Ma Po Tofu was absolutely delicious
    Erin D.

We were on the hunt for a new family dinner spot and craving great Chinese food with solid vegan options for us adults with dietary restrictions. Enter Jun Dynasty. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We pulled up to a completely full parking lot and a crowd of people waiting out front, which is always a promising sign.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When we asked for a table, we were quoted a pretty long wait. To be fair, we did not make a reservation, so that one is on us. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Normally I am not the type to wait that long, but the restaurant smelled absolutely amazing. That aroma alone convinced us to stick it out, and I am so glad it did.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Once we were seated, our drink orders were taken and delivered quickly. The menu had a wide variety of dishes, including several vegetarian and vegan options, which we really appreciated. It would have been helpful to have more detailed descriptions on the menu, but our server was happy to answer questions and walk us through everything. We ordered the ma po tofu, braised tofu with vegetables, and vegetable chow fun noodles. My daughter went with the orange chicken and wonton soup. About ten minutes later, the noodles and soup arrived. The bowl of soup was big enough for the entire table, which made my daughter very happy. The noodles were delicious, and shortly after we started eating, the rest of the dishes came out. The braised tofu was loaded with large chunks of bell peppers and flavorful black mushrooms. The ma po tofu came in a vibrant red chili sauce topped with Szechuan peppercorn and brought just the right amount of heat. Everything was absolutely delicious. I am really glad we decided to wait and give this place a try. Jun Dynasty definitely earned a spot in our dinner rotation, and we will be back soon.

I come every few months. Today I tried something new. Today I tried the Spicy Ribs in Dried Pot. It was marked as spicy, but was not too spicy. He had a great flavor. Went there as a party of 7. They handled us easily. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They seated us at a large round table with a lazy susan in the middle. It's so nice being able to see everyone at the table[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].

Fenomenal menu here. Pork dumplings in red chili oil were fantastic. Spicy and sour Napa cabbage is very good in combination with pretty much any protein on the menu. Sautéed green beans are very flavorful, however these are incredibly spicy. Milk tea is yummy. I don't understand their hot and sour soup though so will not be ordering it in the future. Service is great from the moment you walk in and are greeted to servers that take your order and serve your food.

Just wanted/needed takeout. So ordered the broccoli chicken and the green onion beef on line. By the time I got there the food was done and bagged and Ives's in and out in 10 sec. I was happy they put everything inside these impenetrable plastic containers because the ride home on our city streets was plenty bumpy. I finally got the containers opened and was oh so underwhelmed with the taste. There was plenty of broccoli but the sauce was bland brown uninspired and watery even if they had dumped in an extra helping of garlic. The beef dish wasn't any better. There were some green in it along with probably an entire sliced yellow onion with the same poor excuse for a sauce as the chicken. These were not cooked by a Chinese chef. Nothing in this order was elevated to best in town flavor , no taste that goes with being made in a wok. Say something nice. I Did. The order was ready when I got there. Even on a bad day I can make a better Chinese stir fry sauce. I won't pickup here again.

Peking style pork. Very much on point sauce, the tofu adds as an additional wrap.

I think the Chinese is close to American flavors than Chinese taste. Maybe I just need more msg who knows. But very popular with the locals and food is fresh. To me lacked a little more flavor or msg. My goal was to pair the dishes with plain white rice and kinda did not hit that spot. Still I would recommend all locals to go because they already do :)

First time coming here and the food was great. My favorites were the chili dumplings and sesame chicken. The service is decent and quick. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It did feel a little crowded in there but it's a good indicator that it's a good place to eat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I love that their menu has so many gluten friendly options and that it is clearly labeled. The best thing I ate were the garlic green beans. They were so good I had to go back for a birthday lunch so family could also try them. They can get busy so it's nice they have a dedicated parking lot so that you can always find parking easily. The service was good and I'll definitely be back.

    Hands down the best!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]First time here and on a Saturday it was packed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Had heard good things so decided to come for dinner. We ordered the Mongolian beef, low mein, and egg rolls. It was decent for Korean food.

Ok, so I was never a " crave Chinese food" person. Let me tell you that this place has made me that person! My husband and I have gone back every weekend since we discovered this place 1 month ago. Every time we go back we try a new dish. No disappointments yet and I don't think we will ever be disappointed. My favorite is the vegetable hot pot. The texture of all the delicious vegetables and different forms of tofu are amazing! The service was amazing the first time, I should say super friendly but since then we've had a server who is quick but not friendly so maybe that's a slight complaint, she's walking right in the line of being rude. This has not stopped us from returning. [[HIGHLIGHT]]One thing I always pay attention to is the cleanliness and esthetic and this restaurant hits all the marks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Lots of variety and made fresh to order. High quality meats and other ingredients. Loaded with flavors. Table loved the fried buns, which were like little pockets of sweet and fluffy donut. The wontons/dumplings were also a highlight. The brisket noodle soup was very flavorful and loaded with noodles, but there were several pieces of meat that had a lot of rubbery skin attached. Orange chicken had a nice, light and crispy fried exterior and sweet sauce. Shrimp were clean. Everything was tasty, so you can't go wrong.

We come here at least once a month. We have a few go to items which are the sesame chicken, Mongolian beef, hot and sour soup, steamed or pan fried dumplings and the chicken egg rolls. We've tried a few of the shrimp amd pork dishes but the ones listed are the best! Another favorite is the vegetable in garlic sauce. The service is always 10/10 and they do tend to get busy in waves along with alot of to go orders. Jun is one of our favorite places to eat.

Take out: Hot and sour shredded potatoes- a must! Bean curd noodles with jalapenos- yum

    Do they do reservations?

    Yes. Just call.

What gluten free options do they have for someone with a severe allergy?

If you have a severe allergy I don't know if you should go there. They use soy sauce in every dish. You could call ahead & ask if they have tamari. They are very cognizant of making things entirely vegan so maybe they can deal with gluten free too.…

Service was attentive and everyone inside was incredibly kind and respectful. Ordered Crab Rangoons and Beef Chow Fun, a couple of staples of mine trying new Chinese restaurants. Rangoons were perfectly crispy, while the chow fun had a delicious wok hei flavor. The noodles and beef were tender and the dish had plenty of onions/green onions/etc. The only thing I didn't care for - and this is a personal preference - is that the chow fun did have a little more star anise/five spice flavor than I care for. Otherwise, the food was hot, fresh, and delicious! Definitely looking forward to returning for a dine in visit to try out the full, very authentic looking menu.

The shrimp tempura is light and crisp. The beef kabobs are well flavored and cooked crispy, which is an interesting and yummy presentation, The ribs are large and flavorful. The crab puffs are amazing! We could have eaten ten of them; a crisp outside is stuffed with a melting cheesy crab mixture. Divine! House -made Chinese mustard (so good and really clears out the sinuses!) and sweet dipping sauces completed the appetizers. I've reviewed our entrees before and they are as delicious as always. I had the Three Delight Moo Shu, a platter filled with fresh vegetables, shrimp, and chicken; accompanied by sauce (hoisin?) and rice pancakes. I enjoy making my little "burrito" bites! My dining friend had the Mongolian Three Delight; shrimp, chicken, and beef prepared with at least three kinds of onions and a mildly spicy sauce, and a large bowl of rice. My friend has a spice-loving palate, and was brought a bowl of hot chili sauce. Visible pepper flakes floated in the sauce and it was pronounced perfect. I love being greeted by name and the food is scrumptious. Golden House is immaculate throughout and it is a pleasure to visit and enjoy their food. See you next month, Ming!

KP was a tad too sweet and would make that adjustment in future, had mid level heat as served-- overall 4/5 hubby enjoyed. Snow Peas were a bit tough, chewy vs tender and snappy. Maybe a parboil to tenderize before quick wok hit ? and velveted beef had decent texture and flavor 3.75/5 a bit chewy and garlicky brown sauce aok. Portions are fair, you may have leftovers if you aren't really hungry but hubby easily ate his KP but only 1/3 of a heaped rice bowl. $3.50 for a small single pot of black tea (oolong?) was a bit stee, they got too busy to ask for more H20, but the free upgrade on brown rice more than makes par haha Overall a 3.8/5 for flavor and quality, Golden House is good. But still searching for a Go-to on SE side... Chef Wang still shines brighter for us: authenticity, wok hei, fresh bamboo shoots, tofu skin wraps, clay pot with Chinese dried mushrooms, variety on menu... although, alas no brown rice :/ Thankful though for this family Chinese restaurant, a quickly iconic mainstay of US dining, nearing extinction in many towns.
