Discovered this gem of a studio when my wife and I decided to take studio pictures to commemorate our son's first birthday. He isn't quite 1 yet, but we were visiting family in LA and decided it would be the best time to take pictures. This husband and wife run studio was great from start to finish: communication regarding scheduling, tips on finding the studio, thorough explanation about the different packages and pricing, explanation about the different promotions they are running, help in picking clothes for our son to wear, and on and on and on. The studio itself was very clean, with nice, soft diffused natural lighting. There was also flash equipment, but the natural lighting was sufficient on this day. The selection of clothes was also satisfactory as was the different sets available. But the star of this studio is the wife of the photographer. She established an immediate rapport with our son and was able to make him laugh almost on cue. All in all, our experience with the studio was overwhelmingly positive. Alll I can say is, OVEN studio is amazing. The entire experience was easy, fun, and Relaxing?! I was nervous to take my 11months old baby for a photoshoot because I had no idea how she would act. She's a very shy baby so it's very difficult for anyone to get close to her. I was worried that she'd be fussy and cry the whole time and we wouldn't end up with great photos. All of the OVEN studio staffs are baby whisperers. They took such great care (selecting outfits to hairdos) of our baby during the shoot and I was able to just sit back, relax and sip coffee that they offered. I didn't have to do anything! Now the most important thing, photos.. Perfectly captured our daughter. They are the most beautiful photos I've ever seen. I highly HIGHLY recommend Oven Studio for those that are looking to book photo sessions for your baby, event, or family shoot. We haven't had them for an event YET but we did take our first family photos here back in August 2016 along with our son's 100 days pictures. We absolutely adored every single pictures and they made the cutest poses for my son with themes to die for! We actually loved them so much we decided to book them again and just recently took his "dohl" (first birthday) pictures last week. We brought our own outfit and some props for a "beach" theme because that will be his birthday party theme coming up in a few weeks and ended up using a cute matching cap of theirs. The cap totally made the pictures extra cuter and I'm glad the photographer added that on him. As for the traditional theme, we also brought our own hanbok (Korean traditional outfit) but they do have about 5 different ones of their own so if you don't have time to buy/rent, you can wear whatever they have. Note that if you don't have any outfits at all they have EVERYTHING! From casual, dressy, caps, shoes, all kinds of accessories for boys and girls all sizes so don't even stress about what you're going to have your baby wear because I know us parents tend to forget with our busy schedules. They have different packages depending on how many themes you'd like, if you want family photos added, picture album, etc. and prices will vary but they are very VERY reasonable especially for the quality of their photos. Had an awesome experience at Oven Studio today! Needed a last minute one year photo session for my baby and the photographer and his wife accommodated to our busy schedule and even came out on their day off. My husband and I were so touched. We did a holiday mini session and had a great experience. They are talented, professional, friendly, and efficient. The photo turnaround time was super fast! The session was on a Friday, and the pictures were ready to review on Sunday. Pictures came out beautiful. We were surprised to be charged an additional $100 for taking family photos in the mini session. Turned out the advertised price on Facebook was meant for the kid only. They were nice to refund us the difference because it wasn't communicated beforehand. Make sure to reconfirm the price when booking the session. We had such a great experience at Ovenstudio. From the beginning, they were prompt and so helpful at answering our initial questions. Upon arriving at the studio, they helped carry our baby bag in and the whole process from beginning to end was so easy. Oven studio is so great! The husband and wife are so amazing to work with. They have a lot of backgrounds to choose from and they have so many props and clothes you can borrow for the photo shoot. Really loved our photo session with Ovenstudio. It was our second time getting photos taken with them as we also did photos for our first child's first birthday. When it was time for our second child's first birthday we knew that we wanted to go back to Ovenstudio as they had done such a great job with the photos the first time. Negative reviews are more close to the truth. I will tell you only facts. This place is operated by husband and his wife. The wife is very nice and she knows what shes doing but the problem is that the main photographer is not her. The husband is not very professional. He's disrespectful to clients, actually very rude. He keeps making pointless comments but those are totally not helpful and make me so angry. It was for my baby's 100th day pic. So where do I begin... I learned of this amazing studio when my sister had a baby and took her princess to them for her baby's 100 day photoshoot. I fell in love with their props and their professionalism that I told myself that once I had a baby I would bring my baby there for photos. I even recommended them to one of my friends and she ended up going there too. Well, I have a baby now and I went to them for both the newborn photos (didn't know they had such package) and the 100 day photos. I have heard that if the baby is cranky, you will be sent home for a second session. So I scheduled the baby's nap time in a way that would keep him well rested and happy/alert for the shoot. I think it paid off and we just had an amazing session :). I'm one happy mama. I think some of the negative reviews about the guy photographer being rude... he is an artist and can be cold. But if everyone's happy, he's happy. We didn't really have problems and I think for the quality of the products it is worth it. You do NOT need to bring anything with you as their prop room is full of cute clothes/hats/crowns/etc. One thing you can do is browse their website and come with an idea of what you want and they will guide you artistically. Oh, they also shoot with natural light so if the weather is really bad, I think you have to reschedule. But we live in LA. Bad weather rarely happens, right? Parking is available in their building but you have to contact them first so they can open the gate, etc. it is a bit tight to get into the building so don't bring a gigantic vehicle. You will not be disappointed (unless you are a type of person that gets disappointed all the time...)! read more

My little girl enjoyed taking her 100 days pictures and also 1 year picture at Ovenstudio. Every time we visited here, the photographer and her wife welcomed us and escorted us to the studio. We made appointments on weekdays so that we could get 10% discount. When we were at the studio, my baby was hungry and sleepy, so I had to nursing her for awhile, however; the photographer waited for our baby's getting enough rest. The photographer's wife, she assisted very well during the photo time. They worked very hard to capture our baby's the best smile. I give this place two stars based on my sons 100th day's picture last year. First of all, I have other friend had great experience there but not for my case. We called for the appointment and we asked for the price first and we told them that we want to do baby pics and family pics. they said it's around 300 or something . During the entire time, the lady was so nice to my baby and kept making him laughing but you know sometimes baby got tired and fussy so the male photographer was not happy ( I could tell even I don't speak Korean ) . My husband told him that I don't speak Korean but he kept talking to me in Korean which is pointless. And also, in the end , he told us the price is 500 and he pointed out some package on his computer and for me, 500 for three outfits plus two or three big frames? That's expensive. The pics turn out good but not like great. Because there is a background that they did not even edit and it's the white door or slide. Overall I was not happy but it's a good memory for my little man . For one year pictures, I will definitely look for some other places . Btw the lady was very nice and kind. We came to Oven Studio to take my son's 100th days pictures due to lots of friends telling us how good they are. It's a husband and wife who work together in a studio. The studio has different backgrounds, decorations, and outfits/accessories for your little one so you don't have to bring any outfits unless you want to. They have several packages and we got the simple studio b package that included 3 themes, 1 family picture, 2 8x10 frames, 5 8x10 pictures, and 15 5x7 pictures. Prior to making an appt, the wife sent me packaging prices so this package was $450. They give you 10% off if you schedule photo shoot during weekday. The husband is the photographer and the wife helps by making your baby laugh. The wife is really good with babies. She had various toys and tricks to make my baby smile. The husband isnt as friendly as his wife. We were 1 hour late due to traffic so I could tell the photgrapher seemed annoyed. Yes, our fault. They said that because we were late they needed to rush through our photo shoot. You could tell that they were rushing a little bit. But, they did a great job when taking pictures of my baby. The husband seemed judgemental on my husband's and my outfit. We wanted a casual picture so wore jeans and a black v-neck shirt. When he saw me, he said, "Is this the outfit you prepared for your family picture?" Then instructed me to change into one of their white button downs shirt. The shirt didnt look good. I listened because I thought he knows best right? I was not pleased with our family picture. He didnt ask us how we wanted our picture and just told us what to do... by this time, my baby was crying his head off because he was so tired but he didnt stop to try to calm my baby down. So, my baby is crying in all of the family pictures. It's also not what we wanted. They may be good with babies but I would recommend going elsewhere if you're thinking of taking family pictures. Another confusing part was when we were paying. The wife said they raised their prices from when she sent the prices to me but would give me the old pricing. Also, she said that she wouldnt charge us for the family picture because it wasn't good. So I thought I would be paying less than what I planned. Well, she charged me 450 with 10% discount (weekday photo shoot). I dont think she took off the family picture or she charged the new pricing to me. Try to bring cash because they charge you a fee for using credit card. Also, my korean isnt the best so it was difficult communcating with them as they're primarily korean speakers. There are so many studios like this so I would recommend to do your research and go else where. read more

They have various sample pictures to choose from. Photographer and staff were very patient and flexible. They made my daughter and my son laugh for photo. I had a good experience with them.
