Piss poor service. 11/16/21 9pm. After I repeat the word "cheeseburger " 3 times in your drive thru and you can't hear me it's probably a good idea to turn your headset up or put it on your head. Then when it's obvious you are not listening and I get tired of repeating myself all of you are rude because I pull to the window to order. Why are u mad at me for your own incompetence???? Started coming here every Tuesday due to my schedule and my love for their food. Incredible burgers, awesome chicken sandwiches, above average fries, friendly faces. In the times that I've visited this location, the thing that strikes me as soemone who sees and identifies problems and solutions to efficiency is this: the store is in a very good location on 35 and 29, the real estate works great for efficiency with two drive thru lanes and a large kitchen and lastly, room for improvement in management. It seems like the drive thru takes an amount of time that would irritate most people. Two lanes makes you think that someone is thinking about being quick, but it's typically a "put the car in park 6 times before exiting with food". These types of issues typically need management to be present to ensure customers and getting in and out with a good experience. I appreciate that every time I've been in, the fellow who runs food and payment has apologized for the long wait, which basically means that he's not given the tools to work as efficiently as possible and he knows it. If anyone in-store reads this, recognizes the problem and wants to spit-ball on improvement, don't hesitate to reach out :) Again, I love the food, love the location and I'll be back every week regardless! read more

I just got food from here. Used a coupon that was mailed to me after I wrote a previous review of terrible food at another P Terrys location. This experience was on par with the other. The fries were so greasy, soggy and lacking salt. The burger was flavorless and just gross. We ordered a coke and sat at the window for 3-5 minutes waiting on that, after they gave us our food... the coke had no carbonation 10/10 wouldn't recommend. Not coming back. Used to love P Terrys and go to the one on Lamar and on William cannon. The new ones are gross and always a let down. read more

You can't just put 3 tablespoons of minced jalapeños on top of a plain breaded chicken patty and expect to compete in the recently ongoing Hot Chicken Sandwich War. Please go back to the test kitchen and don't come back till you have a real contender. We've been eating at P. Terry's since the first one opened in Austin 15 years ago. We were so happy when they opened here in town so we went Opening Day and many times since. We go often enough to know they have worked hard to get through newly-opened issues. We love their food, the prices, and their service! Never heard of this place. It's the only burger joint between my son's practice and the house. So we gave it a go. From the time we ordered to driving away, all of 7 minutes went by. The food was hot and seemed pretty fresh. When I reached in the bag, I was surprised by the size of the hamburger. It's about the size of a junior burger from Whataburger... maybe smaller. Guess it's probably the right size compared to the rest of the world. The burger did seem fresher than a normal fast food chain but needed more flavor. I got the number 1. My son got the chicken burger and loved it. The fries were piping hot and were not salted. They also needed more flavor. Like the seasoning you get at Charley's. All in all, on late nights we will be going here to get a break from the lord's chicken. read more

There is literally always a long line anytime I come here. The food is okay. It comes in clutch when needed. I typically get a veggie burger with onions and jalapeños, no cheese, and fries. One time they forgot the onions and jalapeños and put pickles instead. Last time, they got my order right. I will say though, they have the best fries of any fast food establishment hands down. It would be amazing if they'd start serving the impossible burger or the beyond burger. Overall, if I need a quick meal, you'll likely find me at P. Terry's. read more

A+ for Covid-19 compliance, friendly staff, and quality food provided at record speed! Really impressed with this new location after my husband and I went through the drive thru for double cheese burgers and an Oreo milkshake (YUM). The woman taking our order had gloves and a mask on and we swiped our own credit card through her machine. The man who delivered the food provided our order on a tray and we were the ones grabbing the food off the tray, totally contactless. We will definitely be back! read more

Sooooo excited P Terry's is finally in Gtown! Went yesterday after work around 4:15pm and I can honestly say with COVID-19 going around this has been the absolutely CLEANEST place with the BEST hygiene procedures in place for employees( or at least from my perspective). They take your card with a Clorox wipe, wear gloves the whole time, hand you a tray through the drive through window so you can grab your food off of it yourself. They really trained their employees very well for being so newly opened, having to do this during these crazy times, but operating so smoothly. I will most definitely be a frequent customer here. P Terry's has never failed me. Keep it up y'all! read more

Went this morning for breakfast. Emily was person who took my drive-thru order but the ticket says Britney. So who ever it was on the speaker, her welcome tone, cheerful attitude was great! The breakfast sandwiches are inexpensive and came hot. The breakfast potatoes are my favorite and were fresh, hot!!! I always get some banana bread to eat later in the week. I've been a P Terrys frequent customer since it opened and the drive-thru line is getting slower and slower. We waited 30+ minutes at our most recent experience. Absolutely awful. Bad for the environment. Doesn't make sense given the small uncomplicated menu. They may say it's bc food is made to order but I don't buy that bc they always have burgers on the grill. It's clearly an issue with the process and this needs to be addressed pronto. Such a disappointment. Soggy fries too. read more

During this time we're all extremely cautious and if you're not you should be. Yes the drive thru worker had on a mask but the person bringing the food to him had a mask on but pulled down and hanging around her neck which kind of defeats the purpose of wearing a mask. My second qualm with this location is you need to check bags prior to giving them to customers, if you're anything like me you're not going to touch your food until you get home and wash your hands so that makes it difficult to dig through a bag and open sandwiches to ensure what is ordered is there. It is absolute horrible customer service for me to get all the way home to find out that my food was missing items and incorrect. I guess in the future one should bring gloves and dig through the food bag while sitting at the drive thru window so that you can get what you paid for...get it together PTerry's signed an unhappy customer read more

I've eaten at P. Terry's in Austin and South Austin mulitple times, and our grand daughter likes to go there. So tonight I was in Georgetown and decided to stop there for a burger and MY GOD what a dump. They had only had one side of the kitchen operational, so there were 6-10 people waiting around for their orders, and lines in the drive-through were so long they were blocking cars in the parking lot. When my burger finally came after a good 15 minutes of waiting it was the most pathetic thing I've ever seen. The meat was maybe 1/8 or an inch thick and completely tasteless. The fries were dry and wilted and the drink was watered down to the point that it too had little to no flavor. It certainly didn't taste like Coke. I should have gone to Five Guys or In-n-Out burger but as then say, hind site and all. I do know that I will never go to P. Terry's Georgetown again, and probably no where else either. I have a feeling they are focused on the lowest end of the "fast" food markets. I left the restaurant without finishing my food. YUCK! read more
