Yesterday I placed an order for take out. Adrian was nice enough to answer the phone and transfer me to the take out specialist, after being on hold for 3-4 minutes the line hung up so I called back. I explained to Adrian how no one answered the phone and he was nice enough to replace me on hold and walk to the take out area to make sure someone would answer. Then the gentlemen over the phone Kelsey answered and was extremely rude, I ordered $115 worth of food Togo. And towards the end of my order he said "yup bye".. his demeanor was unprofessional... the food quality was exceptional as always. Having been locked up for the past several months my wife and I decided to venture up to one of our favorite places to have a late lunch today. What a disappointment, not sure what has happened to this place, it looks a bit run down, unappealing and the hostess did not even look up at us to acknowledge us, while we stood there for several minutes as she was on the phone. The place was mostly empty and the waitress seemed rushed and disappeared after dropping off water. It took a very long time for someone to come by, and later a young man who appeared a bit prissy and sloppy, stopped by to tell us that he was taking over our order and it would be out shortly. Another 15 minutes or more passed and he brought out our order. It also took 4 requests to get only one refill of water. The food was okay, not at all great and quite frankly, Panda Express would have been better. I like Panda Express, not trying to put them down, but a better value and good too. The portions seemed much smaller than what I recall. To my surprise our bill was $56.00 and this was for only 3 items and we had water ...? I should be happy that he forgot our appetizers too, then I would have been more disappointed. When service is poor and food is only mediocre, I tip accordingly, which I did. The prices have gone up, which I am sure is to account for all the extra cleaning, but these past few months have made us realize that we really enjoy our home cooking, which is by far not only a greater value for us, better tasting, more choices, but also healthier for us and I don't need to have high expectations on the quality of the service, plus no masks in our house. This was our second time eating out in the past 3 months and both were far more expensive and only okay, which is not worth the trouble. We had not eaten at Tucson's PF Changs in about a year but always liked it so we decided to go there last night to celebrate a special occasion. We were very disappointed. The service was not good at all. The waitress seemed put out with every request. The service was inattentive and much slower than we have ever experienced there in the past, even on busy nights. The food was pretty good but not as good as it used to be. The portions were smaller and presentation was evidently not considered. The fried green beans were good but were in a giant clump fried together, We had to ask for clean plates when our entrees came (eating family style) and still only two of the four of us received clean plates. We would have ordered more beverages if given the opportunity, and I couldn't even get a water refill. Dirty dishes stacked up in our table for probably 15 minutes. We had never seen PF Changs not busy but it was less than half full - now we know why. We are not likely to go back there again and I will be surprised if they're open much longer if this type of experience is the norm. read more

I ordered 5 Beijing Duck entrees to be delivered at my house for a formal dinner. When I opened the order the rice was missing. I called the restaurant and they said they would not deliver the rice, and gave me the option to go and pick it up or to refund the rice. Since guests had already arrived I could not leave the house to pick ups the rice. The dinner was a total disaster. I went to happy hour on a week day with my wife and my baby. Our server was not only rude, but also inattentive. He forgot to bring us water despite asking for it twice. The power of the entire plaza went out after we got our first round of drinks. If it weren't for another server who alerted us to that, we wouldn't have known because our server was MIA and we were seated outside. My baby was overheating so my wife took her back to our car while I waited for our server to come back with our check. It took another 20 mins and me walking up to the counter for the server to come up with our check! They didn't even have the decency to waive our tabs because of the inconvenience. Overall, our experience was not in line with our prior experience with other PF Chang's in other cities. We were very disappointed by the service. read more

I'm so bummed. Years ago P.F. Chang's was so good. The food was good and the customer service was excellent. They used to come out and mix up sauces for you at the beginning of the meal. I went to P.F. Chang's two months ago and it was below par. Went again today thinking that the time before was just a one off. The service was slow and it wasn't busy. Numerous tables were empty. This was 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon. The waiters continued to forget what we asked for, which was yellow mustard to enhance the food and after 10 minutes I went up to ask for it a third time. We had some edamame and got filled up with that and asked for the check. The waiter brought the boxes to take the entrées home. As I started to fill the box with my entrée I saw a long hair, not my color and not my length and that was that. I didn't tell the waiter I just wanted out. The whole ordeal was such a wait fest. Wait to order, wait for the food, wait for the mustard to put on the food, wait for the check, wait for them to box it...So disappointing. That's that, I'm done. read more

Had great expectations for this place knowing the history and success they've had. We walk up to a Handwritten sign that said "use other door" no arrow or anything else. It looked like it was made by a second grader- not professional. We were seated right away at a booth and felt the ambiance was nice. Once again heavy on the five spice seasoning and overly dressed- very soggy like my Caesar. A lot of hard earned money bought this lunch. Sadly probably will not return. It was a nearly empty restaurant and hostess seats a cranky couple next to us who complained the entire time about everything because they were in a hurry to eat. Loud and obnoxious made for uncomfortable meal. Waiter a bit too slow. Maybe needed more training- took too long to get water refilled. We over tipped him because we were sure the people next to us did not tip him at all. We had the PF Chang's For Two Egg Drop Soup: Both of us had this. I wanted the Wonton Soup as listed on the websites menu, but its not on the physical menu in the restaurant. Dynamite Shrimp: Oh my god. This is soooo good. I could seriously eat an entire meal of these. Sesame Chicken and Lo Mein: We decided on these two, and shared both. Both dishes were delicious and filled us up fast. We finished the Sesame Chicken but had Lo Mein left over which they put in a to-go box for us. For desert, our waitress actually upgraded us to the Great Wall of Chocolate for no extra charge since it was my birthday. They brought it out with a candle and had written "Happy Bday" on it in the raspberry sauce. I also asked our waitress for a drink suggestion for something "fruity" for my first legal drink and she recommended the Chang's Mai Tai which was absolutely wonderful. Disclosure: I ordered through Grubhub, so this may have something to do with how things came out. The food quality is exceptional. All FRESH and AROMATIC and TASTY. Well packaged with the restaurant's sticker so I know the Grubhub driver didn't eat anything. That's the good news. Singapore Noodles: barely any protein in there. Lots of noodles, but oh so light on the shrimp, beef, etc. Disappointing. Beef Broc: great. Lots of beef, good broc. I ordered 2x "Trio of sauces" and 2x mustard. Only got two dipping sauces... and we had nothing to dip. No chili paste, no hot mustard. Instead of 8 containers of 4 condiments we had 2 containers of muddy dipping sauce. This is the second time that PF Chang's just doesn't seem to understand that when a customer orders the "trio of sauces" the customer wants the three sauces, not the muddy dipping sauce. Oh and it was delivered 45 minutes after it was promised... most of that time the app showing the driver at PF Chang's not picking up the order. The ability to plate a simple order is success. The inability to get it right, get it plated, get it on time... is failure. Food quality wise: 5 stars. Putting together the $65 order (includes Grubhub fees + driver tip) correctly: 1 stars. Recently however, their food quality has deteriorated significantly while their prices have gone up. They have consistently offer specials for Club members through email such as buy one get one free... however the quality has gone down so much that to be honest.... I will not go to eat the food there anymore even if it were free. In My Humble Opinion (IMHO) It's gotten that bad there. If I have any advice for P.F. Changs... Please improve your food, lower your prices and stop giving away buy one get one type promotions especially of it means your product is suffering and your prices go up to cover the costs of the promotional food. read more

P.F. Chang's is a solidly good Chinese food restaurant. It is clean, the food tastes good, and the service is good. The famous Lettuce Wraps are famous for a reason. It is a plentiful portion (easily enough for two) of chicken and veggies and seasonings that are flavorful and yummy. The lettuce is crisp, cold, and perfect size. I would say they are a "must have" when you go to P.F. Chang's. Since the Lettuce Wraps are a big appetizer, we usually split an entree. We've tried many different dishes. The chicken seems to be good quality. The beef is also good, but it is slightly chewier since it is a flank cut. The veggies are always crisp and fresh. The Chang's Spicy Chicken is tasty and just spicy enough. The Crispy Honey Chicken is a little bit sweet for me, but it is still a good dish. The Beef A La Sichuan is my favorite dish. The sauce is delicious, and the veggies are julienned perfectly. I love that they cook the beef to a little bit of a "crisp". It adds to the texture nicely. The Beef with Broccoli has tons of broccoli and the sauce definitely tastes of garlic. The prices are slightly high, but the portions are large so you can definitely share one appetizer and one entree amongst two people. The service is usually very good and attentive. The parking lot can get overly busy at times, and people seem to drive like real airheads going around the corners of the lot, so be careful. read more

This was the second time disappointed at this location! I thought I would try this P.F. Chang location but was disappointed in the food quality.. I don't know where to start... the edamame arrived soggy and without sea salt.. on par with ordering French fries and getting old soggy cold fries. I had to send this back and did not ask for a new order. The order of pan fried pork dumplings that soon arrived were cold and flavorless as it was evident from the semi cooked pork stuffing that the dumplings went from freezer to pan or quick microwave and inadequate time in the frying pan. I should have sent this order back but ate it thinking that maybe I was too critical... then the flavorless spring rolls arrived.... I could not take it anymore when the cold wagu beef entree arrived totally cold as well as an order of noodles. At this point I had to send both back and speak to the manager. I will never return back to this PF Chang's location. Serious changes are needed in the food preparation! read more

I think P.F Chang's is a nice place go-to, semi-authentic/Americanized Chinese cuisine. I've eaten here countless times at many locations. One thing that I do like about them is that use good quality. A lot of times when you opt for Chinese food, you usually suffer in the other areas(sanitation, meat quality, atmosphere, etc.) Also, since the house sauce is pre-made so, they are pretty consistent. Fact: the lady where original recipe came from, was Chinese so don't think they don't serve some close to authentic dishes just because they are a chain. However, with that being said, They have strayed away from that and I'm not too fond of the newer menu items they have introduced. They are not very Chinese, if you ask me(and I'm Chinese-first gen.!) They removed the chow fun from their menu and it was VERY authentic and surprisingly well-made. Here are my favorite things to order: Appetizers: Dumplings(I personally like it the old way) - they do make these in house, plus! Spare Ribs - both good, I like the one with the 5 spice and pretty authentic. Crab Ragoon - they actually use real crab! Most places use imitation crab meat. Lettuce Wraps - are good for bigger groups Soup: Wonton(the wontons can def. be better but I like the pieces of chicken and shrimp) & Chicken Noodle(Not very authentic but taste good. Only comes in bowl size) Entree - Combo Lomein, Combo fried rice, Ma Po Tofu(I always order this mild), egg plant, Mongolian Beef, Crispy honey chicken/shrimp, they use to be these Prawns and I think they've been replaced by something else but I'm not sure if they are any good, the Hot Fish is decent and my brother loves Chang's Chicken. I love their packaging for takeout. Everything is wrapped and wrapped again if needed. Items such as soup or sauces. (Packaging must be pricey but that's why their food is more expensive then most, right?) Their phone service is great and they remember your name from your phone number, nice personal touch. I had the Chicken lettuce wraps to start...and the chicken was simply some of the best i have every had. I had PF Chang's Fried rice with chicken added...which is always great at any PF Chang's that i have ever been to...for my Entree'. My wife had the Lo Mein...which was seasoned very well and very moist not dry like you can get it at other Chinese restaurants. Now dessert was also first class...we had Banana Egg rolls. That's right fresh cut banana's in a crispy batter...with fresh strawberry's, blackberry's,& raspberry's on the side. Vanilla ice cream in the middle of the plate with rolls surrounding them drizzled in Carmel and Vanilla sauce....mmmmmmmmmmm. Yeah i know it sounds outstanding...and trust me it was. We had an early dinner and, overall, enjoyed our meal, the service, and the ambiance of the restaurant quite a lot. The decor and design of the restaurant is attractive and stylish. For appetizers, we had the Tempura Calamari and the gluten-free chicken lettuce wraps. Both were tasty, fresh, and light. For our main course, we had the lobster and shrimp fried rice and the gluten-free pepper chicken. Both were light, tasty, and the portion sizes were quite large! I am in town visiting my mom this year to escape the cold, snow & ice back home. found out that this location is a test store, so they offer more selections on both the regular menu and the gluten free menu. Once again I had a great meal despite my having a dairy allergy and not eating gluten. I love that they continue to expand on their Gluten Free Menu. Before I left home I traded in my American Express Points for a $25 E-Gift Certificate so I could save my mom money while I am here visiting here. I tend to be a creature of habit and if I like a particular food item a lot, I tend to order it again because I know it will be good. I ordered the Gluten Free Mongolian Beef and it was the lunch size portion this time, I love when food is consistently good. My mom ordered the Dan Dan Noodle Dish and she had enough left over for 3 more meals, she really loves it and has ordered it before. My mom has a $25 gift card that my sister gave her so we will be going back to use that along with a $10 coupon she received via email to use on a $50 purchase so we will have more dishes next time that I can report on. read more
