Pablo y Pablo is one of my favorite restaurants in the Wallingford-Fremont corridor. I love the casual bordering on fancy, yuppy-hippy neighborhood in the city restaurant vibe. They make good drinks but I tend to only want their double house margarita with chili salt on the rim. It goes perfectly well with their chips, salsa, and guac. Their various bowls and tacos are delicious! It often gets crowded so I highly recommend making a reservation.

*My go to for a blood orange margarita on a sunny day in Seattle. Pablo y Pablo is a great place for happy hour with a friendly patio (the tables along the windows have heaters overhead for when the weather changes). The nachos (with a vegan option) and street corn is the perfect hh order for two and the portions for the nachos is quite generous. But we went with the street tacos this time (and the ceviche which wasn't on hh) and I would say the rockfish and carnitas were the better ones to order.

05/23/2026 Got here on a Saturday around 5pm without a reservation. They still had happy hour until 6pm. On happy hour (HH), I got the Green Chile Pineapple Mule (delicious), and we tried the classic nachos per the waiter's recommendation. The nachos were good with thick crunchy chips. You can add meat to it too, but we opted not to since we were also getting tacos. I got a baja fish taco which was on HH, and an al pastor taco from the regular menu. Fish taco was great. Al pastor was different - I'm used to it being either grilled or cut from a vertical spit. This was a slab of marinated pork, which was totally fine, but the flavor was just okay - I wouldn't order it again. My friend enjoyed her two carnitas tacos (on HH). She also got the piña granada mocktail - it was delicious and had a beautiful pink color from the pomegranate. Service was good until the end when we were left waiting a while to get our check. Another server saw that we were waiting and took the initiative to close us out - wish I got her name to give her a shoutout!

Liked the long, skinny dining room where my hubs and I had more roominess and privacy at our table.

Tried Pablo y Pablo for happy hour at 4:30pm on a weeknight last month and it was a delicious experience. We tried the chips and salsa, the braised pork taquitos, and several different tacos ($5 each). We had the pork belly taco, chicken tinga taco, and baja fish tacos. Everything was good but we both liked the fish tacos the best. They are fried and they give you a nice big hunk of fish. Because I can't eat dairy or avocado, our waiter suggested I get their vegan aioli on the side. So glad he did because it was delish! We liked all the special touches from the beautiful blue-and-white patterned plates to the dim candle lighting to the nice bathrooms with surprisingly pleasant-smelling hand soap. Servers were attentive and friendly throughout our dinner. Everything was tops. We will definitely be back!

Pablo y Pablo has lots of menu options and serves cozy, hearty food that fills you up really well. Everything tastes great and is satisfying. The only downside was that the food took a while to arrive, which slowed down the experience a bit. Still, the quality and warmth of the dishes make it worth visiting.

Socially distanced patio seating even felt a little romantic!

I was in the city again so where did I go to eat? Pablo y Pablo...twice...because I was that serious about them. Food/drinks: Vegan nachos with carnitas -- check! Still huge portions. Still delicious. Still gluten free friendly and dairy free. Watch out for jalapeños; the seeds are definitely in. Mulled wine -- yum! Agave daiquiri -- strong, interesting, wasn't my fave (didn't finish it). Sangria -- solid! Service: A little more than fine. Friendly. Helpful-ish. Checked in at the beginning but less so by the end both times (when a check in would have been useful). Food comes out quick. Ambiance: Still cute for happy hour, friend meet ups, date nights, etc. Not hurried or rushed. Consider a reservation if you want to be safe. Why 4 stars? It's really 4.5. Honestly, service plus the menu changed in the 2 days I was there, and I missed out on the hot chocolate drink I reeeeallllly wanted. I wish there would have been a heads up that I was getting the last day of the menu. Hope it's not another 3 years before my next visit P y P!

came here for Seattle restaurant week as we had heard really good things. We got here about five minutes before our reservations and it seems like they were very slammed and we had to wait for about 5 minutes until we got seated, they were very nice about it and I didn't really mind the vibe is very nice and fun and the restaurant is very long. Overall all the food and drinks I thought were just okay, maybe I ordered wrong bc I keep getting recommended the margs. The lychee prickly pear one I ordered didn't taste very strong of lychee or picky pear but it is very very pretty. I thought the ceviche was just okay and not very flavorful , same with the corn. I liked the tacos fine tho. Overall not bad for a Seattle restaurant week deal, but I don't think I'd come back for the food maybe I'll try more cocktails tho

street tacos which were all just fine and had some interesting ingredients - but not exceptional

I came for their Tofu Bahn Mi taco, because mixing Vietnamese and Mexican modern cuisines is my jam...but it was NOT available on a Saturday brunch. Meh. The drink selection at this nicely appointed dining room with glass walls overlooking the street and the utility waste transfer station opposite were swanky! I loved the "strawberry" horchata. My friend got a lovely tequila spirit drink which was subtle and less than a margarita, also with a strawberry twist. Their side dishes of green rice (arroz verde) and stewed beans were show stoppers. Could have made an entire meal of that alone. The habanero salsa was nowhere near as "spicy" as I expected. It was actually pleasant. Guacamole was also subtle and nice. We had a selection of tacos, baja fish - just fine oyster mushroom - just fine vegan chorizo - okay I've had better, rather too mealy meat chorizo - reportedly good In short, an elevated Mexican dining experience that I would repeat because of the fine setting and the beautiful bar. However portion sizes on the salsa were far too skimpy. I thought rather tight fisted on the basics.

This is a great brunch spot; cute and lively ambience, good food, and friendly service. Food is flavorful and they have a pretty decent brunch menu. I had the pork belly Benedict. Eggs came out hard boiled, but they quickly gave me a set of poached eggs which were actually runny...so good save! The sauce had bold flavors; the pork belly was a little dry but they give you a big portion of pork belly, so that made up for it. My son had the taquitos off the kids' menu. It wasn't bad, but it may have been too "fancy" for him...the lettuce, cheese, and sour cream were garnished on top, which he immediately wanted off! I personally appreciated the presentation, but kids may not. I've had the tacos before... they're yummy and have unique flavors. This place usually hits the spot for a fun and yummy Mexican brunch.

Across Seattle you will find good Mexican restaurants and you will find bad Mexican restaurants, but you will not find a Mexican restaurant with the level of taco ingenuity of Pablo y Pablo. Their lead taco artist is a creative mastermind. A composer of brilliant taco ballads. Bahn Mi taco? They got it. Duck meatball taco? You bet. If you're ever curious what it is like to have your favorite food from outside of Mexico in a tortilla, this is the place to go. Purposefully untraditional, and intentionally delicious. They have a screamin' deal every Tuesday that is worth coming in for. 6 tacos, chips and guacamole, 2 margaritas, and churros for something like $30 each. The churros were pretty weak though, almost like little munchkins from Dunkin Donuts. Pablo y Pablo is solid by most measures. It's more of a fun place to hang than a place that is going to blow you away with its food.

Pablo y Pablo is my go to brunch spot after visiting Fremont Sunday market. It has great fresh ingredients and the portions are enough for two meals. The server came straight to us any time we signaled and we were served fairly quickly. I love the cute decor and the big window brings in lots of light. The bar also looked like it had great options even though we didn't order any thing. As for the food I loved the quality of the ingredients but I wish there was more flavor. I think the green sauce on the chilaquiles was a bit bland. I wish there was more salsa to make it more flavorful. Still yummy tho and def worth a try!

Cute place for tacos and drinks! They have a great happy hour with great prices! If it's hot out I would recommend sitting outside because the inside gets quite hot!! The service is okay, but cute place overall! (7/10)
