Just a nightmare. I bought bathroom vanity was told 2 weeks for delivery. End of 2 weeks no phone call. I called them. Woman said I have to check something I'll call you back. 1.5 hours later called was told vanity was discontinued. They allowed me to pick another. It was delivered the next day. It was damaged. Attitude flows from the top-down. John, the kitchen designer, is the only one there with a human conscience. He deserves better than having to be there. "They don't care about the $100 they made from me" was what Steve said. He said that without knowing what my order was ($900). He and his customer service team have personality issues they need to work out. None of them should be in a public-facing business. Their behavior is criminal. STAY FAR AWAY FROM PA HOME STORE. They lie about everything. His bad-mouthing is so bad that he, in fact, told me not to believe what the girls say up front to me because they don't know anything. First, insult your girls; then on top of it, one of the girls up front has the name "Peter". Does he even know who's working there? The girls up front that are nasty are Janet and Liz. If you call them once for an update, they put you on hold for 60 minutes waiting for you to give up or they do the honors and just hang up on you. If you call back again because they didn't give you an answer, they tell you that you've called too many times. He really needs to re-evaluate why he's in business at all as a miserable person running a good business with bad morals and a customer service with the lowest-grade personalities I've ever met. This store is THE WORST. We ordered a 72 inch double bowl vanity two weeks ago Saturday. Total price of over $1,800. We were told that the vanity would be delivered the following Friday. We arranged our contractor's work around the arrival of the vanity. That Thursday we received a call that our vanity had been sold and delivered to someone with a similar last name and that we would need to wait another two weeks for the vanity to be ordered and delivered. We were told that our only other option was to cancel the order. When we asked to speak to the owner or manager we were told no. When we asked to have the delivery fee waived because of their mistake and the extra cost we had to incur because of their mistake we were told no. The owner is a spineless coward who refuses to speak to customers on the phone. The staff is incredibly rude and couldn't care less about their customers. This place is a horror show and if you do business there, you need to have your head examined. Buyer beware. We ended up ordering the exact same item from Home Depot on sale for $800 less with free delivery. It was very satisfying canceling the order from this shit hole. read more

I love this place, just posted a review on Google. Steve has the best selection and prices (HALF of what other places quoted us). His team delivered on-time, no hidden costs, and any issues (minor) are being tended to with kindness and professionalism. Steve was the most knowledgeable person we dealt with in our shopping around. He does not have a "warm fuzzy salesperson" schtick- and doesn't have to because his prices are so good. He IS honest and fair, and even some granite companies I called for price quotes spoke highly of him. Avoid this place for auction items. I won an item through HiBid, when I arrived they had no idea where the items were. 20 minutes later while I stood in there cold building they located them at the opposite of the building. I was asked to drive over and retrieve my items. When I arrived at the truck drop off doors they were closed and no one was there. 20 minutes later I called and the person who answered said they didn't know I was waiting and would come up and let me have my items. I was loaded with the wrong items, I live an hour away. I came back to exchange and they didn't have the items. They later said I switch items out and refuse to give me a refund. Pete helped my wife and I design a beautiful master bathroom as well as our kids' bathroom. We had lots of choices and the quality of the cabinets exceeded our expectations. After our drawings were finalized, they were emailed to us and we "sat" on the them for a while. We were never pressured to get the order in and we were not "upselled". We both regret not ordering our kitchen cabinets from there. The most impressive interaction we had was the extraordinary effort used in getting our cabinets to us. The manufacturer had a delivery issue due to a holiday. We freaked because the granite guys were coming to measure. Liz and Kay were on it! They sent one of their guys to pick up the cabinets. Do not waste your time - Just go to Home Depot or Lowes. I purchased Enigma-X Frameless Glass Shower Doors from PA Home Store. I was told that although Home Depot and Lowes sell the same product, their quality was superior. The only document I have from the purchase is my signed, paid receipt which clearly states +++++ Return Policy: All Returns - Store Credit Only +++++ The threshold on my shower pan is too narrow to accommodate the glass doors. I tried to return the doors and exchange for a different product. The owner would NOT accept the return. He said the manufacturer would take them back with a 75% restocking fee. I visited my local Home Depot and Lowes stores the very same day. Both store managers assured me they would have taken the product back. Save yourself time and aggravation. They talk the big words but they do not deliver. They give you all sorts of promises but it is all lies. The owner is the worse person that would lie to get your money and good luck getting the product. I was promised three weeks maximum for the product to arrive and did not get the product for 6 weeks. You may be drawn there by the prices but do yourself a favor and (REALLY) compare to Home Depot or Lowes. This summer we were in the process of remodeling our kitchen and bathroom. We were referred to PA home store. While in the store we had a great experience, but that is where it ended. We picked out a beautiful bathroom vanity and a faucet that the salesperson recommenced. It looked great! However when it was installed, the faucet was not right for the sink. Water was flowing over the front of the sink. We were not able to return the faucet. In addition, the vanity had a matching mirror, which we ordered. The cost of the mirror was around $200. After doing some research I found the same mirror at Home Depot for $95. Same band, color and size! Then I looked up the vanity at Home Depot as well, it was available for $195 less that we paid at PA home store. When we were in the store, we were told we were receiving a discount.....Stay away from this place!!! The have huge mark ups on the products and make poor recommendations! Awful experience dealing with "Liz" and PA Home Store in general. We order items for a bathroom. (Tub, vessel sink, cabinet, wall/floor tiles) Was told all items would take three weeks to arrive. Six weeks later we had all our items. Including the wrong tub size and cracked sink. Employee Liz never kept me up-to-date with any problems that she was having obtaining my order. I went to the store at least five different times to pick items up. Received a cracked sink which Liz explained was not there fault because they do not check items when they received them from the manufacturer. Prices were better than most but horrible service just ruined the experience. If you're planning simple to moderate renovations to take six months or more then roll the dice. But any sooner than that you are doomed. read more

The company did not use the measurements provided to do the kitchen design. Instead they relied on a layout from a different store. This caused problems because they didn't carry the same size cabinets which resulted in multiple delays in shipping the goods. Afterwards the had they audacity to blame me for the issue and then bad mouth me behind my back to the contractor! A complete lack of professionalism. read more

On 6/6/2013 I placed an order for a vanity with the PA Home Store (which I paid for up front and in cash). They told me it would be done within 2 to 3 weeks. On 6/25/2013, I still hadn't heard anything from them so I called them back. The person who answered the phone didn't know who I was, seemed really confused and said they would call me back. On 6/26/2013, they still hadn't called me back, so I called them again. The woman who picked up the phone gave me an attitude and told me that it should be done by 7/5/2013 but she wasn't sure because of the 4th of July holiday. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and figured I would hear from them by 7/12/2013 at the latest. 7/12 came and went but still no call. I didn't call them the next week since I was traveling for work but 7/19/2013 came and went and they still didn't call me back. Today (7/22/2013), I called them on my lunch break. Again the person on the phone seemed confused and couldn't give me an update but said I would get a call back by the end of the day. At 4:30 (when I was leaving work, I decided to stop by to see what was going on. When I stopped in and told them who I was, they knew immediately what was going on. They told me they ordered the wrong color cabinet. They didn't apologize once. Not for the error, not for the extreme delay or the lack of communication. I couldn't be more upset with the lack of professionalism I've dealt with and at this point, if they actually get me my vanity by Monday (7/29/13), like they promised me today, I'll be shocked. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I would not recommend this store to my worst enemy. We ordered our entire kitchen through them and it was a complete disaster. So many errors on their part and when you call they're rude and act like it's your fault. I was exchanging 2 cabinets and they told me i owed $900. Fully fought with me on the phone insisting I owed this amount. When I asked for a break down of pricing they refused. Called me back 10 minutes later apologizing because they did the math wrong and I owed $180. They make everything feel like your fault. They delivered the back panel for our island in the completely wrong color. I couldn't fit it in my car to exchange and they were going to take 2 weeks to deliver- my contractor had to drive 1.5 hrs to do the exchange. To say they're awful is a complete understatement. I've had nothing but a positive experience with PA Home store. We remodeled our home and bought a ton of stuff from the store! We bought kitchen cabinets, tiles (for 2 bathrooms and a kitchen back splash), a bathroom vanity, a Jacuzzi tub (original price was $2k and we bought for $500) and a bunch of other stuff.
