We took our daughter out for a birthday shopping trip at the Natick Mall. Get choice of P.F. Chang's for lunch. This was our first time at this location- she and my husband had been to the ones in Boston and Providence. This location was nicely appointed - we were seated immediately and our server Ryan was very friendly. I started with a Mai Tai and my daughter had a Sparkling Blossom and the husband designated driver enjoyed his coke! For eats we shared the crab wontons and the entrees of Chicken Pad Thai, Kung Pao Shrimp and Hokkien Street Noodles. All were hot, fresh and flavorful. Portions are very generous. Ryan was right on point and added a nice sense of fun in his presentation. We enjoyed the lunch and would recommend this location. read more

Had Dinner here yesterday - Sunday Night at 7:00 PM EST - November 17, 2019. While it was just lightly snowing, less than 1/10th of an Inch Accumulation, this location had just a few patrons, probably about 25% to 30% occupied at the time of dining. The Staff here is pretty nice and kind and friendly and young and that was appreciated. This location is like other P.F. Chang's, fairly clean and well kept in a very nice upscale, trendy and modern mall. The wait time once the order was placed should have been the normal 15 to 20 minutes time period. It was not. It was about 35 to 40 minutes, an EXCESSIVE WAIT TIME, based on how many people where dining here and the time and day. The food was a mix of good and bad. The Mongolian Beef was GREAT, as usual. The Chang's Spicy Chicken just did not taste very good. The Brown Rice and The White Rice were not really hot in temperature, tasted old and was not pleasant to consume. We would probably not want to return to this location if the wait time and poor quality of food is served again. The reasons for the above are probably as noted: On the way out and exiting this location, we asked one of the Wait Staff what the problem and issue was. The Wait Staff Member advised that quite a few Kitchen Staff failed to show up for work today/tonight. Well, that probably explains the break down in the Kitchen as to lack of quality and excessive time waiting for our meal. Also, the Wait Staff Member stated that quite a few other patrons had complained about the excessive wait time that they had experienced which comes as no surprise to us for failure of this location to deliver according to Regular and Normal P.F. Chang's Standards. We would appreciate the Proprietor - Ingrid Morillo - getting back to us ASAP on why the visit went the way it did and what can be done to insure that if we return to this location that the issues will be corrected and that we will not experience them again. read more

We were seated quickly but it took forever for our server to come and take drink orders, by that time we were ready with our food order so we gave that. He brought our drinks which were terrible. My food arrived before the appetizer arrived, and then the appetizer was literally dropped on our table by some unknown person. Shortly after, hubby's food arrived. We had to ask for water as it was never offered or just brought out. For an empty restaurant, the floor had trash on it and the music was too loud. Not good. Had chicken lettuce wraps which are a signature dish there and they were delicious. Everything else we ordered was ...not good. Fried rice tasted weird and was really greasy. Salt and pepper shrimp not good. Everything we ordered was ...not good. Even the maki rolls we ordered were not good. Luckily we had a gift certificate that covered most of what we ordered because the meal was not worth the $160 price tag. This place offers a variety of Asian-inspired dishes. Stopped by here for dinner and had the Tuna Tataki and Chicken Fried Rice. Overall, the food was alright and the prices weren't bad at all. The food tasted decent but wasn't spectacular and memorable. Service was okay. The food came out fast. I noticed a strand of hair on my glass of water. I was hoping it was my own, but the hair seemed too thick so it was most likely the waiter's (he had long dark hair). We stop a manager he goes "yup one second" and doesn't even stop, just keeps walking. When our food gets delivered to the table the runner puts the food at the edge of the table in a pile and goes "all set?" Don't you usually get your meals placed in front of you? What the heck has happened to PF Chang's? I've eaten at this chain in California, Florida, and here in the Boston area and I have never been disappointed by their food until tonight. This will go down as one of the single worst meals I have ever had at any restaurant ever. Here is my review of the individual dishes... 1. Hot and Sour Soup - I love Hot and Sour soup. I don't care if it is not authentic Chinese food, when done well it is second only to Tom Kah Gai as the best soup in the world. This stuff they served us at PF Chang's, however, we not apparently Hot and Sour soup and it was easily the blandest soup I have ever had. It was not particularly BAD, but rather was just devoid of any taste whatsoever that could remotely be confused with either "hot" or "sour". They need to change the name on it to be Bland and Bland Soup, it's so damn bland it needs to be mentioned twice. 2. Pork Potstickers - also a big yawner and bland. Fancy presentation (somewhat) but who cares if there's no interesting taste in the food. God, this stuff is boring! 3. Crab Rangoon - The sauce was too sweet to be mistaken for anything other than liquid sugar, and the rangoon itself? Very forgettable... 4. Chicken Pad Thai - Uggh, I didn't want my wife to order this. I love Pad Thai when done right but there was not a single redeeming quality I can mention about this dish. The entire thing was overcooked, including the noodles and the veggie strips (hmmm, nothing like nice tender overcooked carrot strips with absolutely no crunch in them!), and I'm not sure I detected a single piece of chicken in the dish. 5. Mongolian Beef - Passable, not terribly crispy, pan wasn't hot enough, but at least they didn't totally embarrass themselves on this signature dish. 6. Chang's Spicy Chicken - Not sure I got the name right, but who cares, just promise me you'll hide the sugar bowl from the "chef", or whoever is making the food back there. I don't know what to call this food anymore. It's certainly not Chinese, hell it's not even American-ized Chinese food. It's not even bad food with an Asian flair to it. I guess it's just bad food. If you're old enough and lived somewhere other than a big city or California and grew up during the 70's, you can remember going to get pseudo-Asian food at the local "kind of Asian, kind of Polynesian, why can't we still use the word 'Oriental' restaurant". Back then you thought it was authentic and edgy, and it wasn't but the flavors you encountered were new and different than what you were used to. Now you sit back and remember those times and vow you'd never go into that kind of place again. THAT is the kind of restaurant PF Chang's has turned into. I will never go back to this PF Chang location and I'm not sure I'll ever go back to ANY PF Chang restaurant. read more

Here's my problem with PF Chang's. It's way too overpriced. Yes, the food is somewhat decent. The chicken tastes fresh and the dishes are usually done well. But, for the price and the portion you get, it's not worth it. I got the lunch deal for $10 bucks one day with sweet and sour chicken and soup. When I opened the container, I literally thought that someone had eaten half my portion (picture posted). For a small container of soup, and half a portion of entree, I felt like I was being ripped off. The next time I got the full entree of spicy chicken. Paid $15 and all i got was about 7-8 small pieces of chicken with a few veggies. Again, the food tasted fine, really oily. However, way overpriced. It's probably because it's a chain, but it doesn't mean that they get the right to rip people off. Overall, it's not worth the money. read more

I've eaten at P.F. Chang's before - both this location and the one in Downtown Boston - and have never REALLY understood the hype. It's decent food, the decor is fun, but it's expensive and honestly, I walk away every time saying "meh." Recently, we were ordering in food with our friends and their 2 little kids. They suggested P.F. Chang's and I thought "well, the kids like it and are picky, so let's try it." I called in the order and our friend picked it up and immediately we hit Strike One: Although the person who took the order was AWESOME and read everything back perfectly (and even looked at our friends' previous order and asked if we wanted items they had previously ordered), the chefs messed up TWO of the meals. They both specially had 2 items left off and both items got put on. They fixed it, and apparently gave us 1 entree for free (bonus point for that). We sat down to eat and the friend who had picked up the order realized that, even though the hostess had set the 3-pack of sauces down next to the order, she did not pack it. Strike Two. Strike Three, for me, came when I looked at the portion sizes (I was prepared, given some of the photos of takeout food on here). For the amount of money we paid, there should have been way more food in those containers. Strike Four was when I tried my husband's Sesame Chicken, which was dry and not very flavorful... Positives: the dumplings are decent and I like the dipping sauce. The rice comes free with each entree. Overall: no more P.F. Chang's for me. We had gotten Chinese takeout from a local place the week or 2 prior to this and it was not only WAY cheaper, but we got a LOT more food and it was way more flavorful and tastier. Sorry, P.F. Last minute birthday dinner for 9. Off to a bad start with a rude person at the desk who called the hostess , but when the hostess found us and seated us without difficulty. Josh, our waiter introduced himself, and was mainly responsible for us having a great evening. He single-handedly took drink orders, made suggestions for apps and entrees, cleared the plates and silver after each course, and, on his own, after the kitchen had closed plated us a large slice of cake with a birthday candle. His warm and friendly "can do" attitude, and his detailed knowledge of the menu were a big help. Everything was up to PF Chang's reputation. The calamari was perfectly fried, as were the spring rolls. Dumplings were steamed properly. Everyone in our party complimented the food. Kudos to Josh and the kitchen staff. We'll be back read more

I used to love going to this mall and eating at California Pizza Kitchen but since i introduced my daughter to PF Chang's this is the only place we now eat. We always start with lettuce wraps. We alternate between tofu and chicken, try it meatless i bet you won't even know it's not there. My daughter ALWAYS has chicken lomein without onions or mushrooms, which they almost always serve to her with onions or mushroom and then have to remake it while i wait... wouldn't mind if they would either give us the one they are going to throw away (my husband would eat the leftovers) or take it off the bill... but they don't, then i feel guilty that it was wasted. I usually try something different every time we go in. My favorite meal... yes meal.. is a BOWL of hot and sour soup. They serve it in a soup tureen, it's huge. Eat it as a meal and take home leftovers or ask for enough bowls for everyone at the table and share it. I have had fish, fried with a sauce.. loved it, salmon... very good but a bit to American for eating Chinese. I have had Sweet and sour chicken, peking raviolis, Spring rolls, several spicy dishes.. all are excellent. Lately i have twice ordered the new beef and noodle salad on the menu, it is my new favorite. It's a great summer dish. My long time selection is the Buddha Delight, lots of veggies.. make sure you get the tiny bowl of rice it should come with it but usually it is "forgotten". Today I drank a coconut lemon drop.. OMG, if you like coconut you have to give it a try, it's not frozen (thank God) it was so good. I hate paying as much for a drink as my dinner but it was worth it. With the exception of having a hard time getting dishes right when asking for something custom i have no real complaints. Just to come and ask a few times more if something was needed. Our table was booked for 8:15pm. We were out by 9 30pm ish. Felt a bit rushed for a birthday celebration with a party of 7. The manager came towards our table talking loudly and kept hinting that we should leave. A member of the party commented on him using the F word really loudly several times at the bar behind our table. The service needs to be improved- its easy to do because all that was lacking to take our experience from a 3/5 to a 5/5 was service. Suggestions to management: 1. Do not accept reservations for 8:15pm if you want people out by 9 30pm ish. or say that explicitly during booking. 2. Check on the table more frequently. The server was nice and friendly but was probably over worked. 3. Do not use foul language loudly so guests hear it. Our server was really nice and understanding and advised it was a problem in the bar and on the restaurant floor. Wow, I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed myself! Since I've changed over to eating a vegan diet I've come across many places that I wouldn't have gone to before and this is one of them. I went with a friend for some girl time and she was up for trying out the food. Our waitress was so welcoming. She was easy going, professional, fast and personable. She asked us if we were first time visitors and since we were she would have her manager come over to greet us. Low and behold, Matt came over and also welcomed us and gave us each a $10 gift certificate to come back again AND when we ordered an entree we'd get a free app. Too good to be true, well it wasn't. I went back the 2nd night and brought Mr. G. I was really happy with the food, price and portion size. Everything vegetarian has a gray symbol and is also vegan. First off apps The veggie spring rolls the first night and the pan fried dumplings the 2nd night. The order of 2 rolls were crispy but not greasy and the veggies were cooked just right with a crunch that also didn't break a tooth. The dumplings were a little too soft for me and I don't think I would get them again. For the main meal, which we shared family style: MA PO TOFU - 5 Star STIR-FRIED EGGPLANT - 5 Star VEGETARIAN FRIED RICE - 4 Star SPICY GREEN BEANS - 4.5 Star SICHUAN-STYLE ASPARAGUS 1 Star The tofu was fried crisp and the sauce had a tangy flavor which was perfect with the american broc. The eggplant was really soft which I like so I got it both times. The veggie fried rice had lots of real veggies like pea pods, carrots, broc and not what I normally get served at a typical chinese place. I am not so crazy about fried rice so I could skip it next time and get the Tofu instead. The green beans and asparagus are stir fried in the same garlic chili paste sauce which I love. The green beans were really soft so if you are looking for a crunch it misses the mark but I love em that way since I can't chew a thing with braces on. The asparagus were like sticks. We hardly ever send things back but we did and reordered the green beans. Having a menu with both vegan and gluten free options makes ordering so much easier. I am thinking this is going to me one of my new favorite places. read more

I don't know what happened to Pf Chang. Used to be my family's favorite Chinese/ Asian restaurant. I still come back every few months but every time I come back it's always a disappointment. Ex. Their chicken lettuce wrap barely has chicken in it. Cant even taste the chicken at all. It's all just water chestnuts. Why call it chicken lettuce wrap??? Just call it water chestnut wrap. My son wanted takeout from PF Chang's for his birthday dinner so we ordered last night. I am always happy when I don't have to cook but feel compelled to write about the overall lack of quality. Food was just ok overall, but what really didn't impress was the overall value. We are a family of 5, we ordered $120 worth of food, which would normally be a feast for us with plenty of leftovers. The portions were so small that I initially couldn't even find the meat or chicken we ordered under the rice. Mongolian Beef had literally 5 small pieces of meat.
