He didn't just clean my carpets, he explained what he was doing and why and educated me on how to properly care for my carpets in the future. He didn't try to upsell me (I got a package deal on-line) which I was thankful for b/c I can't stand when folks try to upsell me or sell me something I don't want or need. He essentially said, you don't need your stairs or upstairs cleaned at this point. Carl clearly knows his business and takes pride in it. They saved our carpet!! I have been using yelp forever but I only write reviews when something is extremely bad or extremely good. If you are looking for a carpet cleaner you search ends here. Our carpet was disgusting and it ended up looking great after this service at a very reasonable price. His process is much more efficient than steam cleaning because he leaves the carpet dry after. Steam cleaning leaves it wet which can lead to a lot of mold and make our house smell awful. OVERALL: Use this service. The business owner is extremely knowledgeable and kind. I could not say enough good things about Oxi Fresh. Not only were they extremely accommodating and professional (I needed the carpets done within 24 hours), but the cleaning itself was fantastic. These folks are lifesavers! A day before we were to leave town for a road trip we had a car upholstery emergency: a cat had urinated on one of the seats. We called Oxifresh of Williamsburg and Carl came out that day. The smell and stain are completely gone without getting the fabric too wet. Cat urine is some of the nastiest smelling stuff on earth, and it can be very difficult to get rid of it. I had Carl clean my carpet as I was leaving my apartment. He did a fantastic job. The carpet looked better than it did when I first moved in. He even got out some stains that were there when I moved in more than a year ago. He collected a large amount of dirt and used very little water. The carpet was cleaned and dry in about 2 hours. Small family owned local business that does a fantastic job. We recently moved into the area and the previous owners had an apparent incontinent dog.
