Stopped here to split a pie with my friend on a chilly Monday evening. One thing that they'll proudly advertise here at the TangleTown Public House is that they're open on Monday's, seemingly a jab at many restaurants on the man stretch of 45th as well as Tangletown proper that are often closed on Mondays. It shows as most of the folks here looked like regulars getting their evening sips and outside of that, pretty empty, weekends however it livens up and there even appears to be a stage for music. The restaurant has sort of two sections one with more table like seating and on the other, bar counter and high-top seating. The draw here are drinks, with decent beer selection. My friend and I decided to split a pie - A Keystone - Zoe's pepperoni, aged and fresh mozzarella, Parmesan, Red sauce. As someone who openly trashes Seattle Pizza, I have to say for bar pizza, it wasn't bad. 4 slices between the two of us for $25. Dough tasted good as did all the ingredients. I would consider coming here again and would recommend if you're out looking to share a pie with some friends. The snag was my friend got an Arnold Palmer, and they charged like $6-$7, like c'mon really, it's not even spiked. There is an outdoor area which is nice. Overall though Tangle Town Public House is pretty good and seems to be the anchor of the "Tangle Town" part of Wallingford.

Tried this place for the first time and absolutely loved it. I sat in the bar area and my server was Sydney. Super nice guy that was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, and also about music which we talked about at great length. I got the Grinder sandwich which was amazing. I will definitely go back here.

Average wings and pizza. They have a lot of outdoor tables which is nice! Consistent neighborhood spot

This casual pub-like spot serves drinks, pizza, appetizers, wings, and cheese boats (kachapuri!). The Caprese ($15) was quite nice. We also got the Sausage Boat ($20), and OMG, it was a cheese lover's dream! Stuffed in fluffy baked dough were gooey, melty cheeses, along with creamy ricotta and savory sausage and a zesty-sweet tomato sauce. The staff was very polite and attentive. :)

Oh man where do I even begin.... The food was incredible. I tried multiple items and here are my thoughts Garlic Puffs that everyone talks about was worth getting, it's kind of like the puffy version of mozzarella cheese sticks in a sense The roasted pork belly gochujang was SUPER DELICIOUS, great pairing with beer for sure Dave's Pizza was amazing, generous amount of toppings and pizza dough taste very fresh Do NOT sleep on the Fried Green Tomatoes caprese because that was by far the best food item on the menu for me Italian Meatball Cheese Boats was really good and cheesy, it was also my very first time eating cheese boats and I was satisfied. I also ordered the blueberry whiskey sour for my cocktail and it was a solid choice because I like my drinks fruity. Parking is very convenient around the blocks, free street parking The service is just like regular pubs so nothing above and beyond service The ambiance is much better than I would expect, they serve brunch on Friday-Sundays and it is kids friendly also. I'm definitely taking my family back because this is definitely a hidden gem in North Seattle.

1st things 1st... Lusty Margarita. Been here twice! I got the Lusty Margarita and Mango Tango with Mimi's Coconut Prawn salad Friend had the Rice Soup of the Day and I wish I had got that too! They have brunch menu Friday-Sunday 10:30-2:30! Indoor seating and patio seating with good casual music. Also has dinner menu. Go check it out and support your local business.

Delicious food and really cool spot right next to green lake. The cheese boat and the Korean flavored Chilean wings are amazing! The pizza is great too. Come check it out!

GREAT food, excellent beer selection, friendly service and a great atmosphere. I love that they have big windows they can open up when the weather is nice. The garlic puffs are to die for, my salad was excellent and I saw the cheese boats that are on the menu go by and they looked delicious. We will definitely be back!

As a cider fan, I was especially happy to see a solid variety of options. Although I had a frustrating experience with the kitchen, but I'd still come back. It was an especially hectic day with multiple events and a soccer game, so it seemed like everyone arrived at once. I ended up waiting about an hour for my food, which was disappointing. That said, the staff handled the situation really well, there was consistent communication, and they took the time to engage with us, which I appreciated. Still, the kitchen delays and order issues shouldn't be overlooked. On the bright side, the drinks were excellent and reasonably priced. They also have a great selection of games, which I'm looking forward to trying next time. The location is another plus, just a few minutes' walk from the T-Link, making it very convenient.

Still decent, just not something I'd rave about. The mini golf is definitely the highlight. It's really cute how the course spells out "SEATTLE," and I loved the little Space Needle to end the last of the mini golf holes. That said, there are only 9 holes and they're pretty small, so it goes by quickly. Drinks are all on tap and feature local/Washington breweries, which I really appreciated. I love supporting local! We came during their February deal and it was such a great value -- $45 for a pizza, two pint glasses to take home, two drinks, and unlimited games. Honestly, that made the experience feel totally worth it. Duffleboard was fun, though it looked a little outdated. They also had cornhole and a ping pong table, which made it feel like like there variety of things to do. Loved the vibes/ambiance (fun art and murals) and music. Overall, a fun spot for a casual hangout -- especially if you catch one of their deals!

The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

We got lucky, it was 4th of July weekend, so it was busy! We ordered pizza for the table and for my toddler. It was really good! He loves the pepperoni. My order was the salmon burger. They used a good slab of coho, nicely seasoned with a aioli. The fries were crunchy and nice. I shared with my husband and it was just right, since we had a bunch of apps at the market. We also got a round of beers. Or in my case I got their hard seltzer, which wasn't too bad, I would probably just get a light beer next time. Service was great outside! By the time we had dinner, although hungry, it was past 8 and we needed to eat a little lighter and mostly had apps, so not sure how light that meal really was. Everyone enjoyed their dish. Because it was a bit cold, my younger sister got the fried chicken ramen. Fried chicken was not chicken katsu but fried chicken. The chicken was a bit salty while the ramen had a good amount of spice to it. Ramen broth was really good, especially on a cold night for me being from Hawaii. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the cheese perogies. I enjoy perogies and haven't had any while on this trip to Seattle so a bit of a bummer. It was more like cheese ravioli.
