The output lodge in Keystone is a solid choice for lunch and drinks. I would pick this place over the summit house at the top of keystone for lunch 5 times out of 5. They have a 15% discount for pass holders after 230p which is nice, but a little off a lot is still a lot. OK, so aren't all of the food establishments owned and operated by vail resorts? Do they have different food service contractors working each facility? What blows me away (with my low standards) is that they have REAL SAUCES available for chicken tenders. Not just your average ketchup and mustard and shitty heinz bbq sauce. They have real sauces and a variety of them. I enjoy the spicy mango ketchup. Totally unexpected here.

Nice break for the legs with my girl and some hot chocolate....life is good

Get here before 11 to claim good spot and will be great! There is also a catch 22 that the prices here are high like all lodge/slope food. However the openess and the atmosphere definitely warrant the price. Also if you show up later in the day is better/less crowded, so can grab a beer or bloddy after some good runs, cant be much better than that.

    Warm up break!

Crowded, expensive, inadequate seating, slow cash register system. Tried it three times now and thoroughly disappointed each time.

Horrible horrible horrible !!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY!…read moreDo not waste your money! We booked this for a New Year's Eve stay with my family. We booked 2 rooms. To start when we arrived and received both our keys, one of the rooms were not serviced. I called and the manager apologized and we had to wait in our other room until it was ready (4 hrs later) Once we get to the room, our TV is not working. We had someone come and he fixed it leaving wires everywhere and said someone would come and finalize the fixing. THIS NEVER HAPPENED. Then, after 2-3 days of using the Keystone Lodge and Spa shuttle, we get told that we aren't allowed to use their shuttle because we were staying at the "Lakeside, Condo area" and that we would have to take the bus routes. Then we noticed our room wasn't being serviced - we didn't know we had to pay $70 for what they consider "mid-stay cleaning" I said I didn't have a problem paying but both rooms needed service and towels. 24 hrs goes by and when we come back from our day out that next day - our rooms were never serviced. I called front desk and it seems like every single person there working was stoned on weed because they were slow and didn't have a clue what they were doing. I complained to a manger who apologize but was also VERY rude and pessimistic. The next day comes and they service only ONE room and not the other! My second room had NO clean towels delivered their entire stay even after my calls and complains! No one helped us!! They then charge us almost $700 for their New Years Eve party that didn't offer any food, hardly had tables to sit, and their "champagne" toast was NOT CHAMPAGNE! It was sparking wine. For the price we paid, we should've had at least had real Champagne. Then to finalize the worst experience at this junk place, the day of departure.. I called front desk to help with our 13 bags. A gentleman comes and picks up our bags and takes it to what we were told "Front Desk at the Keystone Lodge and Spa". We had to wait a few hours for our driver and when he arrives and I ask for our bags, front desk does not have them. No one has a clue where ALL OF OUR BAGS ARE STORED?!? A nightmare!!! Then when we see our charges, we get billed over $600 additional charges for "resort fees" although we didn't get access to shuttle, there is no cleaning service like a resort because we had to pay extra for it, NO CLEAN TOWELS in the rooms.. and when we called the manager said we are paying for the "amenities" What amenities?!? This place was a complete jokes our stay raked up almost $8,000.00! Absolutely unfair. The experience was NOT worth it! DO NOT STAY AT LAKESIDE!!!! The staff are dumb, the price is high and their food sucked!

The views were just fantastic! it's also a spot where people have weddings, I can understand why, with gorgeous views of Lake Dillon, clear blue skies, trees and mountains make for an absolutely memorable wedding setting and stunning photographs. There are several different places to eat. And if you purchase a lift ticket you get a $15 meal voucher. I did get lunch there along with a bacon bloody Mary. I do have to say it was probably one of the best bloody Mary's I've ever had. The only reason that this does not get a five star is because they were completely understaffed. They were only two people working and it took about 45 minutes waiting in the line and to get your food. However the two people that were working or working their butts off and I tip my hat to them, because they were both working very very hard. I ordered the Mac and cheese and the ranch bacon corn and lemonade. The food was good but not worth the 45 minute wait. The Bloody Mary came up quick and that was the best part about the lunch. I am not sure if they were shortstaffed because it was the Labor Day weekend holiday and people took off or if they were more people there than they expected but that was the biggest drawback. Other than that I love this place and would definitely return!

I called to inquire about reservations for the week of Thanksgiving to plan a special anniversary…read moretrip. The person who assisted me with my reservation misled me to believe that I would have access to several amenities, which she named and described in great detail. This information enticed me to book my stay and pre-purchase lift tickets during that same call. 2 days later, I attempted to make reservations for the amenities we had discussed and learned that all of these amenities are scheduled to open after we depart. I reached out about my reservation and requested a date change to the only other week I could travel (in December) but was told that would increase the rate over $4,000 for my 5 night stay. I then asked to cancel as I was still within my 48 hour window. After my cancellation was processed I was told that I will not be able to be refunded for the lift tickets I purchased. I then spoke to a manager at The Kindred and have now received email confirmation that I will not be receiving a refund for the multiple day lift passes I purchased. The email stated that the statements made by their booking representative were not inaccurate because opening of amenities is based on weather. However, this is not accurate. The website very clearly states that amenities will open based on weather but NO EARLIER than November 26. Our trip was scheduled November 20-25. This also does not help at all with other costs I am sure to incur as I am forced to make changes to plane tickets and rental vehicle reservations I made after booking my stay. I am very disappointed. I was expecting a luxury experience (from booking, throughout the stay) but this felt extremely budget, and frankly like deceptive business practices.

My buddy and I finally made the drive over from Arizona and had a blast skiing here. Breckenridge Ski Resort (or just Breck) is a popular resort that is owned and operated by Vail Resorts, Inc. We have Epic Passes and used them while we were here. Breckenridge Ski Resort opened in 1961 and has a total of 35 chair lifts. It has five peaks that are part of the Ten Mile Range. We stayed in nearby Frisco and made the short drive over each morning. We then took the BreckConnect Gondola to Peak 8 and began our day there. Lower Peak 8 is home to the base village of Breckenridge Ski Resort. There are places to eat, shop and rent gear in this area. For trails, there is a good mix of beginner, intermediate and advanced runs that you can access from Lower Peak 8. Check out Ullr, the Norse god of Snow statue while you are here at base village. My buddy and I are intermediate skiers that mix in some black runs here and there. I personally have been skiing since my teenage years. We spent most of our first day skiing runs off the Colorado and Rocky Mountain Superchair lifts to get our warmup reps in. We then finished our day hitting some blue runs over at Peak 6. There are a number of places to grab food and drinks. We hit Sevens (at the base of Peak 7) for an early morning Bloody Mary. We also grabbed lunch at T-Bar over at base village. But for the most part, we snacked on granola bars and other goodies that we carried in our pockets. We like to grab hotels that have a big continental breakfast so that we don't have to spend a lot of cash on food on the slopes. Day Two we wanted more challenging runs. Some people told us that Whale's Tail is a good challenge and fun to ski on. Whale's Tail is a double black diamond run that has a 604-foot drop, from 12,858 to 12,254 feet. It is nestled between Peak 7 and 8 and you have to take the Imperial Express lift to get to it. Imperial Express is the highest lift in North America at 12,840 feet. Crossing the catwalk in strong windy weather was no fun. But you get beautiful views of the entire mountain from the top of Whale's Tail once you get there. If was worth the challenge and we had fun skiing down it. The rest of the day we took it easy and skied mostly green and blue runs over at Peak 8 and 9 to wrap up our trip. We enjoyed hanging out in the town of Breckenridge after our two days of skiing. The town itself is very charming and has a number of bars and restaurants. Breckenridge attracts all sorts of outdoor enthusiasts in both the summer and winter. Breckenridge Ski Resort has made the town a popular destination for skiers since it opened in the 60's. The town is definitely worth a stop after a day on the slopes.
