We have been coming here over 8 years. I left reviews as the new management took over and the sanitation issues went up and up.. My review on Google was just given a very passive aggressive reply by the owner, with laughing emojis and a Cheers at the end, saying they aren't a resort (yet you will drop over $250 to camp for 2 nights as a family...) and mocking my pleading reviews for things to be improved or to be updated on the pump having broken..? Kids and families will walk right through your camp too, so there is no privacy when you go. And with how often everything floods there, the reason for the last group having to sell, and now the cleanliness of the water in question while those speaking concerns are laughed at, it ia only a matter of time before safety is compromsied, someone will get seriosuly hurt, and a lawsuit or arrest will have to happen. Truly, the decks are ancient and haven't been replaced, the bridge from the campsites hasn't been replaced or updated, and many other issues.. We live in Las Vegas and my kids will not let a summer go by without coming here! The staff is so friendly, the food is so good. The pool is massive with fun things for the kids to find on tiles. Do not come here for a family night if you are also wanting dinner. We got here just before 6:30pm and no one was at the window to check us in. We had to wait 5-10 minutes to be helped. We are incredibly frustrated with this place. Five of us drove over an hour to get there because we got a coupon for a free "all day access pass" that said it was good for "one group/family". However, we were informed that the coupon was a mistake and it wasn't supposed to say that, but they wouldn't honor their coupon. Not only would they not honor the coupon, but they were actually really rude and disrespectful about the whole thing. We asked if we could speak to a manager, and a person named Emma came to the window and was significantly more rude about it. She held up the paper and said we were just misreading it (even though the other person specifically said that that ad had been a misprint) and proceeded to point out the words one at a time to "help us understand". Seriously? We've seen other reviews that say the same thing as what happened to us and talked to other people who had the same issue afterwards. If so many people are "misreading" your coupon, maybe you should have done a better job at explaining what it's good for. It does NOT explicitly state that it's only good for one person, nor is it easy to infer that that's what it is meaning based only on your on-site signage or website. (I've included photos of the coupon from another person's review who had the same issue because mine got thrown away.) We are pretty bummed because it's normally $16 per person for the day which is really expensive for what they offer. A pool with absolutely no shade and a spot to catch Crawdads in the river? We can just go downstream and catch them anyway without needing to pay for it. This part isn't necessarily a bad thing, but just so other people know, the parking was really limited (although this would depend on how busy it is when you go) and there's a pretty steep paved road that you have to go down to get to the pool (which means you also need to climb back up). But the location does make it a little tough to set it up in any better way. If the opportunity had ever come up, we probably would have tried to go again but there's no way I'll be giving them any business after the way we were treated. We loved swimming in the large, clear pool, camping in our spacious campsite, hiking around the resort, and playing pickleball, basketball, and volleyball. Veyo Pool has been the perfect place to go in the summer for me and my family. I love rock climbing and they love the pool. It's great to be able to climb a few routes with the kids until they get bored, have them go to the pool while I climb a few more, and then meet my family by the pool to cool down. I just wish it was closer to me, but it's definitely worth the drive. read more

Came here to camp with the kids, the camping spaces are great our family favorite is campsite 19. The pool was warm and fun to swim in. My kids loved the steam. What kid doesn't love water. There is a beautiful hike you can do in the canyon. And the waterfalls were beautiful. The food was great. And so were the staff. They brought us wood to light for the night and everyone was so welcoming and patient with my kids who had millions of questions. Will 10/10 recommend read more

I highly recommend taking your family to a movie night out here in the summer. I went with some friends to watch Pirates Of The Caribbean by the pool and we had a fantastic time. We explored the beautiful property and the pool before the movie started and then enjoyed the movie while also enjoying a delicious pie shake. Get out there! You won't regret it. read more

My young kids and I love Veyo Pools. The secret like oasis is a joy! The camping is wonderful because they have legit potties and showers and the shade is unbeatable. My boys love to go crawdad hunting and I feel comfortable enough letting them go play alone. I gave 4 stars vs 5 because it is EXPENSIVE! I can understand a few bucks of markup but come on- $8 for a dollar store ($1.25) item? Ridiculous! They sell "crawdad catching tools" for $8 a piece and they are legitly dollar store finds. $18.75 for a cheeseburger, fries and 18% tip?! Good lord. Luckily they allow outside food and drinks in. Great place but if your kids want swim toys or crawdad fishing items just be sure to stock up (including hot dogs which they charge almost $2 for ONE CHEAP ASS dog) before you go up! Get there before 11 for the best seats too. Lastly, I wish they'd maximize their space and fix the broken down patio space too. We've been going for 3 years and it's a big wasted space that has great shade! read more

We had so much fun at the Veyo pool. Not only is the water refreshing and fun, the pie shakes were scrumptious. We spent quite a long time hunting for crawdads and were unsuccessful at catching any (it's a catch and release area) but we did find evidence of a crawdad claw that my kids thought was super cool. They want to come back next season and give it another shot but we will be armed with bait and all the things next time. You can easily spend all day swimming, eating, and exploring this little private canyon. The camping spots look really fun, it's on our bucket list! read more

Really cute place. We loved the crawdad fishing and it was fun to swim in a natural spring pool. But the eatery was struggling big time. It literally took 45 minutes for us to get our food. And over an hour to get our shakes. Food was actually pretty good though. I loved how they turned the Veyo Pies into milkshakes. Too bad it took FOREVER!!! If I'm gonna pay over $100 for food, swimming and crawdads for my family of five, I expect a bit more as far as service goes. read more

I just camped here for the first time and had a mixed experience. I was in total aw over the little hidden oasis, surrounded by running water, green trees, a pool, etc. This place offers a lot of fun activities for families. However, our experience was destroyed by one sole individual named Emma, who manages the property. She harassed us daily over minor rules that were unintentionally broken or completely unknown. Her tone in speaking at us was entirely hostile and we weren't treated as paying guests. So if you want to camp at a site with overly strict rules that are not posted anywhere; such as a 9pm curfew and get harassed and threatened with eviction for violating said rules come here. read more

This is a small little town 30 minutes north west of St.George Utah. The weather is perfect and the outdoor atmosphere is amazing. First time camping in Veyo Pool Resort for Labor day weekend and will Never go back. The Idea of camping is enjoying the outdoors and enjoying the night. But not the Owner of the resort is Rude and threatening the campers...when it get darks you can't have fun or get loud or else they will Kick you Out that nignt and take your deposits. The Veyo Pool resorts won't allow you to be loud at nignt...they have curfew. The facility is not even great and the employees are teenagers and rude. Their bathrooms only has 1 shower and 2 toilets for all the campers. The p Pool is so Nasty and foods are expensive. Not worth it at all. Will NOT recommend to anyone. read more

So much fun! Great place to spend time with your family. Sparkling water and cheerful employees, good vibes and good times for everyone!

I've taken my kids over and they love it! One of mine likes to swim and the other likes to be out in nature, so it's a win for both of them!

For first time visitors. Come as early as possible it does get busy by 2 pm ish. There is a little bit of everything to do, there's plenty of areas to walk and enjoy nature while walking beside the stream. The reserved areas for camping are roughly 30 x 20' feet between each site. In most spaces you'll be able to fit a tent a vehicle and your picnic table comfortably. Some areas are a little bit tougher to get to and vehicles can't make it all the way to the sites. The resort will allow you to rent a fire pit and purchase firewood. It gets very cold in certain months of the year, bring plenty of warm clothes and blankets. The bathrooms are really clean and the camper areas are also very clean. There's quite a bit of wildlife in the stream, some kids won't like it. read more

The food was pretty dang good. I really liked the corn dog! Hand dipped. The fries came out cold and we asked them to make them again because we waited over 45 minutes for our food!! My heck! We were starving by the time we got our food. I got a yummy veyo pie milkshake and it was pretty dang good. Just wished it had more pie crust in it. The kids loved fishing for crawdad's. A crawdad kit was $10 and it came with a bucket, pole, food and a net. The pool was cold but fun! The kids had fun swimming in the pool. There were a lot of people but it was a holiday weekend. This place has once again gone downhill. Two years ago, the entire resort was pristine. Everything was clean and well kept. Now, not so much. Even the pool itself is one step above disgusting. For a fresh water pool, there is no reason they should not be draining this and cleaning it and not allowing mold to build up!! I was there all day and didn't see a single employee check the pool ONCE. The Lava Grill is the food source. It's priced like a restaurant but the food is...well, made by teenagers. And snarky, rude ones at that! $12 for 3 kids' cones? Nope. Not again. I guess I'm wishing for the days of the ORIGINAL owners (the Cottam family). THIS Veyo Resort is a far cry from the days when it was operated by Mel and Eddie.
