My husband saw a flyer for this place for their black Friday special. Having no knowledge of this place, I looked them up on here. The bad reviews here, didn't scare me a bit, but decided to go in and get it done. And I am very happy that I did! My only compliant was the music was a bit loud. But every bad review I had read, did not happen to me. I got a very friendly experience, my tattoo has turned out wonderful. And we were walk ins. First off I want to start off by saying the tattoo came out perfect the artist that I'm not gonna mention did a great job only reason I'm not giving them a five stars is for the fact that my artist informed me that he would need a hundred dollar deposit to buck my appointment, not knowing that those hundred dollars would not go towards the tattoo so basically if they ask for a deposit that's more like a tip to them you won't get the credit to the tattoo I feel like this is a shady way to conduct business and I will never come back to this tattoo shop if that's the way they run business. read more

Honestly this shop is way to hyped up. The tattoo artist was unprofessional. The artist thought it was cool to vape in front of me while we took breaks in between the session. Line work was terrible. I loved the tattoo when he was done but as it was healing I noticed the areas in where he messed up. I got a pretty big tattoo so it was pricey. I expected exceptional work but was very disappointed. I've gotten a few tattoos done here from different artist. Everyone has their own talent and certain things they're particular great at. Look into that before you decide who you want to tattoo you, duh. 3 people I recommend from seeing their work are Hershel- tattoo shop owner, super professional has his own style of tattooing. Been in the business as a tattooer for a while now. Super great at script and he did my favorite piece on my body which are the roses on my shoulder. Look forward to getting more work done from him. He has in own clean style and I personally dig it. Daniel- even though that other girl wrote bad things, don't let that fool you. It's ridiculous how she felt obligated to talk down on him when she never even got tattooed ! Anyway He is very talented and I always see great work coming from him. Robert- I've never gotten work from him before but I plan too eventually. If you want portraits or realism tattoos, he's your guy. You can tell in his work , he's been tattooing for a very long time now. Overall I strongly recommend this shop to my friends and my fellow yelpers! I've been coming to Pachuco tattoo to see Danny for about 3 years now and I've gotten a total of 5 tattoos. I only trust Danny and he takes his time and is truly a perfectionist when it comes to his work. His work is always on point and no matter what I want tattooed he gets them perfect. Unfortunately I wrote this review way too soon. My tat healed HORRIBLY; in fact, 4 diff shops say they have never seen scarring so bad. I followed Herchell's instructions to a tee. I have 2 other tats with color from the past w/ absolutely No Scarring ...other artists believe he overworked the tat (all scarring is in the areas he did the shadowing.) this is my main issue: his lack of professionalism w/ following up & his desire to fix his own work. I would text him questions about the tat, send pictures etc. & he RARELY responded - sad, especially with him knowing how bad it healed & all the scarring. I was soooo stressed about this tat (it's huge & ugly) and he would respond to my texts WEEKS later. Or, I would have to text 3-4x just to get a response. Every time I called he never answered, so I tried making an appointment just to talk and that didn't even work. I finally gave up and just as I expected he never followed up. He initially offered a free retouch but clearly he did not mean it. Finally he tried to blame his unprofessionalism on some stomach health issue he had, but so interesting that he stayed posting on Instagram multiple times a day but couldn't respond to a paying client's text message. I DO NOT recommend Herchell, biggest mistake of my life literally. I have a huge ugly faded PERMANENT blue blob on my shoulder with MAD scarring. read more

Don't be fooled by the pretty pictures. That won't be the finished result once the tattoo is healed. I had my tattoo done by Herchell, a cover up, and I am beyond disappointed. It was done 3 months ago and it already looks faded, and it's not what I asked for even though I showed him what I wanted was his own work and you can see the entire old tattoo. There's no depth in the tattoo, it's flat. I strongly suggest for anyone wanting to get a tattoo by someone in this shop to ask for references and take a good look at the finishing result. I went in a couple of nights ago to talk to Daniel & ended up talking to rusty, who was very polite & helpful, because Daniel wasn't there after he told me he would be. He then told me to come in at 5 on Sunday to get my tattoo done & didn't even show up, no text or anything. I waited around for 30 minutes before I got upset & left. The place seemed unprofessional overall with guys yelling at the football game & drinking beer in the waiting area. I recently went to go get a tattoo with RICO. He did an amazing job. Me and my sisters got a matching tattoo we had an idea of what we wanted and he made it so much better. Before starting he printed out a lot of sizes to see what size we exactly wanted. He was very patient and attentive. (PHOTO INCLUDED) Probably the worst tattoo shop I've been to. I went here with my boyfriend and his friend and they both got beautiful pieces, once it was my turn (with the same guy) i sat down and the guy proceeded to tell me he needed a break and left for an hour. Once he came back I showed him my artwork (a very basic, clean diamond) and then he sat me down to start. He didn't even clean or sanitize my arm!? gross. Anyways once the tattoo was done it was super super swollen so it looked all dark and crisp as I wanted. Once finished he didn't wrap it or apply any aquaphor/ointment. Mind you, I have full sleeves so I know how to properly take care of a tattoo so it heals perfectly so the outcome of this tattoo was not on my part. I can't explain how much I hate this thing it literally looks like it was drawn on with pencil by a half-blind 3 year old. Can't wait to get this thing covered up. Unfortunately I can't even remember the guy's name but beware of this place. read more

My friend recommended this place, so we booked an appt to come see Jake. I wasnt nervous at all, in fact, I was relaxed. I went first. Jake helped me calm down by having me take deep breathes.
