Not a fancy theater but great service by young "adults" aka teenagers that was a pleasant surprise. Where else can you get caramel corn and or buttered popcorn with your ticket? They've opened up and asking people to social distance..so it's nice to be back at the theater! I don't really think they're sanitizing in between movies but not sure (there was popcorn on the floor still etc) but for the price and carmel corn and young, fun people at the counter...well worth it!

Great theater for seeing movies that aren't first run. This sits in the shopping center by the freeway by Cole and Overland. Seats have all been redone over the years, it is an old style theater with not a very sloped floor but for the price it's amazing. Tickets are three dollars or five dollars including two food coins! Went and saw Ford versus Ferrari tonight we were the only people in this huge theater. We sat in about the fourth from the front row which was perfect for these comfortable reclining seats. The sound system is actually amazing with lots of bass, very surprised. We will be back here quite often I think.

You can't beat dollar movies! The theatre is cheap and they normally have very family friendly movies.

My husband and I both love and grew up watching Toy Story movies and were so excited to watch the new one with our kids. We had high hopes but it was apparent after the first 20 minutes we were not going to be able to stay. I tried walking with my baby but she began crying and I didn't want to be "those people" so we decided to leave. I was the one year olds first movie and only the second for my 2 year old. I thought it would be worth a shot to ask the manager if they offered any discount or something to try and come back and watch it again, with no real expectations of it being offered because I mean we knew the risk lol. But the manager was so kind and gave us free tickets to return! It was such a sweet and kind gesture and I really appreciated it. We will definitely be loyal customers to this theater from now on

So we were just floating. And then the individuals that came in and paid on site were also assigned seats, which the computer new my seat arrangement and chose to not accommodate for that. Overall a rocky start to our experience. The movie itself was great and the seats were nice aside from the creaking. The sound was also not properly calibrated for the previews and movie itself.

High-quality picture, great snacks, and an awesome atmosphere!…read more If you are looking for the ultimate movie date in downtown Boise, CinemaWest BoDo & Giant Screen is the place to go. My fiancé and I caught Masters of the Universe today at 12:10 PM, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. What made it great: The Giant Screen: The laser projection and picture quality are unmatched. Seeing the action on such a massive, sharp screen made the film even better. Premium Recliners: The luxury seating is incredibly spacious with tons of room. The seats recline all the way back, and they feature handy attached trays where we could comfortably set our food and drinks. Excellent Concessions: You can't go wrong with the classic movie combo. Our popcorn was delicious, the Coke was perfectly crisp, and we even walked away with an awesome limited-edition popcorn tin! The theater has a sleek, upscale vibe, and the staff was fast and welcoming. It's a wonderful addition to the downtown area. We will absolutely be back!

Worst theater experience I've ever had :(…read more If my sister and I hadn't been wanting to see Wicked For Good so badly we would have walked out. For starters the volume in the theater was weirdly low... admittedly, we did not notify staff to adjust it as we didn't want to miss any parts of the story. But then about 30 min in to the movie our chairs started shaking/vibrating from what we thought was a loud action movie in the theater next door to us. It continued the. entire. movie. Big bummer. It wasn't until we left that we figured out it was from the band playing in the Treefort Music hall which is right below the theater. Trust me, save your money and go somewhere else. Honestly don't see how this place is still in business with that setup.
