I always get the gf vegetable fried rice and it usually comes out amazing with delicious fresh veggies and a good amount of broccoli, but tonight it was inedible. Eventually, a dark-haired woman with stylish glasses and spectacular eyebrows helped him out. Both had gentle auras. Good people, I'm sure. You have a big restaurant, and perhaps you are understaffed. If you prioritize the capabilities and physical health of your employees, your customers with benefit greatly. Seating customers as quickly as possible is not beneficial if it leads to one server being quadruple sat. That's a dick move. Good job, Tyler. You're not a dick. P.S. I enjoy visiting P. F. Chang's at the Fayette Mall for Chinese food. The lettuce wraps are great! I have also enjoyed the egg rolls, sushi, egg drop soup, beef and broccoli, and shrimp lo mein on different occasions. One thing I tried there that I really did not like was the crab wontons (and I love good crab Rangoon!). We typically enjoy good service and good food at P. F. Chang's., and I highly recommend joining the loyalty program as they frequently send out coupons for free items. read more

I'm not a big fan of chain restaurants, but PF Chang's is one of my exceptions. The food doesn't disappoint. We started with the Magolian Potstickers and the spicy chicken noodle soup. The soup is served in a large bowl and we had plenty to bring home. Loved the cilantro in the soup and it's not very spicy. The Potstickers were ok, but I wouldn't order them again. I had the Ahi Poke Bowl, which was delicious. Ahi, red onion, seaweed, avocado, and cucumber. It also came with mango, which I removed and some weird wontons. The wontons were made with some weird spice; they would have been better left plain. The ahi bowl was served with a weird sauce, but I used a wasabi soy sauce mixture that I normally use on sushi. For dessert we shared the Banana Spring Rolls. They were delicious and the best looking dessert on the menu. read more

Ok so we ordered the surf and turf. It includes the fillet, shrimp and lobster it includes asparagus, mushrooms and rustic potatoes and is covered in garlic glaze over a bed of rice. Nice meal at PFChangs. But had to wait about 15 minutes for a server to bring drinks and take our orders. And we only had an hour to eat when we arrived to drive to another appointment. So the slow response was a bummer. But the waiter was then quick in bringing our meals. Wife had the Orange Chicken. It was very tasty, but the chicken breading was a little mushy and not crisp to the bite. My Sweet & Sour Chicken was excellent. As was the fried rice. The Spring Rolls were light and crispy with a good dipping sauce. The waiter returned quickly with the check and we got out of there in 45 minutes, and very satisfied. Plenty for take-home too. This is definitely one of my favorite places to eat at the mall. The ambience is casual and chic. With a mixture of tables and booths there's a great mixture for everyone. I'm a perpetual "two for a booth please" when I great the hostess and she assured us it would only be a few moments for a table. We didn't wait long before we were buzzed for our booth. Our server was very attentive and was quick to our table to get our waters and bottle of wine selections. We opted for a Chardonnay which paired nicely with dinner. We started out with the bang bang shrimp. Always a great choice. Perfect amount of spice and flavor. My boyfriend and I never have the same taste hardly when we're out to eat so we each opted for our own dish. Their selections are family style and while they say that on the menu I always seem to forget. I went with the Chang's Spicy Chicken which is their rendition on general tsos chicken. It came with your choice side of white or brown rice. I told her to upgrade me to the fried rice but after she told me it was a 5.50 charge I told her white rice. The food came out great but I was given brown instead of white rice so I opted to go ahead and change it to the fried rice even with the up-charge I figured if I had to wait for new rice I'd get the one I wanted. We went here for lunch and the food was delicious. The waitress was a little slow in taking our orders but other than that it was a great lunch. The Orange Chicken I have had at this same restaurant before was crisp, hot, with a very pleasant orange glaze poured over it. The dish today was mushy and pasty. To look at it made you wonder if you wanted to eat it or not. I ate a little bit of it. My husband ate but the entire time was saying I can believe this. He said I will never be back after today. And not once did anyone ask us how our food was! I think they knew what we were served, so theY knew not to ask. My advice is go get something anywhere else. Very expensive for a horrible meal. We get the menu, he proceeds to take our orders by memory. In those orders we asked for ingredients to be taken out. Of course it arrives with the ingredients requested out, in. Proceeds to apologize half-heartedly offers to have it re-made. There was no point in getting it re-made it took forever to come out, so I dug through it to take the ingredients out. He forgets little things, take out boxes, checking in, take out bags, sometimes doesn't even come back, etc. Was not impressed, and what makes this worse is that it's a Monday and completely dead. I have to say, they have made a some rather big changes in their menu (July 3rd 2018). Some very good items are gone from the menu... but I am getting ahead of myself. . . We went in because we had a coupon for .25 cent Lettuce Wrap, normally abut $10.00. We misunderstood the "fine print" and our waiter charged us the full amount - - which he should have. In any event the floor manager, Brian, came to our table to personally tell us why it was not discounted. Guilty as charged! However, he made good on it, and took it off the bill. I have also tried their Chang's Spicy Chicken and that was really good too! This is what we ordered: Surf & Turf (Crisp shrimp and wild-caught lobster, cubed filet mignon, rustic potatoes, asparagus, shiitakes, savory butter glaze) - $23.95. There was absolutely no crisp shrimp, wild-caught lobster, or asparagus, whatsoever. The brown rice has no flavor and was very dry. We were told it would feed 2, easily - NOT! There is no way we will ever go back. UPDATE: the manager contacted us and wants to make it right (I changed it from 1 to 2 stars). This was my girlfriend and I's first time at PF. We were going to get olive garden but decided to try something new. PF was right there so we thought "why not?". We looked it up on yelp to figure dress, price, ect. We only had to wait about five minutes for a table on a Friday night which was busy! After being seated we told our waitress that it was our first time there and she very politely went over the deals and specials on the menu. We chose the 2 for $40 deal ( Best Value). For our $40 we got soup (best hot and sour soup EVER), appetizer, Entree, and desert! The food was perfectly cooked and served at a proper time (not rushed). All the staff were polite and helpful. Wow it's been a while since I had eaten there until recently. My daughter had actually cooked a PF Chang's at home kit and it got my gf in the mood to try in person, Big regret! We got the lettuce wraps for an app and they were decent. For the main course we got the spicy Chang chicken and the Steak. The chix was better in the home kit and the steak was a over cooked but was told it always come out at a med temp even tho they said they can do it a med rare. An this is before it took too long for the volume of the restaurant. Don't do it. Just save the time and money and get a at home kit. The bright side was the server was present anytime I needed a refill and was pleasant to chat w(hence the extra star). I'll never go back. read more

It wasn't as spicy as I had hoped (but then again, I am a girl who likes habaneros LOL). It was very good, and there was so much food that I had to portion out the rest and save it for later. First visit to this Lexington location and it was all in all a good venture. Table for 6 1/2 was seated promptly at our reservation time and our server was friendly and helpful. I asked for chicken broth and rice for a starter as I am Gluten Free. Much to my delight they said the broth was no charge. I ordered off the Gluten Free menu and decided on Pad Thai it was the best gluten free meal I have ever eaten at a restaurant. Hats off for the quality and effort! Others had Lo Meins Fried Rice Beef with Broccoli and soups chicken lettuce wraps too. My grandson Jake liked his Chinese Spaghetti as well. Wife adores the Dragon Tea there. Well not my best experience- visited end of December (12/30/19) around 5:30. It was slammed so we sat at the bar. There was 1- bartender (Jocelyn) and she was in charge of the drinks and service at the bar. Took about 10-15mins to get our drinks, then another 20-30 to order food. We didn't get silverware till after they brought out the food. The food took forever- probably close to an hour to come out- getting refills was next to impossible- bc the bartender was bouncing everywhere- and if you needed anything extra- there was definitely going to be a wait. (Jocelyn) did the best she could- but it was just super busy and definitely understaffed. We spend over $100 here and close to 3/hrs. I'd come back and give it a second chance but that visit was not great. We ordered 2- apps / 3- meals / 2 adult beverages / and a desert to go. read more

Never a disappointment at the Changs. The atmosphere is one if the best in town and the food us just as good. I've tried something different everytime and like it all. The lettuce wraps are a great appetizer. The price is not the cheapest, but worth it in my opinion. I would recommend this for a date night or special occasion.
