I am also a certified Instructor in other fields (which I did not disclose). The instructor for this class, Lorenzo Conyers, was outstanding. Lorenzo was friendly, well spoken & very clear with all explanations. He invited and entertained all student questions without judgement or insult. Lorenzo had the perfect personality and attitude (not drill sergeant style) to make all students feel comfortable (especially those who were handling a handgun for their first time). I wish I had more time to speak with him personally. The facility was perfect for this course, and the atmosphere was comfortable and very welcoming with drinks & snacks. The entire staff was very pleasant, inviting and informative. Several of us were new to firearms and he presented the material clearly and thoroughly. His focus was on making sure we were comfortable, understood the material and could safely handle firearms. He encouraged and answered every question sincerely and patiently. It was an awesome experience. My wife took the class with ""Toby" and she felt the exact same way about him. In our time since the classes, we have met the owner, several members of the sales and range safety team. To a person, they are outstanding. They all engage quickly to help, answer questions and give advice. Many of them have a rich history in the field or military background. I have not encountered a business where from top to bottom the staff is so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The store had a great selection of supplies, ammo and forearms and has great prices. The range is clean well lit. Extremely highly recommended. Our experiences with Vantage Point has been so positive, i felt compelled to write a review.
