A very nice guy named Jim came out and did some measuring, gave me some design options and came up with what I felt was a very reasonable quote for iron doors, on the spot. They came out as scheduled to install the doors. No fuss, no muss. Over the years the look of the iron doors has held up very well. I have had some of their crew come back at my request to adjust some things as settling on my house has occurred. It is both a great product and they provide great service. I have recommend them to friends many times and have been thanked in return. Then, a few months ago I got a letter from my insurance company asking me to install handrails around my front porch and stairs and without hesitation I called Security Iron Co. to get a quote. Guess who came to my house the very next day? My old pal Jim from 11 years ago. Again he did measurements, we discussed design options and he produced a reasonable quote. They are going to come out and install the rails to appease the insurance company, and I am happy with the look it is going to give my old shack and that it will add to the safety of my home,

He had all the parts and was finished in an hour. He even came back 10 minutes after he left because my wife called to tell him one section kept jumping off the track. No one came the next day to fix it. I followed up a couple of times only to have the owner laugh in my face (over phone/email). They never fixed this minor cosmetic issue. Worst contractors ever! I paid $1215 to get repairs done to my home after getting an inspection…read morereport prior to sale. The house was supposed to close in a month, I was told all the repairs would be finished in 1 day, it took over 3 weeks, with multiple no shows. I ended up having to complete 3 out of the 11 items on the invoice myself. I also separately paid $488 to have my roof repaired, the inspector after revisiting 3 times total, told me it's worse now than before they did their work. Best of all I try to call their number to get them to come out and fix their mistakes, but it goes straight to voicemail and they never return my calls. I now have to push my closing date forward by another week and pay for competent people to come fix their shoddy work. Don't waste your time with them! Get literally anyone else before using them, you'll save yourself some money and you'll keep your blood pressure at normal levels.

Steer clear of Ecoglass. They do very poor quality work and refuse to fix their mistakes. When I called them back, I was treated rudely and the attempt to fix the leaking shower did not work. I ended up having to call another glass company in to fix the work that Ecoglass did. Seriously save yourself the headache and the expense and go elsewhere - I sure wish I had.

He fixed our patio complex french door, which was glass with wood panes into it to a point where you would never know it was broken into. Every other door company wanted to charge me a fortune to order new doors because theywere so badly damaged. These new doors would not have matched our existing 3 other sets of french doors, as those doors are old and not made anymore. Also, receiving the ordered doors could have taken as long as 6 weeks, which would have left our home not secured for that period, as the lock was destroyed. Seriously, you would never know the door had been damaged after David, who also used to work on the bodies of cars, used putty and other materials, plus the shards left behind to leave it in perfect condition. He also hammered out the metal that had been damaged from the thief prying open the door with a grovel. He did an excellent job fixing the garage door that was broken by the thief also. I had many things wrong with the home I was about to sell and he was able to access them for me and I couldn't find anything he couldn't fix or didn't know something about. His Mother, the owner of the company is also very professional.
