    Chicken and shrimp hibachi
    Lori D.

Well I was looking for a good hibachi to replace my beloved Samurai express so I decided to try this one based on all the wonderful reviews. Maybe they are better at sushi or are giving out massive discounts here because I'm not in agreement with these 5 star reviews. I ordered Uber Eats and the food was packaged well, better than we needed it to be for hibachi to go. The food however, left more to be desired. I ordered the chicken and shrimp hibachi. The chicken was in all of these micro pieces like it was supposed to be mince meat or something. I've never seen chicken that small even in a taco. Then I agree with another review that it didn't taste grilled like hibachi. It was like it was just kind of sautéed in a pot and then covered with a teriyaki sauce, which I wasn't a fan of at all. I don't like the hibachi to have any sauces on it. It should be in like a dry and just seasoned meat. The shrimp tasted OK, but they didn't seem like they had been grilled or hibachi at all. The vegetables were like they came out of a bag and just were soft and covered with the same sauce. The onions even seemed like they had never touched any sort of fire or hot grill ever. The sauces weren't bad but the food just wasn't good enough to couple with a sauce. The rice was really packed into the container and it was more chewy then actually one that had been on a hibachi as well. One thing about the rice was that it lacked kind of taste or salt so I did add a little soy sauce while eating it to see if that would help but I probably just needed to put more salt. So overall this wasn't horrible, but I don't really understand all of the positive reviews because the one where I agreed with most was a one star. I'm not going to go there because it was edible. It just was more like a TV dinner type of hibachi. So again, not something I would patronize again even if it was the only restaurant on the street because it was not a quality experience worth $40.

This is the best world fried rice

This is the world best fried rice. This is the world best fried rice. I will repeat what I just said. This is the world best fried rice the world best fried rice. There's no excuse like this is the best world fried rice in the best thing about this rice is the next day it tastes 20,000 times better than the first time you got it that's how you know. The food is amazing the customer service it's amazing a little bit questionable sometimes but I'm in love with everything. The fried rice is amazing like the fact that if you don't want a salad, add something can I get more rice they will give it to you.

Our first time there. Restaurant was clean, ambiance was peaceful and comfortable, service was superb. The soup was very flavorful, house salad was fresh, lettuce was crispy cold with their homemade dressing. I enjoyed the hibachi steak. The meat was cooked to perfection, the vegetables were firm and not soggy, the fried rice was plentiful and very good. I highly recommend this establishment. They have a large selection of sushi rolls which we will try next time.

Service was timely, the place is simple & clean. The New Orleans, caterpillar, & aloha rolls were excellent, but the shrimp lo mein was just average, & the portion was on the smaller side. We didn't think the New Orleans rolls were spicy at all, although it's noted to be spicy. All 3 specialty rolls are otherwise pretty big & flavorful. It's nice to have the crunch from the fried ingredients in combination with the sticky rice & creamy avocado slices. I ordered the 3-roll combo to go. These are much smaller rolls than the specialty rolls. The eel & Philly rolls were great, but the spicy salmon was a bit fishy. Minus one star for the so-so lo mein & not-the-best spicy salmon rolls.

An unusual setup for sushi and hibachi: it seems to be more about you enjoying your company and the food and less about putting on a show of the food prep and cooking. We started with Tempura Shrimp and veggies, then 4 house special sushi rolls. Very tasty. Service was great, and they timed the food well so we never felt rushed. Love the well displayed A rating on the wall from Arlington Inspections!

If you're looking for hibachi without the loud atmosphere and show, I'd definitely suggest checking out Shogun. It's a smaller restaurant with a calm ambiance. They do not have a soda fountain, so plan for bottled drinks or water. The food is good, though my chicken was slightly over cooked. My husband ordered the sweet and sour chicken, which was very good. The food came out quickly and our server was very attentive. I'm sure we'll be back!

It was a good experience Small establishment. We ate at the dining room tables up front, but did not see any Habachi type tables in the place. Also, there is no sushi bar to sit at. We decided to order hot green tea, which came with a cup of hot water and tea bags... Yeah, kinda took away from the experience. To the Nagiri rolls. Chicken Tempura roll... Weird, chicken finger in a Nagiri roll, with cucumber and rice. Really fat rolls so be aware Shrimp Tempura roll was as expected, fried shrimp in with cucumber and rice , also a fat roll Spicy Salmon roll...minced salmon with a hot sauce, nice Philly roll, salmon with cream cheese and cucumber... Not my cup of tea Eel and Avocado roll, with a sweet sauce and cucumber. Very nice. Would I go back, no, there are other places in the area that will have a better atmosphere and options for seating.

Cute little place with amazing service. Very attentive to us and also the prices for what you get aren't that bad. I got the Sashimi Regular and I was delighted! You won't regret.

Can't wait to come back here! All of our food was fresh and delicious. The employees were very kind as well. This restaurant is very much a chill vibe, it's a bit small so I wouldn't bring a big group.

I really love this restaurant! I've been coming here since it opens, almost every month. I love that they're so welcoming, and that there sashimi so fresh. And they didn't use me to different kinds of sashimi I have not tried before. And Some of them are my favorites. I love there too and one roll in there freshwater eel. And their little sesame seed balls. Highly recommend this place. By the way the hibachi is not an entertainment thing, it's just a really good food thing. And they have super large portions. Very tasty

I am obsessed with this fairly new establishment! It was the best hibachi that I have had in a long time. On their rice I put garlic butter, yum yum & teriyaki, it was incredible! They have great lunch specials so definitely go during the week. The people working were kind and super helpful with recommendations. Everything they picked for us to try was incredible.

I was pumped because not many places around Mansfield/Arlington seem to offer it and it really enhanced the experience of sushi. Unfortunately, I paid 1.99 for the fresh wasabi and received the regular wasabi paste.. which was fine, but usually that's standard at sushi places and not extra. I really was set to enjoy the rougher cut wasabi. Otherwise, I did order two California rolls for my kid and I, garlic Cajun edamame, pork gyoza and another roll (it had shrimp tempura and eel, but I can't remember the name). It was my first time trying the eel roll and I thought it was good. The California rolls were solid and my son enjoyed the gyoza potstickers. We came in on a Saturday around 3pm and the place was totally empty, but the staff was very nice and courteous when we entered to pick up our order. It took no time to put together and we enjoyed our sushi at home minus the fresh wasabi. It was also very clean in there. The quest is still on to find a place with the wasabi, but this was a nice place to stop! Thank you to the staff for the kindness.

Even down to the edamame. I chopped that experience up to the fact that I had ordered online. Fast forward to today, my family and I go in person so I'm expecting much more, and we order like half the menu (everything except the ramen). I'm not kidding when I say the food was awful, even down to the miso soup, which I spit out. The sushi I ordered I couldn't even eat. It's a shame bc the place is really cute and they have a nice bar area but the taste of the food is literally not digestible.

Unfortunately, the majority of the restaurant is a wide open high ceilinged space made up of tables and chairs. A bar area with two registers either side, line one wall, and booths with chairs on the aisle, line the other. The "music" is radio. It's loud and much of it is garbled over the noise. The first time we were there it was near closing and I asked to please turn it down as we were the only people left. Thankfully they did. This visit there were two birthdays going on and a full noisy house at dinner time. We were in the middle of things at a table. I can say, the prices are moderate and the food is generally good. I see why everyone is there on a Thursday. It's just not my ideal dining experience. Our waiter was terrific and the service was spot on. Their menu is expansive. We first ordered the Spicy Tuna Roll as an appetizer. They make the BEST spicy tuna rolls. Spicy and big, with a large portion of spicy tuna in every bite. EVERY bite. The roll is perfect. Fantastic! I always want Sashimi so I ordered the dinner with 3pcs each of Tuna, Salmon, Yellow Tail, White Tuna, and Red Snapper. It's served with miso soup and a salad. ($26.95) The miso soup is delicious. I usually sip on it as I eat the sashimi. The salad is lettuce and 1 grape tomato but there's lots of that wonderful dressing. They give you shaved daikon in every corner of the sashimi platter and I put some in my leftover dressing in the salad bowl. Crunchy yummy textural goodness for an additional palate cleanser. So good! The rest goes in my soup. None of it goes to waste. I love daikon! The platter itself was good quality except for the salmon which was not firm. Flimsy, it tasted alright but was not particularly unctuous and fell apart when you picked it up with the chopsticks. But overall, I enjoyed the platter and the other fish was very good. My spouse always orders chicken teriyaki. It's a risk. He was disappointed this time with partially charred dry chicken. His dinner was served with Hibachi vegetables and he substituted fried rice for an additional $2.50. It was also served with the miso soup and a salad ($15.95). My husband will not complain to me until the meal is over because he knows I WILL complain for him. But he left most of the chicken so I asked him. *sigh* The restrooms were large, clean and adequately supplied. The parking is shopping center parking. The service does not disappoint. It's unfortunate that some other aspects of quality do.

This completely threw me off. They brought out disposable wooden chopsticks that were already separated and looked dirty and worn. Whether they had actually been used or not, that's exactly the impression they gave. When you're about to tuck into raw fish, that's not the first impression you want. 2. Service. Matt Simmons enjoys a beer, and I suffer from a rare condition where every beer tastes suspiciously like another one. Sadly, my research was cut short. The waiter never came back to ask if I wanted another drink or even check on the table. 3. The prices. The $60 Love Boat is fair enough for the amount of food you get. Charging $18 for a bloody rainbow roll, though, is reaching, especially when the service and attention to detail don't justify premium prices. The pros: 1. Credit where it's due, the fish itself was fresh. The tuna and salmon sashimi were the highlights. 2. The Love Boat presentation looks brilliant when it arrives and makes for a great centrepiece. 3. Portions were generous, so nobody left hungry. Unfortunately, sushi is built on trust. If the very first thing placed in front of me looks unhygienic, it immediately puts me on edge. Add in inattentive service and prices that belong in a much better restaurant, and it's difficult to recommend.

Right off the bat we were greeted by a friendly worker. He looked like he was alone, and the place was quiet. The main plates on the sushi belt were 3.95, and we both had a couple of plates. The food was good; I have no complaints on that part. However, when we ordered on the tablet for specific plates, we found ourselves waiting way too long between orders. It took us about 10 minutes for one of my plates only, and then another 10 minutes for the rest of the plates. We also kept eye on the conveyor belt, but we noticed it was scarce with plates.
