This place is a favorite of my elderly dad and of mine. We truly enjoy the food options and the taste of what we choose. The servers are always attentive and friendly. I appreciate that the restaurant is clean and we always get a seat right away- even though they are busy. Twin Dragon is the best buffet we have ever been to. Recently, I called to complain about my bill, insisting we only had a party of three. However, I completely forgot that my son had brought a friend along, making us a party of four! The restaurant was absolutely correct. Despite my unreasonable complaint, the staff handled the situation with the utmost professionalism, patience, and grace. Very good for a Chinese buffet! Lots of tasty items especially the coconut shrimp and it's clean with a pleasant atmosphere. Service is very prompt as well. Of course there could always be a few menu items that could use improvement but most of what's here is pretty good. read more

This is our 2-3 times per month guilty pleasure! The food is always hot and fresh because it's typically very busy and items are turning over fast. The hibachi is great- love all the options and even though it gets crowded, you don't feel on top of each other. A small group of PCY Foodies, braved the weather to eat lunch today at the Twin Dragon Buffet & Grill. We were seated immediately, and gave our drink orders. We then went to pile our plates full of food. Of all the buffets that we go to, this has the largest selection of different foods. The weather affected the amount of patrons, so the food wasn't as hot as normal because they weren't replacing it as fast. It was all still tasty. read more

This is not a 5-star restaurant, but it's a 5-star Chinese buffet. It's very clean, very big, and options are excellent. Food was tasty, service was quick and polite. Our experience is always great! We just tried the take home buffet for the first time and loved it. It is really nice they offer that option if you do not want to sit down in restaurant, and if you don't want to order a whole order to go! The interior has tons of seating. We had got some food like to go but that was not a good idea. The box was filled with a lot of random stuff such as, fried chicken, a chicken tender, imitation crab, breaded shrimp, veggies, fried rice, steak strips??? (I believe) some chicken on a stick and a whole bunch of other random things. I was a bit disappointed because walking past the restaurant it smells so good but the food was question and bland. First off, this was probably the busiest buffet I have ever been to. There was a line out the door when we arrived and it took about 15 minutes before we were sat. This was completely fine with me because I assumed this meant the food was going to be stellar. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Most of the food on the bar was average at best and hibachi station is very small so it takes a good bit of time waiting to give the chef your food and then waiting for him to cook it. This restaurant really impressed me with its hospitality and variety. The restaurant itself is absolutely huge and was extremely busy when I joined a friend there for lunch a few days ago. Nevertheless, they seated us right away. One waitress was "stationed" to stand in our section to be available if anyone had any requests, and was always helpful and accommodating. The restaurant itself was large, clean, and decorated with a pond in the front lobby, which set a great tone. But mostly I was very impressed with all the options available to me. I could get a fresh stir-fry, choosing the ingredients from a separate buffet for a friendly cook, Mongolian BBQ style. And/or I could go to the ample buffet stations themselves, choosing from traditional Chinese dishes like Kung Pao chicken, Korean dishes like kimchi, a variety of noodle dishes, Thai dishes like chicken skewers, and even American dishes like fried chicken and french fries. As my friend said, "No matter who I bring here, they find plenty they can eat." As for the quality of the food, well, I tried to taste everything, and had a few favorites: I absolutely loved the long beans, as they were freshly fried and crisp, and found the corn nuggets crisp and tasty. There was also a miss or two: the salmon was so seriously overcooked it was hard to cut (well-cooked salmon should just fall apart in flakes), and the crab sticks were flabby and didn't have much flavor. But in general, the food was okay -- generally acceptable, a little bland, but not notably authentic or remarkable. I would definitely recommend this for anyone wanting to try a variety of dishes and get their fill for a reasonable price. And it's definitely a good place to invite a large group, as they can handle the crowd and everyone will be pleased with something there. Food was bland. Food that was labeled as spicy was not. Even the fortune cookies were stale. Hibachi was good, though. Service was awful. She brought me the wrong drink, it was never fixed. We asked for napkins and never got them, I had to go get some myself. We both ran out of drinks and she never brought any. My husband had to go get them himself. He had to get our drinks!!! Huge selection and a giant dining room to match! I seem like I make this observation a lot but people often give negative ratings because they judge a business outside of its realm and purpose. For example, being critical of a burger joint because they don't have table service and linen on the tables. Ok, that's exaggerating but makes my point. So in the realm of Chinese buffets, this is a really good one. Often Chinese buffets are kind of worn down, have bad service, dirty batherrooms, and mediocre food. None of these were issues here. Service was good and very well organized. Many employees were watching to ensure drinks were filled and needs were met. used dishes were cleared very quickly. The buffet was constantly being replenished and the dishes were not skimpy versions of Chinese menus. Some buffets water things down, add fillers of too much rice, and are short on the key ingredients. This was not the case either. The selections were many and diverse. There were more choices than we could ever try at once and we were sampling bite-sized portions. Everything we tried was good. There is also a Mongolian-style grill and we never made it to that area because there were so many other choices. The decor was traditional Chinese and a little extra like real chandeliers. Not too fancy and not too dark but enough to give the Chinese restaurant vibe whereas some lesser locations just offer a big dining room with little art or decor. Will we go back, yes. Shockingly so. When we left on Friday maybe 6-6:30 ish, there was a line out the door. Utterly bewildering. Service: If you like to be left to your own devices, this is your place. A smile and kindness go along way with the table service, based on observation, they don't receive either of those frequently. Food, the decent: miso "grill chicken" gyoza the mocha flavored roll as dessert by the sushi Food, the wtf: egg roll - tasted like peanut butter?..and had this ingredient warning on the label salad- how did it taste like nothing? There were toppings, there was dressing! Hawaii 5 - a 5 seafood dish (had to spit out) Sushi - tasted sus garlic shrimp - tasted like mold? Vanilla ice cream - literally the worst vanilla I've ever tried in my life! Panda Express tastes better than 99% of what I tried. Towards the end of the meal, everything became so unappetizing...I didn't want to eat the next day! And I had issues that night and the next day, because the food is so low quality. One of our guilty pleasures is a good Chinese buffet. I know, a bit of an oxymoron, but if your expectations are properly set, it can happen. Twin Dragon used to be one of our favorites. If we were making a rare trip to IKEA or the VOA area, we'd stop by. That's what happened this weekend just before a trip to Costco. What a disappointing visit. They were very busy, yet none of the food I had was to temperature. The usually attentive service was absent. Our plates were not collected. Drinks not refilled. The food generally lacked flavor, except the items loaded with spices where one would not expect such things. The chicken teriyaki was sour, and cold. The rice was lumpy. The wontons were chewy. Even the pasta, obviously not Chinese, tasted like they used ketchup instead of tomato sauce. From one of our favorites to a place we won't be returning to. read more

Generally speaking, it is hard to expect consistent quality from a large buffet. Twin Dragon is the exception. They have an enormous array of excellent Chinese food. My special favorites are the mussels and the shrimp mei fun. With our senior discount, the price is very reasonable. Given this cornucopia, it's easy to overdo - I try to limit myself to one plate. My family of 14 had lunch there on 12-13-25 and absolutely loved everything about it. This was our 2nd time we ate in their semi-private room for the Christmas holidays and it was perfect for opening gifts. The staff is outstanding, very accommodating and we never felt rushed. It's been a while but I finally got to return to this fantastic Asian buffet in Westchester. There is a huge selection of both traditional Asian fare such as pepper chicken, General Tso's chicken, etc. Also there is a good amount of sushi selections as well as a Hibachi grill. There is also a good amount of American food if you wanted something more familiar. My standouts were the Hibachi grill as I got a Lo Mein with lots seafood on it. Also of note was an excellent pepper chicken as well as a splendid Hawaiian chicken. I point those foods put but really everything we got was superb. The restaurant looked fantastic and our service was satisfactory. All in all this continues to be a top tier Asian buffet. Two thumbs up. read more

The price at Twin Dragon Buffet might be low, but the lack of cleanliness and care is shocking. The dining room is dirty, and the staff could care less about their customers. My wife and I felt like just another "paycheck" to them--there was no empathy or effort whatsoever. The pepper chicken was okay, but it's horribly unhealthy and tastes heavily processed. The worst part was the fried rice--it's hands down the worst I've ever had at any Asian restaurant. I don't even know how to describe the taste; it was just plain bad. Honestly, what can you expect from a cheap American-Asian buffet? Save yourself the risk. This place seems like a strep-throat and food poisoning hazard waiting to happen. read more
