Great drink options with big beer selection, full bar and fun specialty drinks to choose from. They also have pizza, BBQ and of course burgers and salads etc. bar tender was attentive and nice. The place is well designed and upbeat casual inside. They sell logo'd shirts which are nice. Loved the owl theme throughout the decor -- it gives the place a cozy, fun, and memorable vibe. We enjoyed a pepperoni pizza and a fresh salad, both surprisingly good and perfect with our drinks. Pizza is a little lower than mid. Holes in the crust are pretty sus. Definitely looks like the dough was a docked premade pizza crust that they add some sauce and cheese to. Very light in sauce. Too heavy on cheese. I highly dislike leaving bad reviews but wanted to add a tiny bit of reality as others are leaving amazing reviews. People seemed relatively nice. This is my second (stellar) review of OWL'S Roost Brewery in Franklinton, NC. This time, we were there for a family wedding/party. Warm,cordial, attentive employees were the watchword! Flexible in the face of our rowdy crowd, both the bartender and servers gave generous, timely, and kind service to a large and loud crowd. Food was plentiful and echoed a North Carolina (barbecued/smoked) authenticity. The venue is fun, creative, colorful and has great acoustics--- which matched our mood and celebration. 2nd time her and first for food. Service by the pretty lady in the TuTu was fantastic. She really worked hard. last night. Cider and beer was good. Got there early for the band and it was crowded. Ordered a pizza with the second round and it SUCKED. At $24 for a 14" it should have been a lot better. Most of the pizzas looked the same as they were delivered to other tables. We will probably got to the Taco place next door for dinner before we come here for the band and beer. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by Owl's Roost given it is in the quiet town of Franklinton. My crew went upstairs where there were about 6 tables, some arcade games, and darts you can get from the bartender. There's also seating downstairs at and around the bar, plus a good sized patio with more seating and another bar so you don't have to come inside. It also looked like they have an area for bands to set up inside, so I imagine this may be a key hang out for the locals on weekend nights. The beer was decent. I got a wheat beer which was fine, and I sampled some of my friend's. I think the stout he had was the most flavorful. The cheesy bread was probably the best I've had. The ratio of cheese to bread was spot on! read more

We are in here once a month. The servers and bartenders are ALL awesome. We will always go here for great live music and great vibes.

So for me, if it's Owls, food and live music then it's a winner in my book. And Owls Roost did not disappoint. When I arrived and walked in, I heard the live music but for the life of me could not find where it was coming from. Low and behold, there literally is an upper "roost" area where the band was located. The place was packed and we had to sit outside to eat( it was a nice night so that was fine). When we got outside, the biggest downfall was that they had no speakers allowing the live music to be heard from the back patio area, but they were playing other music outdoors. Our server (I think her name was Danielle) was very attentive and even managed to track down some Buffalo Trace Bourbon for my friend (his absolute favorite, hard to find). The pizza we ordered was delicious! So service excellent, food absolutely delicious, only downfall is please Owls Roost, have your live music set up to be enjoyed outside! read more

Stopped on a Sunday afternoon for the wings, but the wings were sold out by the time we got there... well SHOOT! Had pizza instead - wouldn't be my favorite or least favorite pizza, a bit on the greasy side, but many pizzas are. Nice woody interior and atmosphere, but small. There is an outdoor patio in the back with live music, but it was too hot to hang out there. Service was slow. One of the regulars had to flag someone down to get us served. We weren't in any hurry, so not a huge deal. Will have to try again on a Sunday afternoon, but earlier, for the wings. read more

This place has a great ambiance, great events, staff was friendly and helpful, and the beer was good. I thought the food was wildly overpriced for what you get. For example, take a look at the spinach dip that was advertised as coming with "homemade garlic chips." They we're actually warmed up blue tortilla chips. The pizza was ok, but you could get a better specialty pie for less than $24 somewhere else. We might come back here for a drink and live music, but would not order food again. read more

It is a brewery, perhaps my expectations were a bit high. I attended with a group of women for moms night out. We sat upstairs, it was extremely loud (there was a band). We could barely hear each other but that is normally the case at bars I suppose. I was not impressed with their alcohol selection and they didn't even have a few basic good wines. Again, I know it's a brewery but most other brewery's I've been to had at least had a bare minimum selection of wine. If you plan on eating, better enjoy pizza because that's all they have. read more

Brought my husband here to celebrate his birthday. What a fantastic place! Beautifully designed, contemporary interior and back covered patio. Have been numerous times on Sunday. They have the best Bloody Mary's which includes candied bacon and grilled shrimp. They were going for the New Orleans style Bloody Mary and nailed it! They do not currently have there own brewed beer but do have quite a selection of beers on tap. They also have liquor with a small selection but enough good options IMO. As far as the food, the pizzas are really good. They are on the pricey side but I have never been disappointed and it's not your typical pizza. They also have grilled/smoked wings on Sundays as well as weekly specials posted on their Facebook page. If you are in the area, I highly recommend them. BTW- the staff and owner are amazing. Love the look, hated the noise level. Your band(s) do not need speakers hooked up. We would hear them just fine where they are placed and it will reduce the noise. Also - if you plan to have a the max level of people, make sure you have a better seating set up instead of lining the edges of the room with extra chairs. You have a patio - turn on the heat lamps!
