My shopping companion said the chicken teryaki here is excellent. I was more in the mood for shrimp on rice. We each ordered and we split the meal. We both enjoyed our food. I was surprised they are using Styrofoam containers.

Save your money for something better.

Just look at the way this nigiri is packed. Its rounder than a fat kid with diabetes. The sushi was made with no love and viciously manhandled until it resembled something that is semi-edible. I was too trusting and took a bite, the fish was rank and the rice was severely under seasoned. It tasted like a rushed group project with 7 weeks of time to complete. The overall quality of the food is abysmal and the staff are on their last legs. The environment of the counter is reminiscent of death row. If you are masochistic then consider spending your money here, this place only serves pain, disrespect and discomfort at a high price.

It was late and we were tired from shopping, but we didn't want a full sit down dinner, so we grabbed a bite to eat at Oyishi Japan. They seem very busy and popular. We ordered the Chicken Teriyaki and Orange Chicken, both on rice. They didn't offer free drink refills, so we purchased it a few doors down. The portions were generous for $5.99 each. The food was okay, but service on the other hand was unfortunately awful. The cashier and staff were dismissive and quite rude. The food was slapped onto the containers and they just shouted for us to pick it up. I would have to be in the mood for fast food Japanese stir-fry to try this again.

    This tastes good.

Let's be honest, Japanese food at the mall is delicious. Okay, I just wanted to get that out of the way. This place is located right in the food court at the Walden Galleria and thanks to the gentleman handing out free samples of the orange chicken (at a mall, the Japanese place can serve whatever they want) and it was really really good. So after my delicious free sample I decided It would be in my best interest to get the Orange Chicken meal with white rice on the side for lunch! I have no problem with my mall food being pre-made and thrown in a container right in front of me, in fact, it's probably why I'm getting it anyway, fast and cheap. My meal and a fruit punch came to around $7.50 and I have no complaints, solid food court food!

It's simple. teriyaki chicken, double meat. It's what I order every time I visit this establishment and I always leave happy and full. Other than the fact that it's in a mall food court this place has good food and it's very efficient on time in line. So it makes for a perfect lunch destination. Don't be alarmed by the vocal register attendant. He's just trying to keep his line moving and when you are on a tight schedule we all can appreciate that. I have honestly never tried anything else on the menu, but if you like teriyaki chicken and a lot of it, I recommend this place to you.

Teriyaki chicken tasted like absolute dog food and the cook was not wearing a mask. Absolutely horrible and would not come back here

Hard working people working in this restaurant as we could see as we peaked in the kitchen on our way out the door. Small place with huge menu. Decisions, decisions on just what to order. Hubby chose the shrimp bento box. He enjoyed. I ended up with the Tom Kar soup and california rolls. I loved the soup. And it was the good kind of california rolls...not the fake crab stick...the salad style (see my pic). The decor is quirky and kind of a no frills type place. Nothing fancy or high end by any stretch. Quite a few tables occupied, and lots of takeout orders. Seems the word is out that they have delicious food. I do recommend if you want your sushi fix.

Well, of course my husband and I had to try it and what better place to get our food from than Teton. Because we needed a lot, and definitely had left overs, we went with the love boat for 2 all variety of fish for $69.00, as well as two tuna handrolls. I love their tuna handrolls. They are scrumptious. Teton is great for gluten free people and they modify to make sure everything is good to go. There was so much food. The sushi and the rolls were great and fresh. The ordering process online is extremely easy, even when you are ordering with a dietary restriction. If you want quality fish, go here. Taka, the owner, is great. Do something different, order some takeout and play homemade battleship with your spouse or a friend.

They also have a large menu (some might complain its too large, lol). They have a variety of Thai, Japanese, Chinese, and other Asian dishes. They also have samosas, which was unexpected. I ordered the Spicy Chicken Curry Ramen, which was phenomenal. I also appreciated how the chicken was marinated and cut as they do in Japan. They also have the three major kinds of Ramen (Shoyu, Miso, and Tonkutsu). This place looks far from fancy, but its great to stop by for a nice authentic meal.

We came here because we wanted to try somewhere none of us had been before and everyone had a fantastic meal. The inside was larger than we expected and very clean. Our entrees included chicken pad Thai, red curry duck, Massaman curry and tofu pad see ew. The portions were large enough for all off to have leftovers even after we had eaten our fill. I wish I had ordered the Massaman curry for myself, but I guess I'll just have to come back for more!

The ingredients always taste and feel very fresh, the proportion of rice to fish is always perfect and it's very easy to eat with chopsticks and doesn't fall apart. This is always my first choice any time I'm in the mood for sushi, the top quality has proven to be very consistent! I would say the Hamachi Nigri and Romantic Roll are probably my favorites, but I really enjoy exploring their menu too since everything is so good. My husband loves the Sweet Potato Roll best (: The service is always great. We are a little more on the shy and quiet side but every time we go, the people there are super kind, friendly, attentive and always have a greeting and a goodbye. It really makes you feel valued. We made sure to order a lot of takeout here during the pandemic, because I don't know what I would do if we ever lost this place.

Ichiban was on my list to visit for a long time. We decided to check out their Titanic boat and…read morecompare it to those we've had at other places. On Sunday around seven, the restaurant was practically empty. Sushi boats typically contain sashimi, nigiri, and at least two special rolls selected by the chef. The Titanic at Ichiban comes with a Christmas Roll (spicy crunchy tuna, avocado, red tobiko) and a Honado Roll (tempura fried roll with spicy tuna, avocado, cream cheese). We asked whether it's possible to have a roll without cream cheese. It turned out we couldn't substitute the Honado Roll. So, we asked just to omit the cream cheese. A while later, our server came back with a proposal: for an extra charge, we could choose any other roll we wanted. By that time, we decided to have the original version of the Honado Roll with cream cheese. So, there was a bit of a hitch right at the start. With the Titanic boat, you choose between a miso soup or a salad. The soup was too salty but generally tasty. Now, very briefly about the sushi itself. We enjoyed almost everything. The Christmas Roll was very good. The salmon was superb. The fried Honado Roll came without the cream cheese, and I thought it was the least tasty sushi roll I have ever had. The shrimp nigiri were definitely a disappointment as well. Our server was pleasant and tried to be helpful from the beginning. Later, strangely, she came over to our table right in the middle of our conversation, while we were still enjoying our meal, and asked if we needed a container for leftovers. Leftovers?! I immediately thought the restaurant was about to close and that we had overstayed our welcome, but that wasn't the case. She brought us the bill right after that, even though we hadn't asked for it yet. So, for some reason, she simply tried to speed up our exit. I'm sure Ichiban serves very good food (we saw takeouts being prepared), but I won't be going back soon, definitely not for a Titanic. One more thing, and it's definitely a downer. We received twelve pieces of nigiri instead of fourteen. I only noticed it later, while looking through the photos.
