Really grateful for all the previous 5 star reviews that led me to call Mike, owner & to the best of my knowledge the sole employee at ODS. Definitely 5 stars- prompt, courteous, accommodating, knowledgeable, cost conscientious & most importantly did not try to up-sell. In fact when I inquired about a particular product, he shared that it was overkill for our garage door & didn't feel we needed it, saving us $150+. Mike offered to repair our current garage door opener (control panel went out on builder installed Genie, ~$200 repair). We didn't feel that it was wise to invest in a poor product (terrible reviews of product & company customer service) & decided to instead put those funds towards installation of a better opener we knew we could rely on. In addition, it came with a keypad that we don't currently have & the new openers come with WiFi! We'd looked into converting our current opener to WiFi. For the price to convert & now the repair it made more sense to start over with a better product for close to the same price. I'm surprised by the 1 Star review saying they couldn't get connected. I have used Overhead Door Solutions twice in different houses. The first time was amazing - on a Saturday. None of the other business were open. There was a broken spring and other damage caused by the previous owner. Mike showed up in an hour and fixed everything. We just moved and called him again. He completed the job of replacing our garage door motor, belt, corrected the wiring for the wall switch, and installed a keypad for remote free entry.
