6:50pm today- we walked in after a movie and asked for a table for 3. We were looking forward to trying the new menu- looks amazing. We went in and kindly asked for a table instead of a booth because we have one person who is in a cast boot and sliding in and out of a booth would be difficult for her. The hostess said "we only have booths right now". I looked past her to see a mostly empty restaurant, maybe a few table with people and then a few people on the patio. PFC's orange peel chicken has been my absolute favorite for a couple of decades. Rarely do I order anything else. Staying nearby so thought I would order via Door Dash. It was so awful, I couldn't eat most of it! What happened to the lightly breaded, juicy chicken breast pieces? After a date gone wrong to another restaurant we happened to make it back to our holy grail! P.F. Chang's is always a guaranteed amazing experience when you go. Jeanne, our waitress heard about our horror story of an anniversary dinner we had earlier in the evening at another restaurant and took it upon herself to make sure we had a better experience at P.F. Chang's. She was an angel the entire time, suggesting the new refreshers that were delicious, and got us a complimentary dessert that was amazing. The food was amazing, building was clean, and service was amazing. Sonia provided one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. She was super pretty as well--too bad I'm married! She checked in at just the right times, had a great attitude, and made us feel genuinely welcome. The service by Lauryn was phenomenal, as it was our first visit, she was so patient and friendly. She explained what different dishes were and graciously answered questions. We had the egg drop soup, Mongolian beef, pepper steak, chicken fried rice and a house salad. Absolutely everything was delicious, the presentation was beautiful and ambience was enjoyable. My wife and I recently received email BOGO entree offers, so we decided to return to P.F. Chang's after having not been there for a very long time. It had been a restaurant that we enjoyed years ago. We went late on a Saturday night - after 8:00 - so we did not think reservations were necessary. When we arrived at a half-filled restaurant, we were informed that it would be a 15-minute wait since we did not have reservations. In about 3 minutes the same hostess showed us to our table. HINT #1: If you plan to seat me quickly, just tell me it will be a few minutes to get our table ready. It starts the experience much better. As we walked to our table it was obvious that the "delayed" seating was due to tables not being cleared and that the staffing was sparse. After being seated, my wife decided to move to another seat at the table because an area of the table where she was seated had obviously not been cleaned after the previous diners. When our server arrived several minutes later to take a drink order, I asked to have the table cleaned and pointed to the area where the problem was. Her retort was that the table had already been cleaned, and that she had been working all day. HINT #2: When a guest requests that their table be cleaned, do NOT tell them that it was already done, and they really don't care how many hours you've been there. The guest may have soiled the table. It doesn't matter, just politely do it! Our server came back with the cleaning supplies and did a poor job of cleaning whatever remained from the prior cleaning. She then took our drink order, after a several minutes wait she returned with water for the table. Two glasses carried in one hand. The hand with the water glasses extended towards me, indicating that I should take them from her and place them on the table. HINT #3: If I wanted to be the server I would either apply for the job or eat at home. When our adult beverages arrived, they were the highlight of the evening. Both were well-made, and very flavorful. Sadly, that did not extend to the meals we were served. My wife has long loved Chang's Spicy Chicken, always ordering it. She said that there was something different about her dish, thinking they may have prepared their Orange Chicken by mistake. When this was brought to our server's attention, she did everything she could to satisfy my wife, bringing out another freshly prepared Spicy Chicken order, and offering to have anything else prepared for her. We took the extra portion home, and no one in the family thought it was the same recipe that they had used in the past. My Lo Mein had lots of shrimps, but the noodles were undercooked, and it lacked the intensity of flavor that it had in the past. When P.F. Chang's came to the Cincinnati market it was an outstanding restaurant - regardless of which one you visited. The service and quality were always excellent. We were reminded on this visit that we stopped eating there regularly because the original standards had not been maintained. We didn't need a BOGO coupon back then to make this our destination. The P.F Changs in my local area closed so when my MIL said she would like to go I was game. I am so glad we did. We started with the calamari it was perfect, the sauce was delicious the calamari was crispy without being overcooked. Next we had the egg rolls and crab rangoon they were awesome as well. We finished with the Honey Shrimp with fried rice. The shrimp was fresh lightly breaded and cooked perfectly with just the right amount of sauce. Needless to say we have plenty of leftovers. the vibe was nice and fancy and put together, service was okay could've been way better than it was, we ordered sushi and first sushi that was picked up kind of fell apart wasn't rolled tightly or done correctly, white rice was cold when it came out. The veggie spring rolls were decent sauce was tasty, but overall the food was maybe a 3 or 4 out of 10 not impressed at all. Also the server was very weird she gave a weird ish vibe she was nice just would sit in front of the table watching us take a bite like she knew the food was bad. I seen other reviews of this place of servers being rude saying if you come in after 9 pm or something the food isn't that great, I personally think the service should be the same no matter what time it is, service shouldn't be poor cause it's near closing time. My fiancé didn't even touch his "dinner" looked good to me but not sure cause I didn't try it. And $11 for a California roll is absolutely ridiculous when it's literally nori, avocado, cucumber, and imitation crab meat, prices are way to expensive for the service and the food, this place needs better management and better food quality and maybe business would be popping. And from another review I seen someone else said something about rats and roaches around the place, if that's the case someone needs to call a inspection place and it needs to be checked top to bottom, cause that's extremely disgusting for a "well put together restaurant". Probably won't be coming back. Place sucks apparently!! (And also my menu had some sticky stuff on it near the appetizer area, gross! Absolutely gross. Just not for me. Nothing to do with this location. The location is fine. The staff and service are fine. The food is fine. This place just isn't for me. I've been here many times over the years. It's mediocre at best. The service is hit-or-miss. No matter how nice the server is, sometimes the service is great and sometimes it's incredibly slow. The chain that it is, I would describe PF Chang's to Chinese food as what Olive Garden is to Italian food. A lot of people seem to like it, and that must count for something. Would I go back? Unwillingly, yes. It would never be my 1st choice. It may not even be my choice at all. But, as I said before, other people like it and for that reason, I'd probably go back. read more

Wonton soup was bad, spicy tuna roll was bad, pork dumplings were plain and boring, egg rolls were awful empty, cold,and tough, and the General Tso's chicken was so heavily breaded and tough as leather, as well as very few veggies and poor flavor. The fried rice was white rice doused in soy sauce with next to no vegetable bits. The white rice was on big clump of starched grains. Went back to eat again after couple weeks, and the it was just horrible! The last time we went, food was not bad, they were out of hot and sour soup at 7pm. I know why now, this time the soup was no flavor. It was just covered with soy sauce. Served brought out egg drop soup to replace the hot and sour, same thing, soup was no flavor, lo main was no color, so there's no flavor. Ordered a drink, they used old wine in the mix, that was replaced, much better. A thicker set woman came out and asked how everything was, didn't want to explain the same thing twice since we told the server of all the problems already, and than she asked my daughter for and ID. After telling her we are the parents. She said this the policy, under 21 cannot drink here. They need someone who can really manage the place to avoid things like this going on. read more

Haven't been to PF Changs in a few years but stopped in the West Chester location to order takeout. Needless to say, we won't be back! The to-go staff was pleasant but not well trained. Half of our order was not given to us a pickup. I didn't realize items were missing until after leaving the restaurant so called and asked them to bring the remaining items to curbside pickup. They still didn't get it right--when we got home found that rice was missing from one order as well as fruit in the kids meal. The food was absolutely horrible and couldn't be eaten. Sadly, we ended up throwing away $90 worth of uneatable food. The dumplings in the wonton soup were so overcooked they were limp and had fallen apart in the soup. The chicken in the sweet & sour was so crispy, it could not be picked up with a fork. The spring rolls were greasy and burnt until they were black on one side. And, the snap peas were covered with black spots as if they were old. On the bright side, the chocolate cake was delicious, but most likely comes frozen to the restaurant, so there is no cooking involved. Lastly, since the to-go order was placed online, PF Changs had provided a pick-up time of 4:53 pm. I went to the West Chester P.F. Chang's on Monday at about 11:30 for lunch. I was going to meet a friend. The music was very loud. I asked 3 different people, including the manager, to turn it down. I was told by all three that corporate determined how loud the music should be and they could not turn it down. It is very distracting when you want to have a conversation with someone. As my friend had not yet arrived, I called her and we decided to meet at another restaurant where we could enjoy chatting with each other in a more conducive atmosphere. I left immediately to go meet her. I have been to the PFChangs in Centerville Oh. and have not had this problem. I won't be returning to the one in West Chester. read more

Brought The wrong food ( twice). Dumped water in a drink that was " not a free refill" ( twice) took forever to get the check. The food was great, the restaurant was clean. Usually I enjoy P. F. Chang's with friends and family for various occasions or just because. Today, I was in the area and just stopped by. I am allergic to chicken. I ordered Shimp Lo Mein. I enjoyed a few bites until I bite into some chicken. I spoke to the waiter, who seemed as if he could careless. I had to go to the restroom. When I got back I was offered a free desert... There was no concern about my food allergy. I left disappointed and not feeling well. I won't be back because this could have been way worse for me. Our server was really really nice. Especially considering she was slammed and the only one I saw working. I had edamame, the ornament specialty cocktail and the pecking duck. All of it was wonderful! Drink even comes in a cute little keepsake ornament. Ps it's super strong. The only complaint I had was that my husband also ordered the duck but it took them ten mins to come out and say they had no more duck so he had to order something else. It was about 3pm so running out of duck before dinner time is slightly a show on the management or ownership with proper stocking. read more

Absolutely unbelievably disgusting!!! We orders chicken dishes and hey came out with 3-4 tiny pieces of chicken and the rest was tofu coated in batter. We menu didnt say tofu & chicken and they didn't come with everything stated on the menu! If you have a shellfish allergy do not get the wonton soup, they put shrimp in it. My husband and I went here for the first time last Friday during lunch time. Honestly, someone gave our son a gift card for here about 2 years ago, not knowing he doesn't like oriental food. So we bought it from him, but didn't come because we heard so many negative reviews. Finally we decided to try it, oh my, was it good!!!! When we first walked in, the hostess was on the phone with another customer and completely ignored us, once she got off the phone she seated us. When our waitress came to take our order, she was super joyful and smiling a lot. We told our her it was our first time there and ask for suggestions of what she would recommend for eating. She did a great job of recommending several different options. When she brought our water back to us, she brought us, to our surprise, an appetizer and said it was on the house. She explained, it was their lettuce wraps and explained how to eat them. They were so delicious!!!! We ordered: Veggie Fried Rice and Chicken Egg Rolls...oh my, everything was served so fresh and hot. We were so impressed with how fresh and flavorful everything tasted. We love how everything is made from scratch. Our waitress kept our water filled and kept checking on us. Everytime she came by, she was smiling....she is one of the best waitress we have had!!! The manager even stopped by to welcome us and to make sure everything was ok. Yes, we recommend this place and we will be back. P.F. Chang's has fallen far from where it once was. Had lunch here today and it was mediocre, expensive, and slow. The waitress was nice enough, but the overall experience was poor. I ordered the spicy chicken bowel with brown rice. Unfortunately, I did not get spicy chicken I got orange chicken. They were out of brown rice at lunch time and they were not sure when more would be ready, so we all switched to white rice. I did not get a bowel, I got a plate with orange chicken on one side and a huge pile of rice on the other. I am not sure how this place stays in business.
