(They were drugs for a procedure I had coming up along with a brand new medication) I had opted to not get one of the meds because insurance didn't cover it. So I said to hold it and I would be back later. Well about 5 days later I came back to get it because I heard back from my dr that insurance would not cover it and I was going to just pay cash for it. Well then Redding drug is trying to say that I had received it. And I never did. Then I get sent home with a bag with two bottles in it. And lo and behold one of the bottles in there is the med in question that they said I had received. Days before. That they could not find. But here is the kicker. I was supposed to get a completely different drug in the bag that ended up having the medication in dispute. And now , because I did not get the right drug a second time they now want to say that I received this other medication too. I even went back into the store and showed them the mistake THEY made and I even brought it to their attention and paid them for a script they should have charged me for if they had given it to me like there were supposed to. But because they didn't even know they gave me that one they didn't even see that they didn't charge me for it. I was honest and paid them for something that they didn't even know they gave me at the time. And this was even days after I had received it for real. This whole story is so confusing to anyone not involved I fear that it won't translate in this review. But basically I was accused of getting meds I didn't and then when I showed them later that they messed up they then compensated by doubling down on their stupidity and denying me a completely different medication. When I arrived I waited in a longer than normal line to get service. When it was my turn I was told only one of the 2 prescriptions was filled. They had no record of the second one. The clerk transferred me to the pharmacist who searched further on the computer and found it. He said it was "lost in the system". It needed to be filled. I said ok I'll be patient. Then he said come back in 40 minutes because he was closing the pharmacy for lunch. I said I have perishables inside the car and it's 98 degrees outside. He said "I'm sorry, come back in 40 minutes." Now you would think if this was my fault or I arrived just at lunch time to have a prescription filled I could understand waiting around. But it wasn't my fault. You would think he would have taken 5 minutes to fill the lost prescription rather making me wait 40+ minutes with perishables inside the car. Very poor customer service.

Before and after that, I can report weekly positive experiences. My elderly mother was on several meds and they got it right. Dane for the rest of the family. Problems were usually solved within five minutes and for sticky problems, I got in Yvonne's line. The woman is a magician. If I needed a med for Mom, she made it happen (unless it was in the doctors end but even then she got it done ASAP). You don't many people like her. Of course she often isn't working and the others are good, too. I appreciate that the retail section is best and clean. It's better stocked than many other drugstores and if I see it on their website or app and it's supposed to be at this location, it almost always is. Again, unlike their competitors. At this location I am shears greeted at the door. People are helpful. I wanted a tiny tube of Vaseline for my lips once and an employee walked the store with me, checking five location as well as digging through the inventory in the back. I'm sure issues emerge with about-to-be-fired staff or others having a bad day. People steal items so it's incorrectly listed on the app. Compared to other stores, this CVS is leaps and bounds ahead.
