In response: Tina, for starters you did not honor what I paid Groupon. I actually paid less than what you charged me. You also knew about being on Groupon because the friend that referred me told me that she bought a Groupon and it was honored. Furthermore, The fact that you do not know how you were unprofessional is pretty sad. You were not only rude to me, your customer , you also embarrassed your own employee in front of me and other clients by saying to me right in front of her that she didn't know what she was doing. Billy, the owner is my absolute favorite. My nails always come out gorgouse and my toes. We conversate the entire time and his prices are more than fair. There have been times I have been indecisive and Billy is as patient as ever, changing the design, the color after he's already started etc.I found billy and his wife, tiffany when I moved to florida last year and will stay with them. So hard finding a really really good salon like this one. Billy is very honest if he can't do the design or isn't comfortable he will send you next door to his wife who can do it. I came in for dip manicure. My nails came out very thick and the tech missed the cuticles. Within days, my nails started to chip. I was surprised that the salon followed up with me.. when I told them what happened to my nails, I was told that they stand behind their work and I can come in to have them fixed. The owner was really nice and she re did my nails, but within a week, 4 of my nails chipped again. For what I paid, it would've been nice if my nails lasted at least 2 weeks. I am super picky about my nails after having them done for over 10 years by the same tech who hand-files (I have sensitive hands, drills usually hurt/ get too hot for me) and is a perfectionist. After several bad experiences at various other locations with terribly shaped nails, the tech digging up my nail beds and leaving deep grooves, or bad product that leaves the nail green I looked over reviews then I decided to give this place a shot. Brandon is amazing. I had never tried the Bio Seaweed gel before this, but he convinced me to try it and I love the stuff. I saw Tina once for a fill, she is super-personable and has all the color and style options on point. They listen, are very courteous, and any little thing I have a problem with they get me in to fix me up ASAP (I am a chronic nailbreaker due to my work and hobbies). I am new to the area and tried this salon based on Yelp reviews. I now understand why there were so many positive reviews, they were mostly from a previous location that Tina and Kim worked at. The location in Jupiter is new and not as busy. I received a call from Tina asking if I could come in an hour earlier than I was scheduled. Not a problem. However, when I arrived and was seated for my manicure with Tina, Kim, her mother and the person I was to have my pedicure from, started a conversation with me about how she could make me look younger. Showing me pictures of women who she had "made look younger." First of all, you don't know me and how dare you start a conversation by basically telling me that I looked old??????? I believe the product is called Botox in a Box. I was then barraged with other services that they offered that would improve my looks. Wow!! I didn't realize how bad I looked and how much improvement I needed. My manicure was rushed, as Tina had to make an appointment at a salon that she works at in Boca. I had the gel manicure and it looks like I had an acrylic manicure, because it's so thick. My pedicure was a nightmare, an hour and a half of listening to details about the salon and their finances that, as a customer, I should not have been privy to. In addition, details about the family that were inappropriate to share. As for the pedicure, it was below average. Needless to say, I will not be a repeat customer. read more

Unfortunately, I have to write a negative review about Oxygenix. I made an appt online - off of their website. I also confirmed it via text through their automatic confirmation system. When I arrived for my appt, the girl at the desk told me that my technician would be wrapping up another appt and to wait in the waiting area.....well, I sat there for 40 minutes, got up and asked if maybe my appointment was a later time. Then I noticed the owner was called over, and he tried to explain to me that his booking system didn't book my appointment correctly. Strange because like i said, the girl at the front desk saw my appointment and told me to take a seat. He and the girl were not even apologetic or offered to book me another appointment. Just a really terrible way to treat a new customer. I don't like writing negative reviews - but I wanted to warn others here. Not much appreciation for customers here. Good Luck! Absolute worst experience I've had at a salon in my life. I actually had to tell the woman to stop doing my nails after the amount of time she was taking to take off my gel polish and the damage she was doing to my nails in the process. Sh They convinced me to have another woman finish them, still charging me full price and a $10 fee for taking off the gel polish. This was for a wedding out of state I was attending the day after. The next day, one chipped and a real nail broke. Today, one week later two more have broken down so low that they are bleeding. I never complain or write bad reviews, so I decided to call the salon and speak with someone regarding this bad experience. Not only was I told that I wasn't charged the full price, which I was, but "the manager" basically just said come back in and we will fix them. I explained you cannot fix them because two are broken so low down that they are bleeding. She informed me to come in and she would put an artificial nail on. I am a medical professional so of course I declined her offer. I paid a total of $40 for this gel manicure one week ago and now I am left with 3 broken nails. I hope this review helps save someone else's nails. Update: Thank you for your comment on my review Tina. I paid by credit card and was never told to come back in for a refund. I also never updated my post until now, so I'm not sure what made you accuse me of that. I am much to busy to worry about your salon, the refund I never received, or this review. I moved from New York to Boca in August and was nervous about finding a new salon I like. After my first time with Tina, I was beyond happy. The salon is very welcoming, clean, and efficient. I have gone every two weeks since August and I'm never disappointed. I always get a Biosculpture Liquid Gel fill and usually a pedicure. My pedicure is always relaxing and done very well especially because of the great customer service!! Pricing is very fair and totally worth it if you're looking for excellent service. Tina, is very talented and right after seeing her she has always does my nails exactly how I want - I love not having to ask my nail artist to fix something!! I usually stick to a light pink/nude color but today Tina did an ombré look. I just let her do her work and of course am in love with the outcome!! 10/10 for nail salons in Boca! Worst experience ever!!! Its upsetting to be writing a review because the people were nice but I am so disappointed at the outcome. My friend and I called ahead asking for two mani pedis. When we got there we started having a bad feeling about the place soon after due to the lack of nail knowledge from the two people. The man doing my friend's nails kept asking my nail lady how to do things and where things were. My nail lady almost kept cutting my fingers using the nail file machine. I never received a pedicure but did not mention it because I just wanted to get out of there and after seeing how my nails were turning out I did not want to waist money on my toes. None of my nails are the same shape and I'm considering going somewhere else to get them fixed. Towards the end of our visit the man claimed he was just in to do some maintenance and it was his first time doing nails. My lady was sweet but I don't think she was certified to do nails. It took more than 2 hours to do my nails and I just had dip. I found out the owner had another salon that I used to go to in Boca that I stopped going to because of the service there. I believe it is the owners fault. The two people doing our nails were sweet and were just trying to help our the owner but the owner should stop being money hungry and also care about her clients. I will definitely not be returning to this salon ever again! UPDATE!! I got my nails done on Monday it is now Thursday and one of my nails has broke. I have been growing out my real nails for months and I have never had a problem with breakage. It broke while I was putting my shoe on... a person should be able to do every day tasks without a nail breaking. This problem just emphasizes how awful this place was.
