So glad that of all the locations, this is the one we ended up stopping at because the customer service was great! The guy at the counter was very patient with us as we ordered and customized all our burgers (life with 3 picky kids...lol). He even let me try the special sauce with some fries to decide whether we wanted it our burgers or not. Once we got our food, the burgers were hot, fresh, delicious, and big! So were the orders of fries. Very filling. The restaurant was very clean and they also had outdoor seating. We had a very good experience and we definitely plan on making this a regular stop when we go down south. read more

I have always been a fan of this burger stand. They go out of their way to make a really good burger. The staff is usually very friendly and helpful. Kind of reminds me of a Chick-fil-A in in and out. As far as service goes. If you never been to P Terry's burger stand I suggest you give it a shot. You will not be disappointed. Food: I went with the bacon double cheeseburger and fries. They were extremely good made to order and very fresh. This is my go to when I come to P Terry's burger stand. The drinks are good as well. This was the first P. Terry's location that I've ever tried and my first visit was great. I got a cheeseburger and fries and knew I'd be coming back in the future. Unfortunately every visit after that hasn't been so great. On my next visit, I went through the drive through and they gave me the wrong order. I checked my bag and saw a burger and fries and thought I was good to go but when I got home I realized it wasn't the burger I ordered. Last year when we visited Austin, we stopped and ate at P. Terry's. It was so good that when we came out this way again, we had to go again. Because every P. Terry's has its own unique architecture, we went to a different location! :) Our experience was just as good as the first! A delicious, fresh-tasting cheeseburger and tasty fries, a delicious oatmeal chocolate chip cookie and refreshingly cold Dr. Pepper. The drive-thru wait time was reasonable (especially considering COVID-19) and the staff were very friendly. This location does not presently sell any t-shirts or other swag; unfortunate because I'm such a fan I definitely need a shirt!! Guess it's an excuse to go again before we leave. ;) read more

I was craving a good burger and homemade fries. Never heard of P Terry's before. Gave it a shot. I was expecting more of a restaurant but it was really clean and cute. Reminded me of an old burger stand. Plenty of seating inside and out. The burger was a bit small but had a great taste. For a guy, they probably need to get the double. The fries were home cut and some of the best I have had. Will for sure eat here again next time I am in town. read more

P Terry's food tastes fresh and good. It is also an excellent value. At this location, for our order, they would have gotten a 5* if the fries were hot (only warm) and the bathroom were in good repair (faucet was loose) and cleaner (spots on floor by urinal). Both easily remedied, but our experience. The difficult one is we could not sub a shake in for our drink on the combo - it was full priced even with the drink removed. BET!! For me, hands down the most improved P. Terry,s that I have experienced so far. Waiting to try the almost opened new one in Round Rock located by Kirby Lane on east side of I-35. But back to this Gem in Georgetown. I have secretly put them on the griddle six consecutive times over the last few weeks due to my honestly been a while retry experience a few weeks ago. They now serve name brand sodas! A huge improvement but not the best improvement. All six times & one was a double ordered drive through where one double had no tomato; most improved crunchy-crisp homemade fries that are no longer oil holding tanks and soggy for the customer. Clean inside and out. Every table ready unless someone is occupying it. Every employee, even in the drive through, is always masked up and changes to new gloves as they should. Restrooms immaculate. The best part, again for me, number 3 combo. Hold the sauce, light mustard, run it through the garden, crisp lettuce, onion, a nice tomato and every crisp & wonderful gourmet pickle laid beside each other (not stacked in a single pile) which Screams, " I care about you ", from the builder, melted- yes- melted slices of cheese on each Angus beef patty, and it is wrapped as a burger was meant to be wrapped. It is ready to eat!!! Stacked neatly, wrapped snug, hot and juicy! I am sure there are some doubters out there. I dare you to experience any different at the Georgetown location. Plus, two all Angus beef patties, dbl cheese with fries and a drink for 8.88, this delicious.....I am unaware of anywhere else south of the San Gabriel. Even north for that matter. AND here they will even grill your onions per request. I understand why new P.Terry,s are popping up all over.... Especially if every location is now serving, delicious, this way. I have always loved the Angus Burgers here but tolerated the fries & drinks from time to time. Some may not understand this compliment, I NOW consider P.Terry's the Modern Dirties of central Tx, UT Austin. up until right now this had been the worst of all possible adventures: no hot dogs, fried chicken, or roast beef sammiches in Illinois, Iowa, or Missouri... so while I'm near Austin I am totally crossing three lanes of traffic on the interstate to stop for P. Terry's!! not to worry, it's late afternoon in Tejas and most folks are either sleeping off yesterday's poor choices or planning some more for tonight. yea for dinosaur burgers! and they could almost be except that the 'P' is voiced (unlike in pterodactyl) which would have been a nice contrast to the totally Jetsonian architecture. seriously... getting my food here is a big part of enjoying my food here. the menu is limited to like three sandwiches (plus breakfast), fries, two types of sweet, plus fountain and other beverages... got me a burger, fries, banana bread, and a large orange drink and al hamilton still payed for dinner. nice! It's a no for me! I absolutely hate repeating myself but as someone who has worked in fast food before I always give the benefit of the doubt that maybe it's faulty equipment however in this instance this was just poor listening skills. I was literally being rushed to order but constantly being asked to repeat myself..make that make sense. When I did speak I was spoken over..which is pretty clear that would be why I was unheard. After the agony of placing the order got to the window and asked the girl who'd taken the order to read it back to ensure accuracy and of course the order was wrong which would have been no biggie since it was beforehand but she had the audacity to be annoyed that she was asked but had I not my order would have been wrong. Management please teach your staff that as a paying customer you want what you ordered and if you listen the first time this entire type of experience can be avoided making it smooth on both ends. The food was pretty good hence the 2 stars..that was the saving grace. Not sure about whether I'll return or not..maybe but I'd def preorder and avoid the human interaction. read more

The strawberry milkshake tasted exactly like McDonalds and that's not such a good thing. The architecture and design is stunning, it looks like the designer from The Incredibles built this place, looks like it's a 1960's futuristic. The only saving grace would have been their burger, but the patties were just barely bigger than the patties you'd get from a Mickey D's $2 burger, and completely flavorless. Same with the fries, no flavor. The Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookie was so bad I only ate about it 1/4 of it. read more

I rarely complain. but the breakfast meal I had at this location was HORRIBLE. one of the worst breakfast I've ever had. I ordered breakfast sausage egg and w/potatoes with a coffee. a regular breakfast. AWFUL. the coffee was undrinkable. the potatoes were undercooked and unsalted. the sausage was undercooked as well. i guess P.Terry should stick with burgers for lunch & dinner and stay out of the breakfast game. ZERO STARS. I returned the disgusting food and asked for my money back. I told the manager she should be ashamed of herself to let something like this be served at her restauran. Good, fresh burgers but fries are unbelievably greasy. Edible, but very very greasy. Friendly service, fresh food, clean-ish establishment. No one bussing tables and went to several tables before we found a clean one at 8 PM. It wasn't busy so I don't know what the problem could have been. We only get to have P. Terrys whenever we are driving down from DFW and this location is always good! If you come during a busier time then of course there may be some dirtier tables, but it's always well maintained overall. We love P. Terrys and this location has never disappointed! Okay burger place. Smallest burgers of any burger place I've seen but definitely larger than sliders. Beef is tasty but the fluffy white bun is flavorless and lacks any character at all. (Their buns are like Wendy's.) French fries a pretty great. My wife and I used the drive-thru. This is the second consecutive time I've placed an order thru the P. Terry's drive-thru and had an issue. The previous time was at the Parmer location so I will presume this is the P. Terry's "norm." You charged me for an order of fries that were conveniently left out of my bag. Somehow NOBODY checked my order before it was given to me. When I got home 20 minutes later and opened the bag - voila. I phoned the store and asked that they refund the $2.05 and they told me they could not do that. The best and only option was for me to drive back to the store within a week to come get my fries. I was traveling home thru Georgetown and not spending gas money (likely more than $2.05) plus my time to come rectify YOUR MISTAKE. You can consider this the last complaint from me - I will never eat at your stores again b/c when you screw up it's up to the customer to fix it. Shame on you, Patrick Terry. You should be able to provide a refund to customers for items they are shorted *WITHOUT* inconveniencing the customer. I was already irritated that my order was wrong.
