We asked Scott to replace a rotting wood retaining wall with river rock, clear grass and overgrown bushes out of a large flower bed, lay DG, and adjust our sprinklers to avoid having large patches of dead grass. I found Pacific Crest Landscape through Yelp and contacted them in hopes that they could fix my sprinkler system. I recently had my driveway expanded and when the contractor poured the new concrete, he failed to cap any of the lines where the sprinklers were at. The grass on the opposite side of the driveway began to die because the uncapped lines were not allowing the sprinklers to receive any pressure. The Pacific Crest crew showed up to my house less than an hour after I contacted them. They were polite, professional, honest, reasonably priced, and took pride in the work they performed. The problem required them to dig up part of the grass... they laid a tarp down on the driveway and put the grass/dirt on top of the tarp to eliminate getting the driveway dirty. When they put the dirt and grass back together, they made sure to rake the area to break up and dirt clots so the grass looked untouched! HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommended! We had an emergency irrigation repair needed at our home: We had been out of town for nearly 3 weeks and when we returned home, we found our front yard flooded and water rapidly running into the street. I was freaking out. We called several services and since it was a Friday, everyonw was telling us they couldn't get to us until middle to late next week. When we called Pacific Crest, Scott told me that he was busy on a job but would try to finish up later in the afternoon and he'd give me a call back. I have to say that I was not optimistic. Sure enough, about 2:30 in the afternoon, I received the call back and Scott told me that he was on his way if we still needed him. I was fearful of the cost because we were dealing with a 'monster tree from hell' whose roots were breaking our water lines. I told him that I simply wanted an estimate of the cost and didn't want to make any promises. He gave me a ball park number and said that he would probably be able to make the repair that same day. Not knowing what would be involved, I told him that I doubted he'd be able to do it so qiuckly, but he was welcome to come out and give it a try - but I did forewarn him. Scott and Moses arrived about 45 minutes later ( they were driving through the I-215 Friday afternoon parking lot, so the 45 minutes was actually very quick). As soon as they arrived, they began scoping out the situation: Standing water, soft spots, running water, dry areas, etc. Scott introduced himself and the wheels started to turn. Within like 5 minutes of turning the water back on, they had determined the spot of the broken line and Moses immediately began digging. I have to say that I was skeptical of the accuracy of their precision dig, because there was truly water everywhere. It only took a short time before he uncovered the problem. He showed me the broken main line, the adjoining sprinkler connection, the issues with the roots, and the plan to make the needed repairs. I was going like, 'how in the heck could they find this small break so precisely?' Anyway Moses and Scott found a way to make the needed repairs and did so in the most professional and efficient ways possible. When they completed the job, other than being muddy from the water, they replaced the sod and you would not know that any repairs had been done. They price was fair and far below what I was expecting. The results faster and far above what I have come to expect from other contractors. I can't say enough great things about Scott and Moses. These guys are truly top notch: Personable, professional, efficient, analytical, hard working and fair. If you ever need something done, these are the guys to call. Too bad there are only 5 stars here because they deserve so much more than that. read more
