I can't wait to return to Oyshi on Hwy 360 in Grand Prarie; their Sushi is awesome! Too many Sushi restaurants screw up the rice (overcooked, unable to stick together after dipping in soy). OYSHI does their Sushi Rice PERFECTLY. Each pearl of rice has a bit of 'bite' in the starchy center of the grain, while the Sushi Rice sticks together, enabling you to enjoy your Nigiri Sushi bites without the rice disintegrating into individual grains. The Fish on our Sushi was FRESH, sliced to provide generous cuts which yield delicious seafood flavors in each & every bite. The appetizers were awesome, and the Combination Fried Rice was so very tasty. I offer my highest recommendation of OYSHI; they prepare Nigiri Sushi and Sushi Rolls the right way, with perfectly cooked oriental rice and generous cuts of fresh fish. read more

This is one of my favorite spots for sushi and hibachi! The place usually always smells like cleaning solution and the floor has been sticky each and every time we go but the food is amazing and they have a big menu to choose from. This time we ordered the crab Rangoon, takoyaki, jalapeño poppers, chicken bento box, chicken steak and shrimp hibachi, chicken steak and scallops hibachi, and the ahi tower. They don't make the hibachi in front of you - they cook it in the back and bring it to your table. We came here for my birthday. The menu had a good amount of selection, and we had great service. Loved their Oyshi poke bowl. My daughter had the noodles with shrimp, and the flavoring was good. The shrimp sushi was good. I didn't try the oyster fried balls but was told those were good as well. They have really good food and the lunch specials are really good deals! The service depends on who's working and what time you go because one time I came late at night and I think the girls weren't really as aware as they were cleaning and getting ready to close. Oyster was not cleaned prior to grilling. There was sand in every bite. The sauces were tasty but the oysters being over cooked was dry and sandy . We tried the sampler dozen for $45 at foodie land. Came for dinner with a friend on Tuesday and it was soo good. She had been there before, I hadn't, and I'll definitely be back again! Inside they had a great playlist going and the booths are nice and comfy. The waitress was really nice as well. The food is what really takes the cake though! The spicy edamame was really good with a nice spicy sauce, the crab rangoons were just okay. I think the sauce for those was a bit too sweet and there wasn't enough filling inside the rangoons, but still good. All the sushi was delicioussss. I spent over $100 and when I saw the portions I was very disappointed. The rolls were very small. The avocados in some of the rolls were past their prime making the roll less tasty. One roll (crunch and munch roll) had ginger when it wasn't listed in the ingredients (also in allergic). Most bang for your buck there- the rice is simple but great, and the noodles are sweet sticky deliciousness! The tuna fantastic roll is absolutely the best item on the menu. And the rainbow roll was incredible, I think those two are my go to's from now on My husband got the alligator and the spider roll, and loved them both. But his favorite was the spider roll! In 2020 I used to work at the Home Depot next to the location, I would always walk to the many restaurants in the area but oyshi always stood out. Pros: - The customer service was amazing! They had a k-pop (Twice) event going on when we went, so there different activities you can do as well as some freebies you can get. Our waiter was super sweet and accommodating to us while absolutely slaying the the twice dances. - Our food came out relatively quick and was reasonably priced. We enjoyed pretty much every dish we ordered! Cons: - I would say the only thing that I didn't necessarily enjoy was the eel and cucumber roll. I had originally decided to order just the plain eel (no cucumber or avocado) roll but decided to do the eel and cucumber roll; which was a mistake for someone who hates cucumber . There were so much cucumber in the roll, way more than the eel. My friend and I agreed that there was way too much cucumber in it for it to be enjoyed. This place has some great hibachi chicken and steak. They don't cook it in front of you like a normal hibachi place, but it is so good. Veggies are great and it comes with some yummy fried rice and a salad. We usually go here for lunch and it is never really that busy. You can get in and out pretty quickly. Waitresses are attentive and get your food out quickly. They also have some good sushi and pan fried dumplings. Bathrooms could use some updating. They have canned sodas, which isn't a big deal for me...but its not free refills. read more

Went here for dinner with friends and was very impressed. It was kinda of hidden in a strip mall but the inside was clean and the staff were very friendly. We started with drinks, they don't have a full bar but had a few sake cocktail options. We got a few different rolls and sashimi, everything was flavorful and tasted fresh. Gyozas are so good! Get them pan fried! Oyshi is currently doing limited seating and doing pick up orders. They have a good mix of sushi, and plates, along with the famous deep fried tempura cheesecake. The staff is very friendly and able to help you with any questions. We tried a couple of Japanese sodas along with pink lemonade. The staff serves in disposable cups for safety. The sodas are in the glass bottles, individually sized. The cuts of fish are very large in comparison to a lot of other restaurants so you definitely won't leave hungry. I rarely finish my meals here. Only down side is the qualit of fish is a 4 out of 5. Needed something quick after getting some cookies from Crumbl and was relatively happy with this spot. Was intrigued by the name as oyshi translating to soooooo delicious/yummy in Japanese so had to try, had to say it wasn't bad at all. Got the spicy Poké bowl combo and sub out the spicy tuna for reg salmon. The only thing I regret was to ask for no extra eel sauce and spicy mayo which was slathered on top of the already seasoned spicy sashimi. A bit too much sauce for me but that's usually what the average American loves so makes sense. Though it didn't have too many other vegetables in the bowl other than cucumber and edamame the quality of the fish was good as far as I could tell, though the sauce might have masked any potential quality issues. The waiting area isn't comfortable, just some chairs in an awkward spot where people eating there just stare at u. When I got home the food was really sub par. We always have a craving for some appetizing sushi and so thankful we finally have a delicious option with Oyshi. For appetizers you can't go wrong with the rock shrimp and pan seared dumplings. The tuna tataki is also a new staple on our dining list when eat here if your okay with raw. This place not only has sushi, hibachi, bento box, and poke bowls are also on the menu. They do not have the hibachi chefs who cook in front of you, however the taste of the fried rice is equally delicious. The lynn park roll was tasty with shrimp tempura, crab, avocado and mango.
