We also ordered off the $10 snack: chips & guacamole and small classic nachos. The food and drinks were sooo yummy , I especially loved the nachos and mule. Taco Tuesday set comes with 6 tacos (needs to be 3 sets of same 2 tacos), 2 margs (house or blood orange), guac and chips and 2 cookies for 60$ in total. We ordered Baja fried fish tacos, soft shell crab tacos and banh mi tacos. The tacos are pretty big size and surprisingly filled me up a lot. All the taco flavors are great. The margs are small size but smooth tequila. The desserts are two giant cookies. I wish they gave me more options with what desserts I could choose from. So Pablo y Pablo is more well known for their lunch and dinner offerings but my wife and I went for breakfast and it did not disappoint. I ordered the brisket skillet (pictured) and my wife ordered the veggie scramble. Both meals were very tasty! The skillet included brisket, peppers, pico de gallo, avocado, eggs and a crema to finish it off! I really enjoyed how it all came together. As for the coffee, no espresso offerings but it was good as far as breakfast cafe coffee goes. There was little to no one there, so it was a bit of a weird vibe. But that's circumstantial. There were 4 of us so we thought we would share some chips, salsa and guacamole and then get an entrée. Out of the salsas we decided to try the rhubarb ginger salsa. It's more like an accompaniment than a salsa. It was watery, flavorless and had a ton of onions in it. We asked our waiter if it was supposed to be that way and they replied "yes", Seeing the look of displease on our faces, they brought us the roasted jalapeño salsa. We took a 7-8 mile walk around South Lake Union and decided to take a breather at Pablo y Pablo in Fremont--a perfect weekend pit stop. Their shrimp ceviche didn't hold back, and the draft Mexican beer was just what we needed. The menu's fusion twist surprised us; I tried the banh mi pork belly tacos. They could've used a bit more fat on the belly, but I still happily polished off three spicy, juicy tacos. My girl went for one of their best sellers--the fish--and she's already planning a return visit next week for more. Next time, we're thinking of grabbing some churros to enjoy at Gas Works Park if the weather's nice. There's still so much to explore on their menu, but we're definitely appreciating the Mexican food spots popping up in Seattle--we need more like this! read more

Such a unique dish and definitely will be returning for that. 4 stars for the shrimp taco. It tasted fresh and good but the texture of the whole thing is a bit boring. Wished the shrimp had a more grilled texture, they tasted bit soft like they were just sautéed. Toppings we're good although this should be eaten when it's fresh. Our food took long to come out since the kitchen got busy and it seems like they forgot, so we had to ask about it (don't think this was the waitress' fault). First time here and we're already excited to go back! Our friends checked this place out last week and it was so good that they brought us again for brunch. Parking is on the street but it's easy to find a spot. We came on a Sunday around noon for brunch and I was surprised they weren't packed, considering their indoor areas is pretty small (they also have a tent outside). We were seated right away in a corner facing the street so we had plenty of sunlight and a view of the bar. Service was quick and everyone was nice, which made this experience even better. We got the Carnitas Hash which was loaded and easy to share for 2 people. The flavors were delicious and every bite was better than the last! The pork belly Benedict had great flavors as well but the poached eggs were over cooked...the runny eggs and the hollandaise are supposed to be the staple of a good Benedict. With that said, I'd get it again because the pork belly has nice and smokey while the hollandaise was rich and creamy. Arguably, this place has the best Masa for tacos all the times I have been here, the protein can be more frequently a hit and less frequently a miss. Only complaint- bring me the heat, spiciness in the salsa please...! I have only tried their tacos 3 times so far and got to admit some of them were downright amazing. My favorites for their consistency in quality are the baja crispy fish and the softshell crab. The chicken ones (Fried and chipotle braised) have been a disappointment just one time, but good the other two. The grilled shrimp were average.
