Part one of a two part foundation project Recently we had…read moreour house foundation repaired by Groundworks out of Fairfield. One bedroom had sunk by almost 5 inches as that part of the house had been built on fill. In order to restore the house to it's proper level numerous foundation jacks and floor leveling screw jacks were required. In addition some landscaping bushes and pvc sprinkler pipes had to temporarily removed. Groundworks had informed me prior to starting work what would be required to successfully complete this project and had my full approval. The house is now level, the doors no longer swing on their own and the interior cracks between the walls and ceiling joints no longer exist. Prior to the crew leaving the yard was cleaned up and the pvc pipes replaced. Best of all Groundworks will come back annually to the next 5 years and make any necessary adjustments. The Groundworks crew that made this happen was Andrew, the site supervisor, Charlie and Allen. Their performance and daily communication was superior on all levels. This is part 2. The Groundworks Poly crew of Anthony & Brian were very fast and efficient in completing their part of the foundation repair contract which was to level our family room slab floor. Fast, yes, but Anthony did take the time to not only explain what they were going to do but also walked me through the process as they were working. I have no problem in recommending them & Groundworks to other home owners who need to have their foundation repaired.

Yes it does give me an option to not sell my data but it should never have been a question to start with. I will be going with a different company that does not sell my personal information.

He showed up on time, was very respectful of my home and professional. Not pushy at all, and very easy to speak with. High compliments for Scott!

Working with this company was one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had. I signed my…read morecontract in August and today on 3/22/26 the work is finally complete. The communication is absolutely horrible, if you get any at all. With repeated attempts to follow up on my project, I kept getting the same answer that they were waiting on permitting, but on two separate occasions, over two separate issues, with two separate time spans, that was incorrect and the delay was a failure to complete the correct paperwork to even submit to the city. This caused months of delays that were unnecessary. They did damage to my electrical, but only would accept responsibility when I pushed back. The work took weeks longer than originally anticipated. All of these things I can understand, but again the terrible communication made the situation so much worse than it needed to be. The technicians who performed the work were very nice and worked their butts off. They walked onto my project totally unprepared for the work involved, even though two representatives were under my house on two separate occasions and could have assessed the work needed. I could keep going, but no one reads long reviews and I am hoping to save someone the headache I went through.

We just did a mid size project with them last month. We had them underpin one side of the house and…read morereplace a good amount of posts and repair some cracks in our foundation. Brett came out to do an assessment on our entire foundation and his finding was consistent with our own inspection report. Their recommendation is also on par and we find that Brett is quite knowledgeable about the scope of work. He is also very patient, responsive and respectful throughout the estimating project while we took a long time to decide, a lot of follow ip questions and requests. Not once that I felt rushed, pushed or disrespected. The team kept me informed on the timeline of permit, project starting time, inspection and completion, everything was transparent. They passed inspection without problemsx Our foreman is Humberto who was polite, dependable and kept me well informed on the work they performed the day of, when they finished work and provided needed before and after pictures. I also find their pricing is reasonable compared to other companies that we interviewed with the experience that far exceeds their piers. Overall I had a good experience with the crew. They are polite and really didn't interfere with our life that much while they work. I would recommend them for all foundation repair needs. Be careful because lots of foundation companies will scam you, just because you will not be able to see what they did underneath your crawl space. The last foundation company came out to fix our house they made a bunch of noise for 2 weeks, said they are done and then we hired an independent inspector and confirmed they did nothing. Spend the money on a good company. This one is probably the best one ( we interviewed 6 companies)

My large concrete driveway pad was settling and cracking, and I commissioned Foundation Solutions…read moreto level it, and repair some of the crumbling concrete. The experience was great. Kyle initially came out to evaluate my project and give me a bid. His communication was clear, and he assured me there would be a direct line of communication between himself and the crew who would be doing the work, which was one of my priorities in choosing a contractor. His bid was a little less than another bid I got, but cost was not why I went with them. Jason and Ernie then came out to do the work, and Jason had been briefed by Kyle with the nuances of the project. Jason was careful to describe what he thought would work best, and he kept me in the loop along the way. The work came out great, and no sooner had Jason and Ernie left than Kyle was on the phone to make sure I was satisfied with the work. Start to finish there was clear communication, effective follow-through, and my expectations were met. What more do you want when hiring a contractor? I would definitely hire Foundation Solutions again.

I was worried that the beam supporting the roof was not adequate and that was leading to foundation issues. Most online advice suggested to hire a structural engineer to inspect the foundation, as contractors may blow minor issues out of proportion an suggest unnecessary repairs. The structural engineers quoted me $500 for an inspection and they wanted pictures from a foundation repair contractor anyways, since they wouldn't go into crawl spaces. I was losing sleep thinking about my uneven floors, so I decided to reach out to NorCal Ram Jack for a free estimate. What was there to lose? After filling out their online request form they reached out within a couple of hours and scheduled an appointment the following week with Adam, their Foundation Specialist. Adam showed up early and I was easily able to communicate my concerns to him. He measured the elevation differential throughout my house, asked about details of the removed wall and installed beam, and answered all my concerns. He walked us through his thought process and what signs of concerns we should look for that would warrant a foundation repair. We are lucky that our house currently doesn't have issues of concern, but I wouldn't hesitate to contact Ram Jack again with the peace of mind they gave us.

They peeled the carpet back, drilled the holes and re-installed the carpets to the best of their ability (which actually isn't bad at all). Fence+gate have been fixed as well. They aren't fence guys or carpet guys so leaving a review about those not done to the quality of someone who does it professionally isn't necessary, although they did do a good job with both. We appreciate the 2nd visit, no one had contacted me to change my 1star review, this is of my own doing a week later. No refund,no pay out, no negotiating, we didn't sign anything stating the review would come down after work was done. We appreciate all your guys hard work and cheerful attitude.
