I came in here about a week ago and I was really disappointed. I spent $50 on food and tip for my to-go order and we only got 3 items. The worst part is that I called ahead and they said my food would be ready in 15 minutes and when we got there we had to wait 45 minutes. My son took me out to lunch, we forgot it was college graduation weekend. Wait was not long. Our server Journey was amazing. It's been awhile since we were at a PF Changs but it was always flavorful and large potions. Not last night. I give the food a 0.5 and our waitress, Cassie, a 5.0. She was the only bright light in a blah dinner. We had calamari, beef and broccoli, fried rice and pork lomein. The pork was dried out. The beef looked like it had been cooked ahead of time and reheated. The calamari came very greasy and many pieces were stuck together. All dishes lacked flavor. With that said, the customer service at the Lubbock location is very good and the restaurant is clean and pleasant. Visited this restaurant after a day around Lubbock on a Saturday afternoon around 5pm and needless to say we arrived at a great time. We were immediately seated and given our menus. The waitress was very attentive and catered to our needs without hesitation. Our main entrees were the Surf n Turf and the Spicy Chicken both of which were prepared freshly and the noodles were very moist and juicy made for an exceptional entree. Every time I come in server is very kind, food is delicious, and it is apparent that management is hardworking. The food here is good. My wife and I have been vegetarians for about three months now. My Ma Po Tofu was delicious, with a good spicy sauce and fresh broccoli. The spring rolls were nice and crunchy. Having said that, there were absolutely some disappointments. The service was friendly enough but very slow. They forgot and had to be reminded to bring the spring rolls. He was kindly to apologize and give me a new clean one. However it was unfortunate for my husband who had already drank out of his glass cup without a straw. It was a cold beer glass so obviously he wouldn't think to use a straw. Since we paid our check and were ready to leave... I noticed his cup had a smudge greasy looking lipgloss. I asked if he was wearing chapstick he said no and I showed him the smudge on the opposite side of the rim he was drinking from. We let our waiter know, he seemed fairly new and was nervous. He apologized continuously. We didn't push anything further than to ask that they wash their dishes a couple of times and make sure their clean before they serve using them.
