It formerly had a nitelife of sorts, with the casino, liquor store, and two bars, so drunkards liked to get in fights in the parking lot (there was even a murder); but all that's gone now, the place is no longer scary, and there's an ethnically diverse church to replace the casino. The run-down strip was mall built to 1970s specifications and only ever superficially updated. There's been a cinema there for ages, with four screens. It changed from Olympic Cinemas to Tracyton Movie House in 2021 (though this is East Bremerton, not Tracyton), with plans that make it sound like it could be a real center of joy for youth and maybe entire families, like a 1990s game parlor and big rental possibilities; time will tell if any of that works out. It's such an accessible location it seems like it should be a fine place to have a business but so many have failed and there's always a space waiting for lease. A store for disc golf and other sports equipment, where you could get sports uniforms with screen printing, opened and closed so fast my head swam (it seems to have immediately moved to Wheaton Way as 360 Disc Golf). An automobile license place was very useful but the decrepit plumbing in the mall blew up and flooded the place so they moved far, far away. Eventually they partially reopened but By Appointment Only, a nuisance. There's drive-tru banking. A substance abuse clinic handily near a brewery. A full service pet groomer with self-service pet washing space with walk-ins acceptable. A recording studio called Boom House. Clothing store for chubsters, useful to me. Computer repairman. Dentist. The oddly named Little P. I. "oriental food mart" as they call themselves, inexpensive and definitely worth a visit. Nothing that shouts, ooo, gotta check that out; there is no magnet store (Ivar's restaurant was the biggest draw way back in the 1990s, wish that had remained). But the lovely Wilco Farm Store is practically across the street in a bigger strip mall.

From quick food like Shake Shack, to sit down restaurants like Dough Zone, there's a lot of places you can't miss. Parking is available for street or in the garage up to 2 hours, i'd recommend parking on street unless you're heading in to QFC for two hours in the garage, you will need it validated. The service in Kirkland is great in every store, everyone is polite and clean.

I loved that there is a ample parking spaces here so finding a spot wouldn't be a problem. We stopped her for just for one shop, which is LA Bean, my daughter wanted to get a Vietnamese coffee drink. After getting her drink we walked around the plaza to see what other shops are here, I see many great shops, besides LA Bean, there's various retail shops, such as Arte, Cabinetry, Mama's Kitchen, Nail design, Bricks & Wheels, Katsu Burger & North. Great and convenient location at Miller Plaza, we didn't have a problem with finding parking, quick in and out visit to LA Bean. We also visited other places nearby so it was perfect!

There are an array of businesses here including a barber, dentist and dry cleaner. It also has some casual eateries, including a Papa Murphy's, Tokyo Stop Teriyaki and the popular Japanese sandwich place, TRES. Parking is easy as I have never seen it full. There has been no business turnover as the tenants have been there for many years. It is not an exciting place to shop, but you appreciate its consistency.

Lakemont Village is a neighborhood shopping center for the Lakemont neighborhood in Bellevue. The shopping center's main tenant is Town & Country Market and it has an array of businesses serving the community including a US Bank, Starbucks, a tutoring center and a beauty salon. It could use a nicer sit-down restaurant as there is only a teriyaki joint and a grocery store restaurant inside Town & Country. Parking most of the time is easy here, though it tends to fill up at busy times of the year like Christmas and Thanksgiving. Overall, I think it meets the needs of the area but there are better shopping venues within Bellevue in terms of offerings.

For a little treat, grab ice cream at Salt & Straw, a boba tea from Don't Yell at Me, or a coffee and pastry at 203º Fahrenheit Coffee. It's tough to resist any of these. With this being an outdoor shopping center, it's the most lively during the spring and summer. There is a main outdoor seating area near the cinema and tables here fill up pretty quickly during the warmer months with people who opt for takeout from one of the casual eateries. Across the street, smaller sections of seating are accompanied by fireplaces. I've been grateful for the fireplaces and heat lamps during the wintertime! Other than exploring the food options, I enjoy browsing Nordstrom Rack and could spend hours at the Barnes & Noble. Trader Joe's and Whole Foods are also here. Along with these larger stores, there is a variety of small boutique-like shops, providing an opportunity to support the small businesses. As for parking, the main lot in front of Trader Joe's and Nordstrom Rack get pretty crowded, so I'd recommend parking in the garage on the side of Chase bank. Each parking spot in this garage has a light over it that turns red if occupied and green if available, making it really easy to navigate. With spring right around the corner, I'm sure I'll find myself here again shortly!

I initially had some reservations about finding parking since the outer lots were pretty full and busy due to the Trader Joe's and Whole Foods, but as I walked into the middle of the area, I realized that there were also free parking garages that I could have used. Thoughtfully enough, they even had the number of spaces available displayed on the entrances. This place must get super busy to need that feature! I liked how the greenery was well kempt, and how there were navigational signs so you don't get lost. I went to the Paper Source, Due Cucina, and Don't Yell At Me. Super convenient! I guess the only thing I wished it could have was a better way to travel there through public transportation.

Except for the Tesla booth, no one even bothered greeting us... yes, we brought our cute 7-month-old puppy with us. The music booth planted in the middle of everything was so loud it became obnoxious. Then there was the puppy booth with zero signage -- are they selling puppies or are they a rescue? No clue. The only visible sign said "not fully vaccinated," which raises the question: WHY are the puppies there to begin with? They shouldn't be there as a petting zoo, exposed to random dogs. There were maybe around 10 booths total, and at least 3 of them were just photo-op booths. The "doggy care" booth was especially confusing... what exactly are they even selling? Their setup also had real estate advertising mixed in. Overall, it felt poorly organized, underwhelming, and more geared toward Instagram photos than actual pet community engagement.

It's a good mix of moderate and high end for both retail and dining, so you can find something that suits everyone's needs and wants. The service from all their retailers is always spot on. The center itself is filled with plenty of seating where you can grab a bite, a coffee, and sit down to read a book, people watch, or just enjoy a nice day outside. Without having to cross into the city for Uvillage, RTC is a 10/10 spot to visit!

A few good eateries (Greek, dump,inns and a bakery) plus a very excellent open air book store inside - that description makes sense when you it- offering a wonderful community space for all.
