Upon walking in, I was greeted by Amy whom I selected to have my appointment with. We started off in a room for scalp analysis to determine which treatment would be best (very humbling experience seeing your scalp up close and personal). After the quick analysis (takes no more than 2-3 minutes), Amy then walked me over to a dimly lit room with soft music playing in the background and lights that resembled waves - very relaxing vibe. You're provided with a towel to replace your top and lay down. The entire experience was relaxing and soothing from the upper body massage to scalp treatment/washes. If you're a fan of getting your hair washed at a salon, this is going to be a treat! I really wanted to like this place but I had to be honest with myself and with my review and hopefully be of help to others in their uncertainty. I made an appointment for their signature scalp service. A portion of the service was to be paid up front in order to secure the appointment. I think it was twenty percent. I'm skeptical of businesses requiring me to pay beforehand. I consider it an unnecessary step beyond a credit card hold. I know people flake but since I'm not one of them, it's frustrating. Upon my arrival, I underwent an in depth scalp analysis. It was at this time I was trying to examine the products used during treatment. For all I know there could be snake oil in the shampoo containers. Products appear to be from Korea but there was no indication of their authenticity. The scalp therapist was nice but used a tool at the tail end of the treatment that was questionable. It felt like a rubber scrubbing brush and it appeared to have tugged on my scalp too forcefully and I was paranoid that it actually ripped some hair out. All this to say I felt mildly rejuvenated at the end, but at the expense of being uncomfortable. I was skeptical the entire time which made my visit less enjoyable. First of all the ambiance is such a soothing vibe with relaxing music in the background. Then you are taken into a room where they review your scalp to see what the works will be. After you are taken into a room where you remove the top portion wrapped in a towel, you lie down on a head rest with holes ( for the water). This place is a gem. I decided to treat myself for Valentine's Day and book a scalp treatment / facial. I booked the problematic scalp treatment and the treatment was a little over an hour. And let me tell you, it was magical. You are in your own dimly lit room with mood lighting and very faint music. You're given a body towel so they can massage your shoulders and neck without getting product/ water on your clothes. The products all smelled so good. Very light and flowery / a bit fruity. Now I cannot explain what they did because I was so zoned out. The whole experience was so relaxing. I came in at the same time as another woman and she sort of explained the after feeling best. The actual treatment was relaxing and the employees who worked on us were kind and attentive. They did a great job and made the experience comfortable. However, the person in charge lady with short hair made the visit uncomfortable. From the moment we walked in, we felt judged by the way we were looked at and treated. We went with no make up relaxed clothes.It changed the atmosphere and took away from what could have been a really great experience. Made an appointment for me and my mom today for their grand opening. They had 50% off their basic service so thought it would be a great way to see what they offered. The spa is clean, modern, and welcoming. They first start you off with scalp evaluation then gave me and option of sitting in a chair that reclines and massages or a flat massage table. (I opted for the chair since I'm pregnant and my mom wanted the table so she could fully relax). The chair was very comfortable and it actually did lay me back almost completely with my legs elevated slightly. I didn't use the massage function but it would be an added benefit if someone wanted that. Next she started with a head massage using product/oil followed by a real nice shoulder massage. Once that was done is when the hair washing magic starts. You know when you're at the salon and they wash your hair and you don't want it to stop... Yeap that's pretty much what it was for what seemed like heavenly lifetime. She then cleaned off my shoulders with a hot towel and showed me my scalp again to see how clean it got!! She then put product in my hair (toner, moisturizer, oil on the ends) and blow dried my hair for a bit until it felt mostly dry to touch. I usually freak out when salons put so much product in my hair because I have straight thick oily Asian hair so I was anticipating I may have to wash my hair again tonight but surprisingly my hair is not greasy or oily! I feels soft, fluffy, and truly magical. It also smells good! They didn't try to sell any product to me afterwards which was also a plus. I would definitely come back and they have decent package deals too!! I'm so glad to have a place like this so close to my house!! One thing I wish they did was put a towel around my eyes (like salons do) because they did accidentally get water and a little product on my face. Not a deal breaker though! read more

Overall, my session was okay this time around. I've been here the last two times and those experiences were great, but today felt a little rushed maybe because of the holiday season. Very friendly service. I really loved when they did the consultation by looking at your scalp under a microscope. The spa service was relaxing. They massage your scalp, shoulders, and neck which I found relaxing.o They were running a little behind, which was fine for me. It didn't bother me to start a little later, but it was bothersome that the service was cut 17 minutes short and felt rushed at the end because three clients walked in. The end felt a little rushed. I was under the impression that we would get our hair blow dried. But my hair was damp when leaving because the therapists were running behind I think as time goes on, scheduling and timing issues will be resolved. read more
