This beautiful boutique hotel has 59 rooms so make it a point to make a reservation early enough so there is availability. The Management staff is very understanding and go out of their way to accommodate any concerns you may have. The restaurant in the hotel "10 Below" cannot get any better, the food is very good and they have a great daily happy hour! Really, really nice find in Bend! Rooms are gigantic! Service is friendly! Beds are pretty comfy. And the exercise room is tiny ... and has a steam room and sauna right in it ... which to me is a little odd. The steam and sauna should be in wet areas. The hotel's location is fantastic, too. Conference planning and execution flawless....EASY! Food was not only gorgeous but so so fresh and delish! Service was again above and beyond! The conference space was spotless AV was perfect for our needs. Prices were very comparable! Sleeping rooms...amazing I'll be back for sure just to hangout in my room. We had a wonderful stay at The Oxford. We are looking to relocate to the area, so we were in town to explore and get a feel for the town. The downtown location was great. The employees and the lobby area were very welcoming. The parking garage is close by. I loved the local soap, the nice toiletries, the plush robes, tasty teas, and French press for coffee! What a treat! Everything was pristine and clean, from common areas to the room itself. While I didn't get a chance to use the fitness facility, it looked very well appointed. The room service menu looked delicious. In the morning they have almond milk, protein bars, oatmeal cups, and fruit for a quick breakfast on the go. Rooms have gone downhill since last year and are old and worn out. The robes were very, very worn out and embarrassing to wear. It's apparent that the rooms are not kept up to the standards that their website boasts about and for $450+ per night it's not worth it. No bottled water, and the 3 USB plug in centers in the room do not work. Not happy with this visit at all and it has nothing to do with Covid. read more

A cold snowy Thursday night in early November we pitch up. Quickly checked in, informed of the parking routine to avoid paying which was appreciated. Up to the room which was QUIET (always pleasing when you ask for it upon making a reservation) great bathroom with eco credentials blasting out...all the right bits in the bedroom (well maybe one chair too many) great wi-fi and 2 TV's one with a fireplace and one with goldfish soothing the room. Good bed linens and all top notch spanking clean. SIMPLE....result = Happy clients! Used the steam room and indoor hot tub, right size and again spotlessly clean. Had dinner in 10 Below after checking out other local haunts (do visit Townshends 835 NW Bond Street for a FANTASTIC CUPPA TEA....no coffee TO BE HAD!!!) We were very impressed! In 10 Below we had a great server who knew her wines, tasty food and good ambiance. 10 out 10! Bend is a great little town just the right size and the Oxford hotel must be a major investment and boy have they got it right! read more

I am not sure I can say enough about the customer service at The Oxford, it was simply amazing and one of the best places I have ever stayed. They are attentive without being constantly present, anticipate needs, and do everything they can to make the stay a wonderful experience. Outside of that, the accommodations are extremely comfortable, and most of all, quiet. Also, there is a bar/restaurant downstairs that also provides room service. It is within walking distance of any and everything you would want to do downtown. The only "cons" if I can call it that are the fact that we didn't have a balcony or view, the shower is great but on the small side given the size of the bathroom, and honestly, that is ALL that I can think of as cons. Stopped here for one night, on a long road trip, and the Oxford was definitely one of our favorite hotels on the trip. Room had an attractive modern look with interesting mix of materials (wood, metal). I also liked that there was a sink in the room (we had brought some food with us to eat in the room and needed to clean dishes). The room was also well stocked with tea and coffee, and had a very nice shower. The staff was friendly and very attentive. We also enjoyed the restaurant in the hotel. read more

My beastie and I are on a 10 day roadtrip and ended up in Bend, Oregon, at the Summer Festival. We decided to stay the night. Lodgings were full but we found the Oxford which is downtown and right in the middle of the festival. It was pricey but we figured, go big or go home. Best decision ever! The room (a double queen) was amazing; huge, well appointed bathroom, spacious sleeping area with a living room at the far end of the room. Fresh ground coffee in the room with a French press!!! Staff was friendly and helpful and left a note and bottle of wine in our room for not having our room ready when we arrived...did I tell you that we made the reservation sitting in our car around the corner 5 minutes before we rolled up to Valet? We ordered room service at breakfast so we could get on the road and it was super good. The portions were huge. We should have shared! Yes, I would recommend to anyone looking for a little luxury. read more

Rated/ranked #1 in Yelp, Trip Advisor, The Source Magazine (Bend, publication) and others, there really is nothing that compares to the level of comfort and service at The Oxford Hotel. Bell service, concierge, !0-Below (their in house restaurant), housekeepping.... It is as if the pulled the best of the best from every hotel in the US and invited them to work together. Their team is unified in making your time with them something to write about! In room amentities include top-notch locally roasted coffee with a french press, small batch soaps and lotions (the grapefruit is our favorite), organic matresses that are more comfortable than any I've ever slept on, countless pillows for every desire.. The rooms are gorgeous and unique with beautiful views of the mountains or of the quaint town of Bend. As well, the rooms are whisper quiet. Even my wife ( who is a very light sleeper) sleeps deeply and comfortably all night. There are less expensive hotels, sure - but the actual value and experience, there are none even close! One of the best hotel experiences I have had in a very long time. Having traveled the globe since childhood I have seen my fair share of hotels good, bad, and downright horrific! This hotel my friends could run training courses for others in the industry on how it should be done. It begins the moment you arrive---- the way the hotel staff greet you, to the way the front desk handles your requests, and even to the above and beyond thoughtfulness of making us reservations on Christmas. I will save my restaurant and service review for 10Below. I am certain others have raved about the pillow menu. Don't get me started on the modern decor throughout the hotel and in the rooms. LOVE IT! Bathrooms are well appointed and very clean. We were fortunate to be there over Christmas and whoever handles their design/decor for the holidays does an outstanding job! It feels and looks like you are in high-end hotel. Very whimsical and tastefully done throughout. Did you know that they have a front loading laundry machines gratis? When you are on the mountain all day that is a nice feature for wet sweaty ski clothes. You will be pleasantly surprised by a decently appointed gym for the size. There is also an amazing indoor hot-tub, but the chlorine is a little strong for my eyes and nose. Wish it was outdoors. I can't say enough good things about our experience. We even extended our trip by another day and were graciously accommodated even with a busy holiday weekend coming up. While I want so much for others to know how wonderful our experience was I worry that popularity will change the way things are done. I certainly hope not because we will be back!! read more

Extraordinary experience! My husband and I absolutely loved staying at The Oxford and will most certainly stay again next year. Just a few of the too-many-to-mention things that I love about this hotel - valet service is exceptional - the front desk staff is friendly and attentive, accommodating every need (and even our whims) - I must specifically mention Todd, he really went above and beyond to ensure we had an excellent stay - everything is shiny and new - the entire hotel is super clean, housekeeping does a fabulous job - huge, gorgeous suite, very tastefully decorated and beautiful views - amazingly quiet! Probably the best sleep I have ever had in a hotel. - awesome mattress and bedding, luxurious after long days of skiing - tons of outlets, appreciated that they were on both sides of the vanity/sink area - 1.5 baths in the Cascade Suite - dual rain shower heads, bench and steam in the huge shower - separate deep soaking tub - very, very nice grapefruit ginger shampoo, soap, lotion - French press, Bellatazza coffee experience every morning - additional large coat closet in the entry accommodated all of our ski wear & equipment - room service is really quick, food consistently arrives steaming and is excellent - exceptional workout facilities including dry steam, sauna, and hot tub rooms - incredible room service from 10 Below - terrific location in downtown Bend. If I could change anything, there would be 2 things... - seriously the worst bath tissue and Kleenex ever, the Kleenex on your nose is actually painful. Truly, the paper products are awful enough that we went to the store and purchased our own. I am still surprised about it because every other detail appears to be painstakingly attended to, no other convenience or luxury has been overlooked. - and it's picky, but really stood out against such a wonderful overall experience...we had reservations to stay 5 nights in the Cascade Suite and yet when we called for our vehicle so we could go skiing, 4 of those mornings the front desk answered (instead of the valet) and asked us if we were checking out. Didn't they know when we were checking out? I think it bothered me most because I have never had that experience. I am sure they were just trying to be efficient for when we really were checking out, but being asked every morning if we were leaving felt more as if they were rushing us out. I have stayed at this hotel 4 times (for about a week each time) and they never cease to pleasantly surprise. My favorite things about the Oxford: -The staff is also very helpful and extremely pleasant -They have local, fresh ground coffee, and accompanying, French press in the room. -Local, handmade chocolates show up on the pillow every day. -The soy beds (not a typo) are amazing, and provide the support I need with a back injury. What an amazing hotel! I am highly recommending this place to anyone wanting to stay in Bend, OR. We originally selected this hotel based on a recommendation from another Tesla owner because it has Tesla electric car chargers. When we showed up I mentioned to the valet that we needed as much charge as possible on the car as quickly as possible - and the car was on the charger before we could even get to our room. The staff here are fantastic! They asked about our plans, and we told them a number of details. They remembered ever single detail every time we were coming in or out, asking about our experience at the Cowboy Dinner Tree (awesome), and wish my son luck as he goes away to the Army this summer. They recommended excellent coffee places, with a lot of detail and knowledge about the local establishments. The room was uniquely decorated and well appointed. The beds were excellent. The room had two HD TVs, and they had a video of a fireplace on one, and a fish tank on the other as we entered the room. It was a little touch, but was a bit of uniqueness that made us love the place even more. The location is also excellent being right in the heart of the city. You can easily walk to a large number of interesting stores and restaurants. They also have bicycles that you can borrow to ride around. Highly recommended. read more

Can't say enough good things about this place. If you're headed to Bend, the Oxford is THE place to stay. As other's have mentioned here, the staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are spectacular, and I've never seen a more pet-friendly hotel. We wanted to tour Deschutes brewery and had planned to just go on one of the regularly-scheduled tours. They arranged a private tour for us that lasted nearly 2 hours. It was one of the highlights of our (too short) visit. On a side note, if you're a general aviation pilot who flies into Bend Municipal (KBND), they'll pick you up at the local FBO, Professional Air. Give Professional Air a call and they'll arrange everything for you--including getting you a great rate on rooms here. read more

Wow. This is what every hotel should strive for. Great quality, from the lobby to the rooms to the workout area. Almost OCD clean and the service is outstanding. From the moment we arrived, doorman extraordinaire Todd helped us up with our luggage, showed us around our room and got us fully acquainted with everything the hotel had to offer. We chose from their pillow menu on the way out to dinner, and upon returning we found out choices delivered on our bed. Cleaning service was on point, and even though we declined turn down service we were still offered (and accepted) the little chocolates. There are one or two other hotels to choose from if you want to be in the heart of Bend, but after our experience at the Oxford, it doesn't matter. Very nice room. The bed was super-comfy with plenty of pillows and blankets...I didn't want to get up. Tons of plugs for gadgets, USB hookups for the TV and since I was sharing the room with early-rising friends I appreciated the room divider so I could sleep when they woke. Weather forecast printouts, bikes to borrow, nice robes... Lots of little details like a french press and (good) coffee made it even better. My only critique would be that the precious look of the place (antlers, ceramic animal skull lamps, wood details) will be very dated looking in a year...actually it already is. I'm surprised they didn't put a bird on it. But it is very clean and well put together which is all I can ask. What prompted me to write this review though: I forgot my jacket in the closet (damn doors) and the hotel sent it me with no fuss at all. VERY good customer service. Thanks Alison! read more

Some places are heaven sent and the Oxford Hotel was for me. I had driven 10hrs with my dog and was exhausted. The weather was turning and I just wanted to be home. This place was like being home! Jack (my dog) and me were greeted by a doorman that defined welcoming and kind. Jack, a 14 month puppy, was a bit tired and overwhelmed by another new place on our 14 day road trip. He wasn't as polite as he could have been but they were so understanding. Speaking of dogs, they treat them as the special guest. A bed of their own, a bowl (you get to take with you), treats, doggie bags and their own welcoming committee of Remington. More on him later. It has started to snow so I took Jack on a shot walk. The stores and restaurants around the hotel were unique and charming. But truly the hotel with the best bed ever and a bath tub that was simply awesome. Combined with room service - I highly recommend the scallops. I felt like a new woman when we left the next morning - I didn't want to leave. And grateful for the kindness, yummy food and restful sleep that went a long way driving the 12hrs home especially as we left Bend in freezing rain. That was a an experience. But the best experience was the Oxford Hotel. Only regret is the darling interaction between Jack and Remington was not caught on camera. I have stayed here multiple times. The hotel is gorgeous and location is great - right in the middle of downtown Bend. The staff are great - housekeeping is professional, the concierge is friendly and knowledgeable, the shuttle drivers are nice. Everyone will do their best to help you out in any way possible. The beds are super comfy, the floors in the bathroom are heated, and the french press coffee in the room is awesome. The standard rooms are more like suites - with a sitting area and 2nd TV. They also have a full kitchenette in each room - empty mini-fridge, microwave, and sink. Little touches like the weather forecast and full bar of chocolate at turndown are appreciated. The food from the restaurant/ room service is also very good. I haven't made it to the gym or the hottub yet, so I can't comment on that. read more

This is a world class hotel and the staff are upbeat, friendly, and make sure every detail is taken care of. The hotel has a luxury casual feel that is synonymous with the Bend vibe. Located in downtown Bend it is close to restaurants, bars, the Tower Theater, and other attractions. We were there for an extended stay and Katie at the front desk went out of her way to make sure that our stay was enjoyable Special mention also for Steve, Charlie, and the other valets who are always ready to assist in any way they can. The 10 Below Restaurant is great for a quick bite or a full meal. My personal favorite on the dinner menu is the Angel Hair Pasta with Pacific Prawns. They also have the best house red that I have tasted in quite some time. A beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of downtown bend! The front desk staff are all so helpful and kind, the valet service and attached parking garage make it more convenient than any other hotel I've been to in Bend. My husband and I snuck away for a great date night, where we started with drinks in their attached restaurant called 10 below. The food is exceptional and I highly recommend starting a girls night or date night here, it is so fun! The room was beautiful and had a gorgeous view of downtown. They are also super accommodating of dogs and we enjoyed the experience from top to bottom. We will be back again! read more

Wonderful weekend in Bend made all the better by our stay at The Oxford. We were traveling with our two sons and our dog. Many hotels allow dogs, but the Oxford is the dog-friendliest place we've ever stayed. The treats, beds, and bowls are all nice, but it's the dog-loving attitudes of every person on the staff that made all the difference in our visit. Our dog was as much of a guest as we were. We had every reason to believe that our pet-friendly room was as comfortable and lovely as any other room in the hotel. The bed and the pull-out sleeper sofa were both very comfortable. Service was spot on and attentive. We didn't have a chance to eat at the restaurant, so we will have to try it on our next visit -- because we will definitely be back! read more

Recently tried this place out for a change from normal Bend living with some friends. Wow, it definitely IS a change! You don't even feel like you're in Bend anymore. The interior decor is such an odd mix of modern with Northwest! But the oddest part is that they work together! They hotel is decorated with every detail thought of. If you need evidence of that, check out the bathrooms at 10 Below. Very charming (yes, I'm talking about a bathroom). We had great service everywhere we went, even with the turn down service knock at the door where they offered us an "Oxford Chocolate Bar" from a woven basket. Unparalleled service and comfort. Yeah, this place was pricey, but worth every penny. The bed was exquisite, there are five types of pillows to choose from, the room service was great, and their restaurant was absolutely fabulous and so reasonably priced. We came here to celebrate our 5th anniversary as we made our way on a road trip of seeing family and getting to a wedding. We initially booked at another, much cheaper, motel that looked nice but was actually not doable (the dunes...don't do it). We didn't even care that we forfeited the money we paid, it was just so gross and smelly and disappointing. We called the Oxford, made a reservation, and showed up 15 minutes later to some chilled champagne, a card for us, a special room with a balcony, just absolute heaven. Everyone we encountered there from the valet to the bell service to the check in were kind and welcoming. They went out and got me flowers for our dinner at their restaurant. I just cannot day enough good things. You can save $70 a night and stay at like the Hampton inn, but you get none of the service and special details. Also, seriously I was impressed with the restaurant and the prices were so affordable. We could have easily paid double for the filet and braised short ribs and wine we enjoyed, so we more than made up for the room splurge. We can't wait to come back! read more

This was the best hotel experience I ever had. We arrived early. They valet helped us bring all our stuff inside they had fresh cookies and warm cider waiting in the checking station. Since we were early the room wasn't ready yet but they organized all our luggage in the back room. One of our paper bags was ripping and they gave me a reusable bag to out it in and re-packaged it for me. We asked the valet for recommendations on breweries in the area. Two of them came over pulled out a map and began marking locations, explaining the benefits of each one, and telling us how to get their. We began meandering around and they called saying our room was ready. By the time we got back to the room they had already moved all our luggage up. Everytime I walked up they we there ready to help with anything and everything. We had to leave super early the last morning. We told them the night before. When we got downstairs they had the car warmed up with fresh water bottles for our drive. Seriously nicest people and best experience in a hotel we've ever had. Note: when you check in they give you a coupon for a free glad of wine at their bar which is right downstairs. read more
