Decided to stop by for a nice juicy burger on a Sunday. Upon arrival the vibe was cozy, vintage feel, good vibes. When we looked at the menu we noticed they had no burgers. We were a little disappointed, the staff informed us that in Sunday's they have a pizza pop up called Fratesi's pizza. We decided to stay and we are so glad we did. We ordered the Demon Pig Girl ( house made sweet Italian chicken sausage and pickled hot peppers with hot honey and 24 month old parmigiana ) Omg! It was delicious! This pizza is for my thin crust lovers. All the flavors were delicious and paired very well. We can't wait to go back! Please stop by on a Sunday to enjoy this greatness! Love this place. I come specifically for thr frozen Irish coffee. It is delicious! But the taste is not the only thing I love. The creativeness and the detail is great. The drinks come with an alligator and the straws change color if you touch them. Love it! The music is also a big bonus. Unfortunately, I haven't had the pleasure to eat here yet so I can't say much about the food, but definitely swing by at least for a drink. You won't regret it. read more

My favorite dive bar in town- if you haven't trod the food here, it's a must. A bunch of bartenders in the industry decided to open their own low key spot with good food- and it HITS! Their 2 for 1 happy hour is great. They serve one of the best smash burgers in miami. And their blue crab hush puppies are the bomb (and i don't generally like hush puppies.) Stay for a while and enjoy the DJs that come through, or if it's a Wednesday, enjoy happy hour. All in all very local vibe, with cool people, and walking distance for perfect bar hopping in the surrounding venues. read more

We started with the fish dip since folks seemed to be raving about it- it's tasty and a mild flavor since it's mahi, but honestly nothing to write home about. The gardiniera an buttery-saltines that come with it are great but at the end of the day it's... still just fish dip. Fried gator was great, had a really good fry. Ribs had a really flavorful bbq sauce that was like nothing I've ever had, lots of tamarind. The ribs came with a zucchini slaw that was unique, but had a lot of mayo. I've been wanting to try Over Under for a couple of months and I finally got the chance to so. Pictured is a hibiscus flavored drink. It was really good not too sweet, but also not too overpowering. I would definitely recommend it. I also got the smoked fish dip, which was so good. The fish flavor was not overpowering, and it came with sweet peppers on the side, which was a nice addition. This place serves some big juicy smash burgers. I liked that it came with fries. I took off 2 stars because of the location and the price. I know it's not the restaurants fault but it was nearly impossible to get there due to all the street closures. I had to park the car and my sister walked the rest of the way to get there which was a hassle in itself. Also for 2 double Pattie's it came out to $57, which is pricey for some burgers fries included or not. I think they included their own tip which some may or may not like. Let's get down to the deets you need to know: - Inside is currently closed (duh) so instead you order at a counter, grab a table and your food is brought to you. - The bar program is legit. I opted for a piña colada which was perfect and so refreshing. My husband got the cocktail of the day which was some sort of gin bucket concoction. It was large, had crunchy ice, and a cute alligator floating in it. Win! - To eat, we each got a cheeseburger, fries to share, and chocolate chip cookies. The burger was messy in the best way. The fries were perfect and the cookies were somehow crisp on the outside and gooey on the inside. How do they do it?! - Each table had hand sanitizer. There were other people there, but we snagged a table far away so it felt safe. The staff was attentive and kind. - If you're not following this spot on Instagram, you really should because they're bringing the lolz which is so appreciated during these tough times! I don't live near Over Under but would definitely make the drive back here for these burgers and then some. This popped up as one of the top 10 burgers in Miami so had to try it. Went during happy hour and ordered the cheese burger with a salad. Also got BOGO red wines. The burger was as good as advertised and felt like a play on the Big Mac. The burger was cooked perfectly and had the crispy edges burnt into it which I loved. Not a huge fan of smash burgers so was happy this was more classic. The caramelized onions were a nice touch and the pickles, shredded lettuce and 1000 island dressing again put this all together to feel like a classic burger. Also liked that they toasted the bun. I would eat this burger any day of the week. The salad was a star and probably one of the best Caesar salads I have had. The dressing was clearly home made and loaded with fresh anchovies. The service was great. Loved the laid back vibe and the bar has that perfect pub type feel. The old school hip hop joints were nostalgic and on point. My only nit was the wine. TLDR is that I felt very safe and also these precautions did not take away from the experience. They are offering takeout right now, delivery, and curbside pick up and you can stay up to date at @overundermiami on IG. As for the food/drinks: +Frozen Paloma: this is, and I cannot emphasize this enough, a must. What in the world can't be made better with an adult beverage in slushy form? Plus it comes in a super fun cup. SOLD! +Longshot burger: imagine the nostalgia that comes from a big mac - that sauce, the soft bun, the pickles, the shredded lettuce. Now imagine someone making this nostalgia restaurant quality. It is so good, and you must try it. +wings, fries, cookies - truly the menu is all great and super affordable. Lots of noteworthy things about Over Under, but another point that I thought was fun - a good amount of this menu features vegan/vegetarian options! The vegan chili fries were soooo good. Shout out to one of the bartenders- Ashley - she makes my heart sing and I'm so happy to see her making drinks at this new spot! Had this place on my wishlist for a while now. I was super excited to go especially on an empty stomach. I had seen everyone in previous reviews rave over their frozen drinks and boy were they not lying. I had the frozen paloma and my date had the muscle relaxer 2. Both came nice and strong as well as with a keepsake cup, mine with an epic flamingo stirrer and both with color changing straws. Delicious and cute af say no more. I ordered the long shot burger and my date had the fried chicken sandwhich. I didnt even get a bite of the chicken sandwhich but heard after how good it was. My burger was super tasty with their homemade pickles but ask them to go easy on the lot of islands sause (or ask for it on the side) since its a lot of islands and alot of sauce. They arent lying when they call their fries salty but take in your drink and wipe through some of that extra sauce and youll love em still. I ordered a sour orange slice of pie to go. The saltine crust was super interesting and custard was overall tasty. Not a huge fan of the "toasted" meringue since it got a little too toasty and tasted a bit bitter. This place was great and honestly my first return to sitting inside restaurants. Service was awesome and food was great. Would definitely return to try the rest of the menu and get my hands on more of those frozen drinks. I've never visited this establishment and had a good drink or food item. And I'm not sure how it's so difficult to mess up a dip or simple gin and tonic. Jared was quite rude as well. I asked for some water and I was overly questioned about it and then Jared refilled used dirty glasses that had other drinks in it with tap water and left. That is incredibly unsanitary and uncomfortable, especially since I was not a non-paying customer, I had purchased multiple food items. The drinks all tasted like hand sanitizer. And the cherry on the catastrophe was the vomit in the bathroom sink. I'm sure with a poorly made oyster shell drink that is no surprise. Came here late night (straight from the airport ) for a drink & snack. It's one of the few places near our daughter's apartment that serves food after 11pm. Had a bad after taste then I realized it had 151 proof rum in it. Wasn't a big drink so I wasn't drunk. The chili cheese fries were a delight. Fries covered with jackfruit chili.
