Great little store. I popped in while visiting San Diego from North County and their new location still has the same great feel as the old one. I picked up a few items that were very well priced and enjoyed looking at all of the other jewelry and rocks. Cesar was particularly helpful with showing me items that were in cases and polished a silver ring I was wearing that was super tarnished and, I thought, beyond fixing. I definitely recommend visiting this store. While I didn't win the lotto this time (they give lotto tickets when customers walk in) I'm sure I will have many more chances as this is now a favorite and even closer to my errands in San Diego versus their old location. read more

Just wanted to clarify, the top box with the green pendants and where the actual label for black onyx is are two completely different boxes stacked since someone went as far as to find me on IG and message me that i should use my eyes to see that the box is obviously mislabeled...they are two boxes...my sister and a few friends have since gone here to make sure it wasn't just me and unfortunately I can now safely say it wasn't the one lady it's the whole staff. My family and friends who have visited are all under 30 so be warned if you look younger you might have a similar experience here. Will definitely have to look elsewhere for our supplies. read more

Ever south sun beads closed years ago, I have been looking for another warehouse bead store. Lo and behold I was recommended this place and when I walked in it was the same owner! Super friendly guy and he still gives out lotto tickets! They have a much smaller bead selection, maybe 1/8 of the size of south sun but they now specialize in crystals. I go to Tucson gem show every year so I very rarely buy crystals from any shop. All the crystals are sold by weight and I was expecting them to be overpriced in comparison to the gem shows but I was pleasantly surprised! They get their stuff straight from the mines so it's sold at really good prices! If you are looking for raw or polished crystal pieces this is a great place to go! They have gemstone beads and a small selection of pearl and glass beads. Nothing in comparison to the original store but I'm happy to continue to support their business. They also have a pretty big selection of silver jewelry which I didn't check out but definitely next time! They don't have much in the way of findings mainly beads. But they do have 20-70% off everything. And hey there's a chance you can become a millionaire shopping here! read more

I came here with my mom. She originally knew the owner when the store was located on Ruffner Street and called prior to coming here just to make sure. She is out of town and wanted to specifically come to this location so I drove her here. She enjoyed all aisles of the store, we spent about 20 mins looking around at all the gems. She was looking specially for pearl and noticed that they were on the back wall, being participially blind, it was difficult for her to see from that distance. We waited by the counter, she then asked the lady may I get closer to see the pearls the lady said if you give me a sec I can help you out after this customer. Another customer stood in line and we waited patiently. A couple minutes go by now an additional 2 more customers. We waited about 10-15 mins and still no help. Yes, you're at the right spot. The parking lot is big. The entrance is a small door at the back. No, it isn't shady. There are friendly staff inside and they don't bite. In fact, the owner will greet you and hand you a lottery ticket upon your entrance. This is a good spot to get your bead supplies and anything for jewelry making. They have big rocks and displays for sale by the entrance too. I've been there a couple times to get stuff for my "projects" (which sometimes might end up in the bottom of my drawer). Their prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly. Sometimes they can be busy with other customers and you'll just need to wait for your turn since there were only about 4 staff working there when I went. I had been to this location before they moved and LOVED it, I felt that they had amazing customer service and was excited to show my family and friends this spot to look for some great jewelry. I just left the new shop location and it felt that the employees could careless why I was in the store. My friend and I were looking for rings. I was looking for a gift and we would make little comments on the type of ring we had in mind but it was clear that the women helping us wasn't listening. Such a cool place! You would have no idea it's there and that it's so big inside. They have so many amazing crystals, beads, and basically anything you need if you want to make jewelry or do crystal wire wrapping. They have beads made out of glass, plastic, and different stones. Everything is color coordinated/organized which I love as it makes it easy to find whatever you're looking for. Their prices are awesome, especially during holiday sales. Once I got to San Diego, I went straight onto Yelp to look up how many crystal stores were around and was so glad I found this store! Once my Mom and I walked in, the store owner gave us a lottery ticket. That was so sweet of him :) I was amazed at the collection of tumbled stones, spheres, and towers that they had. I wanted to grab one of everything but had to control myself. They also had a lot of beads as well that were 80% off. Their prices can't be beat! They moved!! I went to the new location and it is wonderful! The service is stellar. They helped me find exactly what I was looking for. The sales people are so helpful. I'm grateful they made it through COVID and now have a new location--away from the acupuncturist. They seem to be shifting focus. But the customer service is the same. Schlomo and his team genuinely care for their customers. Sometimes it gets busy, but they take time with each customer, waiting for help is worth it. They tried to sell me a Ruby Kyanite but called it the wrong name. First of all, if you work in a crystals store, you should know your crystals especially if you want a sale. The gentleman that assisted me was very friendly and helpful. Upon my arrival, he asked me if I was a first time customer. I told him that I was and he preceded to give me a lotto ticket which I thought was funny and kind. The organization of the store is very simple, with thousands of beads to choose from. Including some crystals and geodes. I bought a few crystal pendants there along with some jump rings and clasps. The clasps and jump rings are expensive, better off going to Michaels or Hobby Lobby. The only reason why this establishment received 3 stars was due to the jump rings not being "cut" (as in they couldn't be separated).
