    Lychee prickly pear margarita
    ThuyVy N.

came here for Seattle restaurant week as we had heard really good things. We got here about five minutes before our reservations and it seems like they were very slammed and we had to wait for about 5 minutes until we got seated, they were very nice about it and I didn't really mind the vibe is very nice and fun and the restaurant is very long. Overall all the food and drinks I thought were just okay, maybe I ordered wrong bc I keep getting recommended the margs. The lychee prickly pear one I ordered didn't taste very strong of lychee or picky pear but it is very very pretty. I thought the ceviche was just okay and not very flavorful , same with the corn. I liked the tacos fine tho. Overall not bad for a Seattle restaurant week deal, but I don't think I'd come back for the food maybe I'll try more cocktails tho

    CLASSIC NACHOS

Best nachos everrrr. The seating is kind of uncomfortable but worth it for the food. Would recommend

street tacos which were all just fine and had some interesting ingredients - but not exceptional

I came for their Tofu Bahn Mi taco, because mixing Vietnamese and Mexican modern cuisines is my jam...but it was NOT available on a Saturday brunch. Meh. The drink selection at this nicely appointed dining room with glass walls overlooking the street and the utility waste transfer station opposite were swanky! I loved the "strawberry" horchata. My friend got a lovely tequila spirit drink which was subtle and less than a margarita, also with a strawberry twist. Their side dishes of green rice (arroz verde) and stewed beans were show stoppers. Could have made an entire meal of that alone. The habanero salsa was nowhere near as "spicy" as I expected. It was actually pleasant. Guacamole was also subtle and nice. We had a selection of tacos, baja fish - just fine oyster mushroom - just fine vegan chorizo - okay I've had better, rather too mealy meat chorizo - reportedly good In short, an elevated Mexican dining experience that I would repeat because of the fine setting and the beautiful bar. However portion sizes on the salsa were far too skimpy. I thought rather tight fisted on the basics.

This is a great brunch spot; cute and lively ambience, good food, and friendly service. Food is flavorful and they have a pretty decent brunch menu. I had the pork belly Benedict. Eggs came out hard boiled, but they quickly gave me a set of poached eggs which were actually runny...so good save! The sauce had bold flavors; the pork belly was a little dry but they give you a big portion of pork belly, so that made up for it. My son had the taquitos off the kids' menu. It wasn't bad, but it may have been too "fancy" for him...the lettuce, cheese, and sour cream were garnished on top, which he immediately wanted off! I personally appreciated the presentation, but kids may not. I've had the tacos before... they're yummy and have unique flavors. This place usually hits the spot for a fun and yummy Mexican brunch.

Across Seattle you will find good Mexican restaurants and you will find bad Mexican restaurants, but you will not find a Mexican restaurant with the level of taco ingenuity of Pablo y Pablo. Their lead taco artist is a creative mastermind. A composer of brilliant taco ballads. Bahn Mi taco? They got it. Duck meatball taco? You bet. If you're ever curious what it is like to have your favorite food from outside of Mexico in a tortilla, this is the place to go. Purposefully untraditional, and intentionally delicious. They have a screamin' deal every Tuesday that is worth coming in for. 6 tacos, chips and guacamole, 2 margaritas, and churros for something like $30 each. The churros were pretty weak though, almost like little munchkins from Dunkin Donuts. Pablo y Pablo is solid by most measures. It's more of a fun place to hang than a place that is going to blow you away with its food.

Pablo y Pablo is my go to brunch spot after visiting Fremont Sunday market. It has great fresh ingredients and the portions are enough for two meals. The server came straight to us any time we signaled and we were served fairly quickly. I love the cute decor and the big window brings in lots of light. The bar also looked like it had great options even though we didn't order any thing. As for the food I loved the quality of the ingredients but I wish there was more flavor. I think the green sauce on the chilaquiles was a bit bland. I wish there was more salsa to make it more flavorful. Still yummy tho and def worth a try!

    *STREET CORN

The ambiance was nice, and the service was fast. I was seated right by the restrooms in a completely empty side of the restaurant of course (I'm a POC). The food was incredibly mid!! My pork belly was hard and basically fossilized. Host was kind and friendly. Waitress could not care less, maybe she was going through something. Even my 7 year old was curious about what was wrong. I've been to their other location (permanently closed), and I loved it. My drink, their mule, was the only thing I enjoyed. Really bummed the other location closed. Happy Cinco de Mayo y'all.

Such a fun spot!! We went for happy hour and the weather was nice enough to sit outside - scenic. The food is really fresh, and delicious + the margs are great. More upscale Mexican food.

Came here again for a birthday! They were accommodating to our large party, and even gave complimentary desert for the celebration. The papas are to die for. Imagine an elevated Taco Bell fiesta potato's. Insanely good. First time having the banh mi taco and it was very good. The fish taco was great as well and they weren't skimpy with the size of the fish they gave me. Margs were strong and yummy. Overall recommend.

    TETELA - yum!

My best friends and I came here for happy hour and we had an amazing time. I know we can be a tough bunch: gluten free, dairy free, and vegan. However, we were really impressed that all the dietary needs were met and the food was delicious. I joined my sister and had the vegan tacos. The tofu banh mi is to die for. The vegan dessert was unique and nothing like I've ever had. The horchata is dairy free and wonderful. I believe our server's name was Alberto and he was so kind. Took all our allergies into consideration and was very knowledgeable of the menu. I think this will be a regular spot for us here on out!

Yum yum yum. My friend and I recently came here for a nice weekday dinner - without a reservation, we were seated immediately. The classic marg? Yum. It had plenty of salt and was incredibly refreshing. This was arguably some of the best guac I've held - I loved the kick from the jalapeños and the raw onions sprinkled on top. Chips were served fresh and warm! For dinner, I got the chicken enchiladas - you get a choice of red or green sauce, and I went with red. They were hearty and delicious. I couldn't finish them because the portion was great! My friend had the fish bowl and loved it / he definitely finished his whole plate. Overall, just a fun place with great service. While we got there too late, their happy hour options look great!

I went on a Monday evening at 6:30, and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. The ambiance, with its dim lighting and candles at every table, makes it a great spot for a date night. I ordered the banh mi and pork carnitas tacos along with the chicken tortilla soup. The tacos were delicious, but while the soup was flavorful and I loved the fresh slices of avocado, the texture felt a bit watery. I also tried their popular blood orange margarita with a Tajín rim. I'd definitely come back to try more of their tacos and margaritas!

Came to Pablo Y Pablo for Cinco De Mayo. a decent crowd but we were able to secure some seats fairly quickly. Got in just in time for some Happy hour Margaritas which were good. You have the option of doubling it or getting a pint for $5 more - which is nice, and thinking back may have been the better value. To start was chips and guac of course. Not bad, not exceptional, a bit high at $12, the chips of course are unlimited. Along with that got crispy Brussels topped with nuts. I got the beef birria quesadillas (that I actually think were just tacos) a continued favorite of mine at mexi spots and it definitely hit the spot in the way of cheesy goodness. -corn tortillas (Which I am always pleased to see), Oaxaca & jack cheese, jalapeño salsa, cilantro, and of course with broth for dipping. There was plenty of it too. My Buddy got 'Taco duos' and they got the thumbs up from him. The food was really good, I found things to be a tad pricey though, especially being that I've had birria tacos about as good, for comparatively cheaper. Still a good time though.

All the drinks were ordered were quick and tasty. For those that cannot drink beer, they do have Twisted Tea on tap which is somewhat carbonated which is fun, unique and refreshing. Went on a weeknight, and saw that they had Blanton's. May be the cheapest price for a pour of it in town. Since it was only a few bucks more than a standard bourbon and coke, asked for a Blanton's and coke, which got some laughter, good played heckling and jokes from the bartenders. (obviously I corrected myself and did not get it with coke). Pool tables look nice and in good condition. Lines for a table were pretty long, but there was a group for a birthday party there squatting on one of the tables all night. It just needs a jukebox and for smoking to be allowed. Beers are cheap, especially the large bierstein drafts you can get for like 8 bucks, where as a pint anywhere else would cost you the Same. Food is also pretty inexpensive. Even in my last visit they lump my tab with my friend but a pint, ginger ale (my friend skipped beer this visit) and an order of chicken tenders was like $17, I was surprised. The outdoor patio is nice and there is a fair amount of seating inside. Some of the downsides are the staff can be hit and miss and there is only one register so lines for drinks can get long, fast. If you see the line short, jump then if you can. Besides that Lenys is like my favorite dive bar - cheap drinks and food, sports and good atmosphere.

I have to say, for the price the food and drinks weren't at the level I expected. We ordered nachos, crab Rangoon dip, and pretzel bites. The nachos were probably our favorite, but they weren't anything special for $22. The Rangoon dip was mostly cream cheese and barely had any flavor. I think they were depending on the nori chips to bridge the gap, but those didn't taste the greatest. Finally the pretzel bites were okay, but nothing I couldn't get at another gastropub for a much lower price. The drinks were fine, but not that strong.
