One of the worst experiences I have had eating here. It is usually ok but tonight I sat at the bar and they did not clear and wipe down the surface even though they brought me my drink and I had ordered my food. I had to tell them to wipe the counter and clear. My salmon came out cold in the middle and the rice was definitely old. I sent the salmon back and it came back upside down, no additional sides - which they usually add and overcooked. I told the bartender I was unhappy and they did not adjust my bill nor do anything at all to help my experience be better. It is crowded but this is totally inacceptable. I will not go back. I'm not going to spend much time talking about P.F. Chang's. It's like writing a review of pizza places that have children's games and serve beer -- Not a lot of options or comparisons. I just enjoy every meal we have at P.F. Chang's, and it is always a treat in the restaurant or takeout. It's special and locally unique (can be pricey). Ordering the family dinners for two or four works very well and is competitively affordable to your local Chinese takeout (well, maybe not that inexpensive, but equal price:quality ratio). Egg drop soup, spring rolls, honey chicken, beef with broccoli, lettuce wraps, and mai tais are my favorite staples at the Natick mall location. read more

Went for dinner yesterday because we had a gift card. It was awful. First off, it was difficult to find at the Natick Mall, found two other restaurants very quickly because they were lit up. We finally came across PF Changs by chance, it was dark and hidden behind pillars. We took the restaurant elevator up and it was disgusting, splashed wall, carpet thick with dust and dirt, walls coated with finger marks. My husband went into the Mens room and said it was so gross. Our waiter was very good, helpful, attentive. We each ordered an agave Margarita, which was very good. The menu a year ago used to be about 6 pages. Now it's a card with writing front and back. Then for dinner we ordered the combo fried rice, crab wantons, chicken lettuce wraps and egg rolls. We wanted the BBQ ribs but they were completely out...there were only 4 other tables full. The crab wantons were very good and we loved the dip it came with and used it on the egg rolls as well. The egg rolls were good, a bit greasy, not very flavorful. The chicken in the lettuce wraps was cooked beyond recognition. In the combo fried rice was over cooked shrimp, dried out chicken and beef. A shame as the flavor was good. You get two stars for having nice waiters. That's it. We went in, the restaurant was almost empty yet they told us that there was a 35 minute wait. This was at 2pm on a Sunday. Fine, weekends are always busy. We got a text that our table was ready, so we went back and were seated. 15 minutes later, our waitress came by and took out order. Our drinks came out shortly after. I ordered dragon tea, which they brought by in a pot... it would have been nice, except that it was Lukewarm and I had to ask for sweetener. The food took over an hour to come. We were told that the kitchen was backed up... but I find that somewhat dubious as the place wasn't even half full. The portions and quality have gone way down in the last few years. Went for family dinner on Aug 31, 2024 and it was the worst experience of my life. One of the dish we ordered was spicy chicken with brown rice. It looked ok but couple of bites into the meal and felt hair in the food. I spat out the bite on to the paper napkin and saw the hair. It made me sick and could not eat anything else. I think the only reason why this restaurant has survived is because of the bar not because of the food. The service is absolutely terrible and so is the crappy food. I have had microwavable meals that tasted better than their dishes. You could basically go walk over to the food court and get a better meal there than over here which is definitely speaking volumes. I tried giving this restaurant a chance three times in the past year and every time it was just as disappointing as the last. The funny thing is that at the grocery store they sell bags of P.F. Chang's dishes that you can have that they serve right in the restaurant and yet the ones you pick up from the store are much better quality and taste better than what they serve here. That is definitely embarrassing. Sticky dirty tables they don't bother to clean and huff and puff and sigh if you ask for something, even if you are polite to them. Definitely not giving this place. I ordered beef and broccoli, Kung Pao Shrimp and pork egg rolls. The order totaled $75.00 approximately including tip. I wished I had read the reviews first. very disappointing. The beef and broccoli had over cooked dried out beef- it seemed like the beef had been sitting around for awhile but the flavor was just ok, the shrimp had an odd tangy flavor that I did not recognize as Kung Pao. The egg rolls didn't taste fresh and the pork filling inside had an undesirable pasty texture and seemed like they were reheated overall flavorless though the sauce that came with it was pretty good albeit not traditional. When I placed the takeout order the computer said the order would be ready for pick up at 7:50PM but at 8:00PM it was not quite ready. Disappointing won't go back. read more

If you want to come in on a weekday for lunch when it's empty- forget about it. Service is still horrendous. I tried sitting at the bar and there wasn't a bartender in sight for 15 minutes. My husband and I went to Natick Mall yesterday from R.I. Hadn't been the there in a few years. Anyways decided to eat at PF Changs. It did not disappoint. They had lunch specials on a Sunday, that's very unusual. The portions were a good size and for$2.00 more you got there crunch salad. It was delicious. The prawns were on the burned and slight over cooked as well as salty. The soup was too sour. This is my go to soup at every Chinese restaurant but this was one of the worst ones. It's a P.F. Changs. I placed an online order for pickup on a Saturday around 5:00 for pickup 15 minutes later curbside. Almost an hour later, I ended up going inside to ask about the food, and waited another 15 before I got my order. The staff was nice enough, but it's clear that demand is currently outstripping capacity. I think there were around 50 people waiting outside to dine in the restaurant. A Doordash driver also waiting to pickup said that he was going to have to cancel his customer's order because he would have to wait too long. The food was about what you'd expect flavor-wise, but the portion sizes did seem to be a bit smaller than I'd expected, closer to the lunch sizes than dinner sizes. It's unclear if this was a mistake, the current sizes or a strategy to get more orders out the door, but we were ready to head home at that point. It's unclear if this is just that demand is ramping up fast now that more people are vaccinated, but you should temper your expectations accordingly. read more

We went out for dinner to celebrate my birthday with my family. It's the first time at this P.F. Chang's as we are new to the Natick area. I must say the overall service was horrible, The table wasn't set when we arrived and there weren't any place settings. When our food came we asked for place settings and got an attitude from the runner then the hostess. Our waitress was pleasant but seemed overwhelmed. I'm sure they do not have enough help to give quality service but it's unacceptable. Also, the floors were filthy. The food was good but the overall experience wasn't great. I compare this P.F. We came in during lunch break at 1:15. The place was a ghost town... The food was very good. I had the lunch size kung pao chicken and brown rice with a the mandarin crunch side salad. They mark this meal as spicy but it is spicy only if you eat the large hunks of whole peppers that come with it besides that it is like sprinkling black pepper. It was still very flavorful and good and the brown rice was cooked perfectly (lots of restaurants get brown rice so wrong!). The mandarin salad was light and fresh - very good. The service was the only downfall. It was incredibly slow - especially slow since there were maybe 5 tables filled in the whole restaurant! Stopped here for lunch and ordered Steamed Pork Dumplings and Chang's Spicy Chicken with Fried Rice. Steamed pork dumpling are supposedly "made in house." What exactly that means I don't know, the dumplings were much like something one purchases frozen at an asian supermarket or Trader Joe's. Rubbery skin, some dumplings not even sealed all the way. Some parts of the skin are soft and others are hard. The pork taste like ground pork with some scallion. Not bad overall though as the pork, salty sweet sauce and scallion have a basic appeal to them. As for Chang's Chicken, it again was reminiscent of an instant style dinner one finds at a Trader Joe. Actually now that I think about it I believe PF Chang has a brand of frozen dinners. The sauce is like a knockoff of General Tso/General Gao/Jordan Chicken. It is sweet yet stale and overly thick with a vinegar and sesame flavor. Some fresh scallions in the sauce offer nice texture. The chicken is fried and has a decent outside texture. Thin pieces are not very tender or tasty. Overall it reminds me of my attempts to make General Tso chicken at home. As for the fried rice, it has no flavor other than a greasy undertone. Strange how it tastes greasy, but lacks the greasy texture and richness that makes fried rice so desirable and addictive. Furthermore, the rice has a dry and stale texture. Almost as though it was cooked last night, put in the fridge and reheated before served to me. Anyone looking for authentic Chinese Cuisine don't even think about it. Those seeking that guilty pleasure of greasy, sugary, American Chinese takeout, it might not be a total miss, but there are better options within the Natick Mall. read more

Not a bad visit after a long long while! My sis popped in for lunch and split the lunch for 2 combo. It included a starter, two lunch entrees, soups and a dessert. My only complaint is the Mongolian Beef - it had waaaayyyy too many scallions. It should have less. It made the dish a little hard to eat because the beef was literally swimming in the giant stalks of scallions. It tasted good, but holding back on the scallions may help.
