Our family felt so fortunate to have found Christina and Shannon for our holiday family photos after our initial photographer was a no-call-no-show. They were great at communicating, they were excellent with logistical details, and were exceptional with our two young children + dog (so much so they had a passerby ask for their contacts on our shoot). We worked with Shannon and Christina on a newborn baby package. We were apprehensive about scheduling something as memorable as a photoshoot with an unpredictable newborn. The logistics needed for moving a newborn seemed overwhelming. PIC Photo was one of the studios that comes to your location. Initially we were skeptical about using our small place but they made it work perfectly. Most importantly they are extremely flexible during the photoshoot. They worked around fussiness, hunger, and a baby bathroom accident. At no point during the shoot did they rush through the process or pressure us into anything. They were also great with our baby. I have used Shannon & Christina for 3 photo shoots that I needed. The first one was about a year and a half ago, doing a Boudoir shoot. They made me feel so comfortable and uninhibited--exactly what you need when shooting something like that. Their photographs turned out so lovely and I couldn't wait to use them again. Then, remembering how much I love them, my (then) boyfriend decided to hire them for a photo shoot where he was planning on proposing to me. I had no idea, and again, their work turned out just phenomenally. They captured the moment perfectly-- the look of surprise on my face, the nerves on his, and the private moment we had by ourselves when we thought no one was looking. We then (obviously) planned on them shooting our wedding in two years, but when a family emergency came up and we needed to get married in 2 weeks, they were completely professional and willing to work with us on short notice to ensure that the moment was captured the way we wanted. They were prompt, professional, in tears during the ceremony (which to me shows that they actually care about their clients), and just amazing. Shannon & Christina are amazing. We booked a newborn session with Shannon & Christina 7 weeks ahead of our due date with an initial deposit. We contacted them again on the day that our daughter arrived and were set to for the session 7 days post delivery. The session itself was awesome. Shannon & Christina and arrived a little bit early to scope out our house for the best lighting and set up all the props that they had brought along. My wife was with them for the entire session and Shannon & Christina even worked with her to incorporate some of my wife's idea/props. Our baby was a little fussy at the beginning but Shannon & Christina were absolutely professionals about everything. They even took some pictures of us trying to sooth our daughter and one of the photos turned out to be our favorite. They took lots of photos with our daughter awake and asleep and were so gentle and kind to her. We received a link to the initial gallery within a week of our session to select which ones we wanted to keep. This was probably the hardest part of the process since there were so many beautiful pictures! Shannon & Christina quickly became a part of a little crew of angels who helped create the most magical day ever for our wedding... a stormy and gorgeous morning at Hakone Gardens in Saratoga that included a little pocket of surreal sunshine and crystal blue skies with fresh rain dripping off of the trees for our ceremony outside. Once I was able to pick one of their packages, which I thought were very reasonable. We soon booked a date for our photo session. Shannon and Christina were very professional and fun to work with. It was our first photo session and they made us feel comfortable. They had really good suggestions and were open to our suggestions to capture some of the best photos.
