This place has officially become our family's weekly go to. I almost always order the orange chicken with fried rice and hibachi soup, and if I'm feeling up to it I'll throw in some dumplings too. The hibachi chicken lunch portion is also so good and always hits the spot. What keeps us coming back is how fresh and consistent everything is. Well I was looking for a good hibachi to replace my beloved Samurai express so I decided to try this one based on all the wonderful reviews. Maybe they are better at sushi or are giving out massive discounts here because I'm not in agreement with these 5 star reviews. I ordered Uber Eats and the food was packaged well, better than we needed it to be for hibachi to go. The food however, left more to be desired. I ordered the chicken and shrimp hibachi. The chicken was in all of these micro pieces like it was supposed to be mince meat or something. I've never seen chicken that small even in a taco. Then I agree with another review that it didn't taste grilled like hibachi. It was like it was just kind of sautéed in a pot and then covered with a teriyaki sauce, which I wasn't a fan of at all. I don't like the hibachi to have any sauces on it. It should be in like a dry and just seasoned meat. The shrimp tasted OK, but they didn't seem like they had been grilled or hibachi at all. The vegetables were like they came out of a bag and just were soft and covered with the same sauce. The onions even seemed like they had never touched any sort of fire or hot grill ever. The sauces weren't bad but the food just wasn't good enough to couple with a sauce. The rice was really packed into the container and it was more chewy then actually one that had been on a hibachi as well. One thing about the rice was that it lacked kind of taste or salt so I did add a little soy sauce while eating it to see if that would help but I probably just needed to put more salt. So overall this wasn't horrible, but I don't really understand all of the positive reviews because the one where I agreed with most was a one star. I'm not going to go there because it was edible. It just was more like a TV dinner type of hibachi. So again, not something I would patronize again even if it was the only restaurant on the street because it was not a quality experience worth $40. read more

Service was timely, the place is simple & clean. The New Orleans, caterpillar, & aloha rolls were excellent, but the shrimp lo mein was just average, & the portion was on the smaller side. We didn't think the New Orleans rolls were spicy at all, although it's noted to be spicy. All 3 specialty rolls are otherwise pretty big & flavorful. It's nice to have the crunch from the fried ingredients in combination with the sticky rice & creamy avocado slices. I ordered the 3-roll combo to go. These are much smaller rolls than the specialty rolls. The eel & Philly rolls were great, but the spicy salmon was a bit fishy. I got the Tuna, salmon and yellowtail sashimi. All were wonderful. The tuna was the best I've had in a while. Watched them cut my order and plate it. They were very nice. So was just looking to find something quick to eat on the way back into Dallas. Let's start with the ambiance so I expected a pretty big rest but was surprised by a small little family style hibachi and sushi restaurant. Very friendly people, peaceful and pleasant. I really love this restaurant! I've been coming here since it opens, almost every month. I love that they're so welcoming, and that there sashimi so fresh. And they didn't use me to different kinds of sashimi I have not tried before. And Some of them are my favorites. I love there too and one roll in there freshwater eel. I was told by a friend that usually get this restaurant delivered that it could possibly be the best sushi she's had. But i wanted to go ahead and dine in while I was in Mansfield today. Now first off I want to commend them on the cleanliness of the establishment from the restroom, which smelled amazing and also was very clean. Our server greeted us and took care of us immediately. I was especially impressed with how quickly our food came out I order the hibachi chicken and steak and it was simply cooked amazingly and succulent. Even through the course of eating my meal my food never got cold and this was the first time this has happened. Granted, it was during one of our recent "snow days", but most of the serving ware was plastic or styrofoam, the salad was over-saturated with dressing and the hibachi was just average tasting. Given that the weather may have been a factor and assuming that they may have been forced to work with what they had (lack of a dishwasher and such), we will be returning to try again. First time in. It was a Saturday for lunch and no one was in there yet so the service was quick. We tried the lunch special which was 9pcs salmon sashimi with a California roll and miso soup and a salad. The miso soup was good. It didn't have the little chunks of tofu that I like but it was still good. I loved the dressing for the salad-a house dressing with ginger-yum. They did oversaturate the lettuce with the dressing but it was so good I didn't mind. I probably would have drank it if it was offered. Now for the sushi. I thought it was just okay. The sashimi was average and the California roll wasn't my favorite. BUT the saving grace of the meal was the VOLCANO ROLL. It was little bites of spicy heaven topped with crunchy tempura. 10/10 would recommend the volcano roll. Five stars. Two thumbs up. read more

First time trying this place and the food was okay - reasonably priced. I did order sushi and habachi for take out. Perhaps the dine experience would be better. The sushi was placed on top of the habachi dinner with no cardboard or other barrier so the sushi was more than warm. The steak habichi was over cooked and I requested it medium. The most concerning part was that I asked to do a split tender when I payed and I was told one of my cards was declined. I said that could be possible - more than enough funds. I proceeded to have her another card as I had just gotten back from traveling so thought maybe it was something with my bank. While they proceeded to charge my 3rd card- I see that the charge appeared on the chase app- i was double charged. They seemed to be rushed but were not busy. I was told the charge should be reversed in a couple of days and it's has not been. They are closed today but will be sure to call tomorrow to follow up. Oh my goodness! I have been eyeing this restaurant since they were still under construction. The restaurant just had there grand opening a day ago and I am so glad that there is a new sushi restaurant in the area. Their specials rolls are very unique and all sound amazing. I had the New Orleans roll. They have other options including: regular standard rolls, a plethora of appetizers, standard soups/ salads and specialty rolls that don't include actual raw fish. I have been to many sushi places in the Arlington area, but the options they have on the menu are really refreshing and I will gladly come back to try more of their rolls and the hibachi menu!
