I have used this company for years and it has been hit or miss depending on who cleans your carpet. But it's either they did an awesome job or that it's passable. This time around, the guy came and did something for 20min from start to finish and said he was done asking for $125 (originally quoted $275) saying he couldn't get the spots out. I don't think he even tried. I called the company to let them know the next day and was told someone else was going to come out to redo the job. He came and I guess he did some spot treatments?There was no difference. If this was the level of cleaning I needed I could have done it myself. I ordered this service for my office and ran into 3 problems: 1. It does NOT dry in 2 hours like they said. It is a very warm dry day out and it's been 4 hours and my carpet is still quite damp. 2. The owner tried to over charge me. When I first made the appointment I asked how much to get a rug cleaned and told them I just wanted a quote, not the work done. I decided against it, but after cleaning my carpets, Lowell tried to charge me the price as if he'd cleaned my rug too! I called the company office to check and sure enough, he was trying to have me pay for work he didnt do. Not cool. 3. I learned after the fact, that in order for this type of cleaning process to work, you have to vaccuum up the dirt that has adheared to the propel glycol substance. They failed to explain this to me when I ordered the service and I L i'mwasn't prepared for this extra step. I expected the job to be complete once the cleaners came and went. Lowell said I was making a bigger deal out of it than it was, but I have clients with allergies and need the floors fully cleaned, which is only done when vacuumed. Im currently sitting outside my office still,l watching the sun set, waiting for the carpet to dry so I can vacuum and get all my stuff moved back in. read more

I thought I'd give this company a try. I'm all for helping out new businesses. Absolutely horrible!!! I paid over $300 to get all my carpets clean and they are still a mess!! My husband and I even went as far as moving stuff out of the rooms to make it easier for them. NOTHING got moved!!!! Not even a light coffee table. He went around all my furniture we didn't move!!!!!! They asked about stains. They even said they could get normal foot traffic up. Nope!!! Ugly stains still here!!! You can see where they cleaned and where they didn't. We are now in the process of finding someone to clean up their mess. We needed someone knowledgeable in removing pet odors from a recently purchased home. After calling several businesses Oxi Fresh was the only company who spoke specifically about how they deal with pet odors. RP was on time and very thorough. He explained my options for removing odors and sanitizing. He used very little water so the carpets dried quickly. He was very pleasant and I felt comfortable being in the home alone with him. If I could give zero stars, I would. Support a different reputable business. This company doesn't have any respect or regard for your time. Also doesn't have anyone to communicate with locally, when you call the local number you are directed to a national call center. At 20 minutes past appointment time I called to see what the ETA would be. Call center said they were unable to get ahold of our technician and asked me to call back in 20 or 30 minutes. So I waited, when they still didn't show up (50 min past appointment time) I called again. this time they said they were sorry but the technician was unable to work today and that she was supposed to call and let me know. She did not do so. A call or email from the company to reschedule would have been the appropriate thing to do in this situation. However they trusted their flakey technician to handle that which she did not. Not a good reflection of your local franchise or your company in general. In preparation for your company to do the service we scheduled you for, the bedrooms were completely emptied of their contents and furniture. Now that you didn't show we will have to move the furniture back in so there is a place to sleep, and we will live with the house in disarray until we can hire someone to do the job we thought we hired you to do. read more

The next day RP the technician arrived promptly at the scheduled time. I walked him through my home and showed him the problem areas which I wanted to be cleaned. He explained to me the cleaning process and was very transparent with the results I would be expecting. He informed me the quote I was provided the day prior was in fact the price for the service and there were no hidden costs or fees. From a customer service perspective, Lowell was very professional and on time and did our 5 bedrooms in an hour. Everything was great and no issues with him providing what we ordered. Carpets seemed to dry within a couple of hours with the exception of a few high traffic spots which Lowell did a couple extra times so it took a bit longer to dry. As for the results, meets expectations. The carpet is 9 year old, neutral and not high end. I think he did the best he could do and I'm satisfied. Honest guy and a good experience. read more

Had a scheduled appointment today at 8 to get my carpet cleaned before my Mom comes into town. At 8:30, I call to see if the technician needs help finding my house. Owner calls back, apologizing that he gave her the week off to go to Tahoe. ??? It's not rocket science to check the schedule to make sure there are no appointments before you do something like that. And of course, there's no one else available to come and he can't fit me in within the next two days. Why bother making an appointment?! No accountability or responsibility. It must be nice. Sketchy Strange encounter. Darrell arrived an hour late. I had to call and see if they were coming. He said he couldn't get his vehicle up the driveway. So he walked up. Asked me for the gate code rather than open the walking gate. Came with a clip board to "assess the work." Said he couldn't clean the couch because it was stained and it was cotton. Looked at another piece of upholstery and said it was too dirty. I thought to myself,"that's why I called an upholstery cleaner. " He then asked some questions about the property where I live and then left. Feeling dismayed, I went and got some Dry Cleaners Secret and cleaned all the stains from the chair, without any problem. Then I took the cushions from the couch to the dry cleaner. He said,"this is what I do. They will be ready on Tuesday." Very weird encounter. Will not call them ever again. read more

He explained what he would be able to accomplish with the condition of my carpets. We had some pretty bad stains from our dog who has passed and some glue stains. He got all the glue out which I was super happy with and over all the carpets look clean(er). The product he uses is green another plus for me. We have 2 dogs still. They carpets were slightly wet - dry in about 1 hour. No odor - yay!! Now the con : the big black stain in the high traffic area did not come out once it was dry. Kinda bummed about that. read more

I recently hired this company to clean my carpets. The man was here on time, got to work in cleaning two chairs and 5 rooms, 3 partial rooms as we told him not to move the boxes in two rooms as they were storage as they were never moved since we moved in, and the bed and dresser in the other. In the Living room and Dining room he said he was not allowed to move the couch ok fine but the only things he moved were the two chairs he cleaned, and not very well. Not the coffee tables or rocker in the corner, not the dining table in the dining room. When he finished the job 80% of the stains were still visible, he said they would probably come out if he came back in 6 months. I paid over 3 hundred Dollars for this service. Because the carpets did not look clean, we hired another person to come in and steam clean the same areas when was finished the carpet stains were gone and the carpets looked new. From what I saw with Oxi Fresh there no extraction method to their cleaning, all they did was spray the Carpets and use a rotating brushing machine on them and call it a good day I would never recommend Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning to anyone. read more

I am very happy with the results. Marcus Johnson (mja015) was awesome. Yes, I paid more than was planned online initially, I kind of planned this knowing my carpets needs a lot of help; but he was very honest about the whole process. He told me that not every stain would be gone, but it will look a lot better than it does. Final results confirm his claims. The carpets looked so much better than before. I know my carpets are old (2005); I tried to keep them clean with my own shampooer. I had short time relief, but the stains would always come back. I think mostly because the gallons of water used. The soaked carpet only stored the stains underneath. After time, the carpet reverted to the same dirty carpet that I tried to clean. I had a mailer offering an alternative to carpet cleaning with an amazing price. I was not sure what the process was, but I just wanted my carpets cleaned. Once Marcus arrived, he explained to me the process, which required no water. I was a little apprehensive, but let him proceed. It took like 2.5 hours and the carpets looked great. After he was done I left for the evening to a family BBQ. I returned later, the carpets looked great. They were dry. I am very happy with this service! read more

I normally don't write reviews and I normally don't get excited about having my carpets cleaned, but this company was exceptional! I have had my carpets cleaned 2 times in the last 5 years by environmentally friendly companies and really didn't expect anything to brag about. I have lived at my house for about 9 years and the carpets are really old, like 1908's old. i have replaced most of the carpeted areas with hardwood floors over the years but still have carpet on my stairs, upstairs hallway, and 1 small bedroom. The job wasn't much and most of the carpeted area wasn't really dirty. My stairs, however, were pretty bad. On the downstairs landing i had a huge patch of paint from about 5 years ago when i decided i didn't need to put down plastic because i would be very careful. Now this isn't regular wall paint, this was that Gripper professional grade primer on my carpet. I also had wine, chocolate, and coffee stains on the carpet. And I have 2 adult cats. And I foster kittens. My carpet was a hotmess. Both carpet cleaning companies i had used in the past admitted they couldn't even try to get out the paint so i decided whatever i'll live with it and eventually put in hardwood. Robert arrived at my house on time and was very professional. i showed him the areas and he looked concerned. i told him not to worry about getting out the paint it was permanent and he said that he could get it out. I was like "ok, well thats nice, good luck". it did cost a little bit extra, $20 i think. I told him if he could get the paint out to charge me whatever. Anyways, it took him like an hour to do each stair and the small room and the landing. And guess what? HE GOT THAT PAINT OUT! I am going to try uploading a before/after pic, not sure how to do that yet. He actually got ALL of the paint out, but i took the after picture when he was not quite finished so you could see faint outline of the patch and a couple small splatters. If not for the almost finished pic you would think i had just gotten new carpets. Seriously, they look better than when i moved in. I'm just in total awe of how well and fast the stuff/people work. AND my kittens were playing on those stairs a few minutes after he left with no problems, that stuff is so safe! Anyways, i highly recommend them, especially if you have paint on your carpets.
