Hub Group provided one of the worst furniture delivery experiences I have ever had…read more The problems started before my furniture was even delivered. On July 7, my delivery was rescheduled at the last minute. I received nothing more than a voicemail approximately two hours before my original delivery window informing me that my delivery had been changed. There was no courtesy call or opportunity to discuss the change. I immediately tried calling Hub Group between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM to speak with someone, but no one answered the phone for two straight hours. The following day, a representative told me they had experienced an "influx of calls." While I understand that busy days happen, it's difficult to accept that a company of this size had no one available to answer customer calls for hours. My delivery window was changed from 3:00 PM-7:00 PM to 7:00 PM-11:00 PM, and the crew didn't arrive until approximately 10:00 PM. Unfortunately, things only got worse from there. The delivery crew arrived looking unprofessional, and their level of service matched their appearance. Instead of providing the white glove delivery service that had been purchased, they asked where my house numbers were so they could take a photo, unloaded my furniture into my driveway, and drove away. The furniture was never brought inside my home. It was never assembled. None of the white glove services that were supposed to be provided were completed. The most unbelievable part is that it was raining and storming, yet the crew still left my furniture outside and expected me to move it into my home by myself. That level of service is unacceptable, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. Afterward, Hub Group called to ask if I wanted another team to come back and assemble the furniture. By that point, the damage had already been done. After leaving my furniture outside in the rain and forcing me to move it into my home alone, why would I want another crew to come back? The issue wasn't simply the lack of assembly--it was the complete disregard for the customer and the service that was promised. At no point did anyone sincerely apologize or take ownership of what happened. Instead, the response felt dismissive, as though my experience wasn't important. Because of this experience, I canceled all of my remaining furniture orders. I would never want another delivery handled by Hub Group, and I would not recommend this company to anyone expecting professional, reliable delivery service.

If you live out in Maple Valley and need to go to the airport in the morning, Please save yourself…read morethe time and trouble. Do not call them! You can also look over the reviews and see for yourself that this is not a reliable company to hire. Maybe if you live in the Auburn/Kent area and going within a 5-10 mile ride....Say the Muckleshoot for Example they "Might" be your first call.

Cons: They improperly quoted the cost of services and assured me I would be refunded for the second hour that wasn't needed. Our move only took about 30 minutes, but we wanted to make sure they got paid for the full hour. We tipped 30% as well to thank them for their efficiency. And Vlad mentioned that U-Haul/Moving Help takes 25% (not cool for small businesses). Turns out U-Haul/moving help also does not offer refunds, regardless of what the contracted service provider assures. Vlad also texted me several times over the past week pushing for a review. Super professional. All in all, these guys are great movers, but their business practices could use some refining. I would recommend calling them directly to book service, do not contract through a third party.
