Let me paint you a picture: I'm sitting in Las Vegas, 2,500+ miles away, trying to coordinate carpet cleaning for my rental property in New Jersey like some kind of long-distance logistics wizard. OxiFresh was my ride-or-die back when I lived there -- their cleaning is genuinely stellar, no notes. But oh boy, did Corporate have other plans for me. I called the franchise location directly and got connected to what I can only describe as a human answering machine with a script and zero problem-solving skills. She asked for my zip code, discovered I was ONE town over from their service area, and essentially said "not my problem" with a smile in her voice. Fine. I escalated to their big, shiny nationwide toll-free number -- you know, the one that implies they can help anyone, anywhere. Same song, different robot. And when I asked if they could at least point me toward someone who could help? Crickets. Loud, echoing, maddening crickets. So here I am, managing a 2,500-mile gap, a time zone difference, and a corporate policy so rigid it apparently can't bend one zip code for a loyal customer. I eventually found a local mom-and-pop shop that's been in business for 38+ years -- and shockingly, they acted like they actually wanted my business. Imagine that! OxiFresh, your cleaning crew is amazing. Your corporate policy department, however, needs a deep clean of its own. read more

My experience with oxifresh was a little uncomfortable. It's the reason why I knocked off 2 stars. So first things first, I think they did a good job overall. Scheduling an appointment was nice and easy and the person on the phone who scheduled me was really helpful to any questions I had. The tech who was doing the cleaning called the night before to remind me of the cleaning and was punctual on day of. This is my first experience with carpet cleaning which tells you the amount of dirt/stains it has accumulated over the years (I know, yikes). **why I felt uncomfortable was because I showed the tech the rooms to be done and by the last room he literally said, "you're not making this easy for me." Honestly, I was taken aback and felt ashamed. I know it's our fault for not keeping the carpet clean but that's why I called... and another thing that I saw was that there was a clock and wires on the window sill that were plugged in and he held onto the wires (with clock) and after he was done with that area he just dropped everything. Good thing the clock was durable but he could've broke it. I just thought it was a little rude. And again, I fully understand that since this was our first time having our carpet cleaned there would be some light visible stains that were tough/old to get rid of. So if you have old stains for years, they do get majority off but not entirely. I would also like to add that we are a family of 6 + a dog. They do clean deeper than a vacuum which just gets the surface so they got a lot of dog hair and dirt within the carpets. They did remove plenty and our carpets do look better than before. The technician, Michael, was prompt, professional, and meticulous in his work. He explained each step of the process as it came up (pre-treating, cleaning, the different add-ons I ordered, what to expect with drying, etc.), which left me with very few questions at the end of the cleaning because he had already answered them all. Had a really good experience with this company. I was in a rush to get a chair cleaned before heading back to school. I contacted them through yelp the night before and they sent a technician over the next day. I had gotten the chair off of Craigslist and it had a couple of stains as well as a pet smell to it. The technician looked it over and finished washing it after about 30 minutes. The spots were visibly reduced if not gone and the smell undetectable! Plus, they offered me a really good price. I called them Thursday late afternoon to set up service, I was able to get an appointment for Saturday afternoon. The tech who came to my house was extremely polite and professional. He did a fantastic job. Our carpets look great. He was able to remove several stains and the lingering "dog" smell. (Sorry, Doggie. We love you, but you stink). I've used them twice in the last 6-9 months. Always on time, and they call before they come to confirm the time. Very polite and knowledgeable. Did a great job on my carpets. My son dropped a plate of grease and butter on a light beige carpet and they got most of it out. After a few weeks some of the stain came back, but they permanently removed over 50%, exceeding my expectation. The stain is gone again after a second cleaning last week and hopefully won't come back at all this time - if it does, this is not for the lack of this great company doing an excellent job, it is really more the nature of the stain :( read more
