Anyone involved in any time of athletic activity should go here. All the therapists here are DPTs…read moreand understand that your goal is to get back into your sport, and won't limit your body to "ideal" movements. You won't be told that it's bad to squat below parallel, or put your arms up past your shoulders. I've heard both of those statements from other places, unfortunately, no sport follows those movement patterns. They stay on top of current best practices in therapy, and do a great job of getting you out of there as soon as you're ready. If you're scheduled for 10 visits, but you've cleared all of their tests to graduate therapy in 7 visits, they won't waste your money making you come in another 3 times. I'll absolutely be back here should I get injured again.

Finding footwear for my finicky feet (look at that alliteration!) is a difficult task. I've…read morepreviously had foot surgery, so I have to be careful what I wear. I had previously gone to a Foot Solutions in California, so I was excited to find one in Cincinnati. I ended up getting custom orthotics-- though pricey, they have worked out very well, and are worth every penny. I love how they take notes about your foot, gait, etc so they know which shoes to recommend. Of course, not every shoe is the most fashionable, but you can at least get an orthotic to fit into your other shoes. If you have difficulty finding shoes, I'd pay Foot Solutions a visit.
