Been here plenty of times and every time the food is fantastic. The service is always great as well. The gal that met us makes us feel welcome. I really enjoy going here. My wife got the chicken pad Thai and I got the spicy drunken noodles. We also got the soy sauce chicken dumplings. For me a little heavy on the soy sauce still very tasty. Next time we'll probably order the regular chicken dumplings. Overall, please give them a try. read more

BTW I don't usually go higher than a 4 on a chain restaurant. So this is a good location for Pei Wei, located on Broadway between Craycroft and Rosemont. They have front parking, that is full, but there is a large parking lot for a larger store . Pei Wei serves good Chinese (Americanized) food, they have a good variety of standard Chinese food that is expected in our culture. The staff are friendly and welcoming. everything is served with rice, fried rice, noodles or vegies. They also have soups, poke and wings with a variety of sauces. Nice location. good food. restrooms okay. Nothing bad about this location, it is just a good model of what this chain tries to project in a consistent manner. read more

Miss having this place in California so it was so nice to go again! We got the honey-seared chicken which was really good. We upgraded the white rice with fried rice which was also good (they even put it on the side for us instead of under the chicken). The chicken lo mein was okay, probably wouldn't get again. The pad Thai is really really good. And the sesame wings are very delicious too. And I like that I can refill my tea.

The food was a hit, this is my first time trying out this dish and I wanted to provide a bit of insight on it as someone that loves Panda Express heh. Service was great, no complaints there, the lady was super nice and thoughtful. I came when it was a bit slower so it must have been a good time to get in and out but no complaints there as I was still working. In terms of healthy, this is pretty good, for what it is. Just an fyi for anyone that needs to watch their sodium intake, I believe this dish is the highest amount of sodium of all the dishes they offer at a whopping 4,900mg. If your needing to watch that you may want to think twice about it even though it's delicious! I am curious as to how this dish has an insane amount of salt for it just being rice, grilled chicken and sauce. Orderd directly from Pei Wei online.. I'm from out of town and not familiar with the streets here, I input the wrong address by mistake but noticed it BEFORE my food left the store. I tried to phone call my Dasher with no response.. Dasher picks up my food, they get lost and finally calls me.. well......he only speaks Spanish and I do not so there's a communicating issue.. never got my food. I call Doordash to cancle the order, then I reached out to the store by phone. They told me they see the cancelation BUT Pei Wei will NOT refund me till Doordash reimburses them for the loss. I called Doordash again and was told Doordash does NOT refund stores for their losses. Now im stuck with Pei Wei/Doordash pointing the fingers at each other... im at a loss and will end up eating this (no pun inteded) Sure the initial error was on my part but Doordash is employing people who don't speak English....English is the primary language in the US NOT my fault Doordash cant provide proper tools to communicate with their drivers. Today the service and the food was so bad that I just left my food barely touched and walked out and to think that I paid almost $20.00 for just one order is ridiculous. I ordered the Spicy Chicken with white rice and she ordered the Firecracker Tofu with brown rice. The cashier was polite and informative when we asked questions. The food came out very quickly and hot. I asked if I could get more sauce and he politely accommodated. My meal was decent, nothing extraordinary. My girlfriend said that the tofu wasn't crispy, the rice tasted funny, there wasn't a lot of sauce and the vegetables were undercooked. We were asked how the meals were and we kindly said it was okay. We didn't want to get new meals because we were hungry. Basically great service saved a mediocre meal. The food fro Pei Wei was absolutely mediocre and left me wanting Chinese food, which this was a pale imitation of. Egg rolls were greasy and tasteless with no crunch. The dish was orange colored, not the usual tan color. No egg in it. The tofu was dry. The chicken was tasteless, like it was cooked separately & thrown in at the end. I didn't taste any green onion but I saw dark green pieces that I think was onion. Also ordered honey seared chicken. There was about 8 pieces of chicken & 3/4 of the rest of the bowl was rice & noodles. It looked like they didn't have enough chicken but they made do & threw it in anyhow. Update...The Pei Wei care team reached out but I cannot access the link as it did not populate correctly. At least they tried...jeez. It's been a minute since I've left any reviews but this one weighed on me since ordering take out last night and I had to get on here. We use to order from here a few times a month. We use to love it. That has decreased to once every couple months and now...it will probably be never again. Reasons why are menu changes, smaller portions for the price-not worth it, and a serious decline in quality. We stopped in and order to go last night. We told the cashier we would have to wait outside as it was FREEZING inside. She acknowledged how cold it was but that's it. As we waited for our food people were literally going to their vehicles for JACKETS. No way should it be that uncomfortably cold. We got home and started to eat. Ugghhh. Crab Rangoon (4pc) looked like they had been in a warmer for 6 weeks. I took a bite...tasted like cold cardboard. I have never not liked them here. I think I am ruined on them now. My wife took a bite of her honey seared chicken with rice. She immediately said it was incorrect. It was sweet n sour and the rice was not cooked. She said it also lacked flavor and freshness. I felt defeated before I even started my meal. I got the Mongolian steak with noodles. THANKFULLY I was able to use the dipping sauce for the crab and some chili paste so that I could actually swallow my noodles. They. Were. Beyond. Dry. With. ZERO. Flavor. I literally could not believe I just paid for this. I did however receive 412 scallion stalks with my meal. Jesus hell. No need for allllll that. The food tastes good overall, and I'm glad they brought back the Thai coconut curry which isn't exactly the same as it used to be but still delicious. But what's with the measly portions? I shouldn't have to dig around and only find 6 pieces of chicken in my bowl. It's especially bad if you get the honey seared (my husband's usual) or any plate with fried pieces of chicken, like the orange chicken I ordered yesterday. Quit being so cheap with your portions Pei Wei! I'm 105 lbs soaking wet and I shouldn't still be hungry after eating a regular sized bowl! I suspect they do only this with to go orders because we somehow can't complain to them since we don't realize it til we get home. Also, don't even bother with the curb side pickup.
