OMG the worst customer service ever!!!!! Lets face it, getting a new phone on a good day is like being "water boarded" and then you get sales person from hell ! Yes ,Alex from the Porter Ranch ATT. I have a corporate account with many lines and I am trying to get one of my employees a new phone, and this guy went postal and I mean postal . He started off telling me what he cannot do for me and within 5 minutes all I heard was I can't do this I can't do that. Never heard how can I help you never. When I pointed this out to him he hung up the phone refused to answer the store phone and 3 hours later the phone is still not being answered. He refused to help my employee and his conduct was like a spoiled immature child. I can't imagine having one of my employees behaving like that but apparently at the Porter Ranch ATT you can expect it. The good news in this review is my employee went to the ATT store in Northridge on Tampa Ave., and got excellent service and they got the sale. So take my advise if you want to be helped by a very unprofessional person that looses control without warning the by all means head to Porter Ranch ATT, but if you want to be treated like a valued customer then head to ATT on Tampa Ave Northridge. read more

Cashier, Vanessa is awful , I bought a new phone and went there to return my trade in tonight. She said she couldn't accept my phone and go to another store because I bought new phone thru online first time, so I was about to call the customer service then she changed her word to accept it and gave me the receipt, bit there is not any phone information what I returned and even no telephone. I asked her print details then she started to yell at me and said she won't, even she used bad words to me. I got shocked and ask my phone back, bit she denied either and said she asked me to another store , I didn't so it was my fault. I went to this store around 10:30 Nov 20. I wanted to ask a question about my account. Only one of the person "Alicia" who work there wanted to help. But first I got stack by wolfs. I get inside of the store and every one ask questions at the same time. I was explaining what I need and intend ask for more information they were so rude saying that any of them understand what I want. I got overwhelmed because they were talking at the same time. Also right away they told me to call costumer. They told me I was rude because I asked who was helping me. I did not at that time if any wanted to help me. DO NOT SHOP HERE!! The folks at this store located in Porter Ranch tried to steal from me twice, totaling 720 dollars. I visited the store twice this week to upgrade two phones. The first, with Jefferson and the second with Alica (manager). I realized later when I received an email from ATT confirming the "plan changes", I made. Each time I upgraded, they each added a $10 per month program where I could upgrade my new phones early. Neither of them asked my permission. I called Customer Service. They informed me that the store added the program. I went back into the store, where Alica lied and said she told me about the program. She did not! I pointed to Jefferson and said he had done the same a few days earlier. He did not deny it. And the manager, Alica insisted that the Next Up Anytime program is Auto Enrolled, and they had nothing to do with it. I spoke to Customer Service again and they confirmed it is NOT auto-enrolled and the folks at the store commonly do this. I've made a formal complaint with the folks in Dallas, and they seem to be interested in pursuing this. read more

Let me start by saying I hate ATT. They talk backwards and forwards and everyone gives you a different story every time you talk to them. HOWEVER, the guy (and I feel awful that I forgot his name) who helped me at this ATT store in person was phenomenal. This review is just for the person who is managing the store at the moment (may 23rd at 12:24pm). He said his name is Paul but I'm not sure if that's correct. The person is beyond absurd in terms of customer service. He does not know basic info and showed me abundance of attitude. When asked about manager and what time she'll be available, I was told off. I am heading to corporate office right now to complain about this. Such people should not be allowed to be customer facing. This is not the kind of customer service I'd expect from AT&T. read more

Joy the Manager of the AT & T Store is fantastic. The poor woman was the only employee at the store around 11:30 or so & there were 4 customers in the store including the 4th one, me. She was overrun yet did an incredible job handling 4 customers at the same time by herself. She was polite, friendly, super efficient & knowledgeable & worked non-stop to deal with all of us with no one to assist her. I can not say enough great things about Joy. Of all the AT & T Stores in LA, I will now always go to the Porter Ranch Store because of Joy. She deserves a huge raise! I wish all managers were as good as Joy! read more

The manager is useless. Spent an hour+ at this location to get a black iPhone, where I was told they had and had to wait 15 minutes for the safe to unlock. Safe unlocked, turns out the wrong color phone was taken out. Had to wait another 15 minutes for the safe to unlock again, turns out they don't have the phone I want. Wasted 30 minutes already. Then spent another 30+ waiting to put an order to ship the phone out to me because the sales associate needed the manager to authorize it but the manager was not home and was unreachable. The manager then tried to have the associate convince me to come back tomorrow. Fuck you guys, I work the next day and I'm not wasting anymore time dealing with you people. I had to get rude but the associate finally got the manager on the phone to help get the phone shipped out to me. I don't blame the person helping me, but the manager was useless. Either change your store policy that managers do not need to authorize these issues, update your systems to be accurate about what's in stock, or be available for when your sales associates call you. read more

After having an issue with my phone all morning. Due to SIM card issues. Customer service told me to go in a get a new SIM card. To which I understood since SIM is not up to new tower compatibility. It was replaced & phone still didn't work. Was told needed to buy a new phone & plan. Have had this plan for several years & not under any contract.Yet, have a new phone. So I walked into this AT&T store with a big issue my iMessage and FaceTime were not activating unfortunately. Even though we couldn't solve the issue, my experience here was great. Noemi took her time and walked me through the process, while the manager Ruzanna entertained me with new devices and upcoming promotions, and finally, April, took her time and made sure my experience was going smooth. This is the worst AT&T retail store that I have ever dealt with. They totally don't have any idea what promotions AT&T has. The sales rep does not know about different phone features, plans, or prices. The sales person gave me the wrong information about how their promotions on trade-ins work and I ended up wasting a lot of time on the phone with AT&T trying to fix their mess. Absolutely horrible experience! When confronted about the mess he made, the sales person was very rude and sent me to deal with everything online and refused to help me any further. Alex, the Store Manager was also totally useless and not interested to talk with me or meet me to resolve the mess that his staff person made. Do not go there - complete waste of time and money! I went last Feb to upgrade to i12. Nothing but lies and hassles from a woman who wouldn't give me her name when I came back to fix the issue. She also laughed and ridiculed me in front of other people. Originally she appeared helpful but confused about different plan options. Back in Feb. she lied to my face telling me that my plan isn't going to change, while at the same time cancelling it and adding extra, roughly $65 per month worth of charges. Unbelievable, I didn't think people like this exist much less lie to you blatantly without any remorse or regard. It took three hours at the corporate to undo the mess. Never will I ever go to any other than corporate much less Porter Ranch AT&T. I wouldn't even give it a one star, but no option for zero. read more

I went to buy my wife a new phone. I went to the apple store twice and att northridge both with my her ipad, nobody could help because I didn't have her icloud password and I was not the main person on our buisness account. Rossana at the porter ranch att had zero issues had me change the password on the account and transfered all the data from the ipad to the cloud to the new phone done in 15minutes. She should get a raise for being so helpful and savvy. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would! By far the worst ATT store you could do business at. They are flat out thieves! I traded in 2 iPhone 10x for 2 new iPhone 11 Pro Max and the 2 iPhone 10s have fallen off the planet. Instead of returning the phones back to ATT, they flat out stole the phones and continue to give me the run around. Thank goodness I have receipts showing they were returned to them. Naomi is the rudest customer service representative I have ever come across! She clearly shows that she has no interest in her job or helping anyone. She is sarcastic, and unprofessional. Stay away from this store. Seems like they are a gang- they all help each other steal phones. The acting manager at the time of this transaction is no longer there either for obvious reasons. I was told to go to their store to get the ups tracking number showing that they sent the phones out and when I got there, the guy working there (Mahmood) refused to help me by saying that he has no access to the system. I then attempted to call customer service to figure what I should do and he got so mad that he yelling at me and asked me to leave the store! He literally kicked me out of the store. I felt so threatened by his actions that I had to call the cops. It's pretty bad guys! Stay away!!! Go to a real corporate ATT store if need be! These guys are crooks! read more

After being screwed by the Northridge store, I had to return to an ATT store to buy a new SIM card. I waited outside due to the Covid capacity restrictions, but was eventually let in when a customer left. Alex, the Store Manager was very helpful and understanding after I explained to him what had just happened at the Northridge store. He offered to find a replacement phone in his inventory or order one and have it shipped to me. As luck would have it, the phone that I wanted had just arrived. So he took acre of me and reviews my services and made recommendations. I got to walk out with my new phone. What felt satisfied and that Alex had righted the ATT customer service again. read more

Sales representative inside had store closed early. Hours shows open u til 8pm. He had it closed since 720pm maybe earlier for all we know with lights off inside. He alked in and my husband asked he said no it's open, and he turned on lights. My husband had to wait to exchange my phone until I got off from work. We came back at 745pm and the rep said it was closed again. He refused to give us his name and then gave me a fake name. Horrible customer service. I asked to speak to a manager to complain and the rep said do your best lady. I give this store one star only because it won't allow me to rate it any less. read more

Our iPhone thru AT&T has a reception problem: only one bar. Calls were dropped often. "Wi-Fi Calling" was suggested to improve the reception at our Porter Ranch home. Davis was the person helped us to go thru many channels, over an hour, to find the right person/department at AT&T to set up Wi-Fi Calling on iPhone 6(iPhone 5 don't have the setting installed). I have to congratulate him for his tremendous effort and patience. His co-worker, Amy and Paul were also very helpful in explaining the problem and suggesting solutions. Just got back from here with my parents. Samaria helped my parents with transferring over to a new phone/ sim card, and went through all the details of various plans. Not only does she really know her stuff and is clearly passionate about tech, she is incredibly patient. She must have answered thousands of questions for my parents, and all with a smile! Super intelligent, great social skills, and super patient. So maybe this is a review moreso for Samaria- but as long as she is there, I know my parents and I'm sure many others are in good hands with all AT&T questions/ servicing. read more

I get to the store at 3 PM with a note on the door that says will be back in 30 minutes taking break. at 3:20, a lady or could've been a man very hard to tell opens the door and says it'll be another 30 minutes! for one I'm waiting outside with my pregnant wife standing waiting patiently for that note to be correct and then they tell me an additional 30 minutes ! If i could give less than 1-star i would. I Would not recommend anyone going to the ATT retail store in Porter Ranch (owned by Prime Communications). The former manager Joy was great, but suddenly now no longer there. Instead there is a new manager Roseanne who is horrible, along with a Prime Communications district manager named Shirley who is even worse. They misrepresented and then would not take ownership of their deceitful conduct. What was offered and given by Joy these two now deny and pled ignorance. ATT should not have Prime Communications as An "authorized ATT Retail Store" -- at least at the Porter Ranch store if they have employees who do a Bait & Switch and would rather lie to the customers than honor representations and offers. Deal directly with ATT corporate stores (like ATT corporate in Northridge) instead of this retail store that has no interest in being helpful and honest and keeping ATT customers. read more
