I told him that I'm not interested in this service because I did not order it through . When I called Spectrum, they said no, we don't have that order in place. That means the , who like a pimp with an earring and bangles and stuff, was essentially lying and trying to put an order through. This is called slamming and it's against federal law. I'm gonna go to the Chatsworth address tomorrow take photos and report them to not only spectrum Internet, but also the . Hopefully I can get them shut down.

I approved the appointment date and time as well as agreeing to be home to unlock the backyard access. Spectrum said they'd give me a call 90 minutes before their arrival. Much to my surprise, the day before the agreed upon appointment, a guy who said he was from HG Communications just shows up (in an unmarked pickup truck no less!) and says he's here to replace the cable. I asked why Spectrum wasn't doing it and he said (in broken English), "No, Spectrum contracts out to HG." I said, that was fine but also told him that HR or Spectrum never gave me a heads-up that they were coming a day early! Totally unprofessional of HR and, at the very least, inconsiderate. I mean, what if I wasn't home or was going out? I was supposed to unlock the gate and put my large dogs in the house. If I hadn't been home when this guy showed up I'd have to wait until another opening was available. With that said, the worker, Frederico A, finished the job successfully in short order, and I made sure to tell him that my complaint wasn't his fault. I assured him that I would give him a good review. As for HR Communications (whose phone number listed on their website as (818) 341-4171 was inactive) get your customer service in order and show some consideration with a call when you need to change pre-set appointments! I'm sure you don't want to lose your lucrative Spectrum contract.

    I've been with DSL Extreme since 2001. Yes, the original company was sold to Ikano Communications…read more Yes, they are an AT&T/Verizon reseller. Now... my local Customer Service rep (in Chatsworth, probably working from home,) is Dumitru H. A squirrel managed to chew through my 1GB fiber somewhere between the POI at the house, and 1/2 way to the box. The one thing I'll observe is I'm also a heavy AT&T Wireless, and former AT&T DSL customer. And the one thing I really dislike about AT&T is their robochat customer service which is like they're firewalling their actual technical service reps behind endless chatbot questions. My local DSL Extreme rep, Dumitru is really good at navigating past the firewalls because... as a reseller, DSL Extreme is considered an AT&T Enterprise/Business customer, not an AT&T consumer customer. As such, Dumitru was kind enough to furnish the AT&T Express ticket query information so I can also keep up with whenever the outside line technician (the MST) actually checks his work queue and shows up to re-run the fiber. It also exposed how the original 2 AT&T techs ended up delaying the repair because the first blamed it on a de-construct order at the switch, and the 2nd was an inside-only network engineer and had to refer it to MST. I'm sure eventually 5G will be deployed in my Bermuda Triangle area of LA that only has weak 4GLTE (I'm using a Verizon MiFi with 2 bars of signal right now on backup). And that might be the fatal blow to all direct-wire, cable and fiber internet. I've even been considering Starlink (Order now to reserve your Starlink. Starlink expects to expand service in your area in 2023. You will receive a notification once your Starlink is ready to ship. $110/mo for service and $599 for hardware. Wee...) But I also have backup hotspot via the iPhones with a couple hundred GB available, so I can be patient. DSL Extreme's one odd quirk for me has been they generally don't tell you when your contract is up for expiration (at which time your monthly billing will roll to the pre-contract rate). You can extend your contract by year at any time towards the last couple months of it, and freeze the prior rate, or upgrade and re-contract for a higher service, often at a similar or lower rate. I tend to do that, so over the past 5 years, I've jumped from 20Mbps to 40Mbps to 80Mbps to 100Mbps to 1000Mbps service at almost the same price per month. I won't do cable, I haven't got T-Mobile or AT&T 5G available, and Frontier/Verizon/Google fiber isn't in my area yet after 6 years. And as above, my experience with AT&T Internet support (not available from the local stores either) keeps me with DSL Extreme. Ymmv. But before the squirrel, my avg. was 980Mbps Down and 995Mbps Up.

I got an offer from xfinity for their $30 customer service and took it. When I asked DSL extreme to disconnect their service, they sent me an email saying they were working on it. No disconnect date, final bill, instructions on whether to return their equipment, etc. When I called to find out and mentioned this, the customer service rep just chuckled, before hastily arranging an email to provide the info I was lacking. Nice. Glad to see the back of this outfit.

I placed an order for a phone to pickup at this store specifically because it was a store relatively close to me that had "24/7 pickup" through lockers. I received an email within a few hours of placing the order that said "Good news, your order is ready. It's available 24/7 for pick up by you or any of your Account Managers. " Great! Everything on track. So I show up at 9 pm and.... the store is closed, as expected. But what's unexpected is that the lockers are locked IN THE STORE, behind the security gate. It's not 24/7 and it's a completely dishonest approach they're taking. I spoke to a CS representative via chat and she says "I can confirm that this available for pickup 24/7" but that I should pick it up tomorrow because the store is closed. Either Verizon is intentionally dishonest or unfortunately stupid but either way, they're scummy and do not tell the truth... ever. Plenty of other competition in the market that offers much better pricing... maybe they're dishonest too, as I'm not sure, but at least they're not committing highway robbery with each monthly bill.

Out of frustration, I was determined not to cheap out and dug into the options. Ubiquiti had a solid reputation for quality and reliability, so I went about finding someone who handled their products. Yelp was a great resource and I narrowed down my choices to LA Wifi Guys, as their information gave me the most confidence. Made an appointment and David came out. Really liked his approach. Honest and transparent and not hustling me for upsells. He described my options clearly and it was easy to decide what I wanted. Not cheap, but very fair considering the higher quality solution and more experienced installation. It actually cost notably less than my original set up, which was done 6 years ago and had less features and most of all turned out crappy. David gave me an estimate for parts delivery, which turned out to be exact, and we made the install appointment for the day after. He came in and was very polite, careful and steadfast. He also was great at explaining how to operate my new system. But most of all, weeks after the install, I am sooo happy with it! Really great setup with excellent user interface and excellent camera resolution. I've already shared videos and stills with the neighborhood (as we are having coyote issues), and it was so quick and easy to do. A+++ experience all around! Thank you so much, David!

Attorney Rodriguez is a gift to the profession. Unlike others, she actually listened with human kindness and empathy. I finally felt heard and seen. After which, in blunt, plain terms English, she broke my case down in understandable layman's terms and options. Fact: Walking through her door was/is one of the best decisions I've ever made and most certainly plan to retain her when/if the sh*t hits the fan. I trust her (period)

Unfortunately, I did not achieve the objectives I had hoped for, and my situation worsened during the course of representation. My case took a significant amount of time to get filed, and communication with the attorney was challenging. During our three in-person meetings, no clear goals or deadlines were established. As a result, my family and I faced serious consequences, including the risk of foreclosure on our home, the repossession of my truck, and significant emotional distress. An emergency bankruptcy was filed only after my truck was repossessed, which left me unable to earn income. This, in turn, affected my ability to make Chapter 13 payments, leading to the dismissal of my case despite my efforts to secure employment. I was not notified when my case was closed and only learned about it through a letter from the court and a different attorney who informed me that my mother's home was at risk of being sold by the bank. I found the lack of communication and clarity regarding my case deeply frustrating. In my opinion, the attorney abandoned my case and has not responded to my attempts to seek clarification or answers about the court correspondence I have received. While I acknowledge that my financial difficulties are ultimately my responsibility, I sought this attorney's help in good faith to navigate my circumstances. I had hoped for more proactive communication and exploration of alternative options, such as filing a Chapter 7 bankruptcy, which might have better addressed my situation. My mother also had a case with this attorney, which was similarly discontinued. However, in her case, the attorney made an effort to notify her and connect her with a different attorney. It remains unclear to us why her case was not pursued further. I want to emphasize that my experience with the attorney's paralegals was excellent. Carmen, in particular, went above and beyond to assist me and was consistently available to address my concerns. I greatly appreciate her efforts and professionalism. Based on my experience, I would not work with this attorney again. However, I encourage others to conduct their own research and make their own decisions when selecting legal representation. Edit: To retaliate is to return a harmful action with another harmful one, often in an attempt to get revenge or "even the score". Some examples include throwing a rock after being hit with one, a manager firing an employee for filing a complaint, or a country imposing tariffs after another country imposes them.     Dory was the person who helped me out with my request to repair a gaming console. A handheld in…read moreparticular called the legion go S among many others on the market. I had an accident where I stepped on my legion go s screen and it shattered. I didn't expect it to break the entire screen, but only crack a portion of the screen. The fragility of the screen is significantly worse than I thought. I talked with several other tech repair shops and either they did not answer my request for a quote, took way too long to answer or gave a response that they could do nothing about handheld repairs, some gave bad replies. He was the best of 8 different tech repair shops I have encountered and not only the best, it was a landslide better than the competition. The only real issue I had was a very high price premium to fix my device. It was about half of what the actual device cost. Of course I got it on sale for about 700$. The service, labor and total cost to repair was $335. So, almost half of what I paid for the device at Best Buy. I learned not to place this fragile handheld on the ground to prevent it from getting damaged again. Overall satisfied with the outcome and Dory did fix it. Personality was good and time to fix was roughly 2 hours. Parking lot structure is terrible, not enough space and many other places nearby. There are other parking structures as well but it may get towed or even scratched due to compact spaces. Also a little unsafe as there are some loitering. Overall, It's good but not the greatest in terms of value but Dory been doing this for many years roughly 15 as I recall.
