"Good Morning Antonia, Just wanted to apologize for the frustration this morning with your heater order, the last thing we want to do is be a headache with event rentals - I will briefly explain a couple of things while we refund your order. It's true that we do have a 100% cancellation policy in place for same-day orders, many places do, and that's simply because many of these are resource-heavy and yet we enjoy fulfilling last-minute needs where needed. Even though it takes a large number of resources and overhead to implement, we know offering same-day services are crucial to events at times. We stop warehouse production in any department necessary, we recall a driver to come gather the new order, and we re-route them back on the road, hopefully balancing other orders already on the schedule.....all in an effort accomodate events in this great city. Secondarily, and more importantly - this cancellation policy will be immediately looked at internally because we should have some flexibility with it. Preparing a rush order for heaters does not consume the same resources as preparing a new order for tents, tables, linen, or cooking equipment - I understand that, and Dorca was simply doing what is asked of her. But this situation brings a good point to mind - when/how/where should we implement some flexibility and can we communicate it better. We will learn. They are moving at a snails pace to get my tables and chairs set up. Guest start slowly arriving. How freaking embarrassing. Nobody once called me to say they were running late or give me any updates. I expressed how frustrated I was with their service a few days later. Nobody reached back out, no apology, nothing. That's the last time I'll ever use San Diego linens or REFER anybody to them, considering how many ppl I referred from my wedding. Be careful if you book with them y'all.

We explained we needed to fit 100 people, we needed tables and chairs and lighting. David had all kinds of great ideas, including swags on either side of the area where I was to be married, a fabric backdrop, market lights, and a GOBO light. The GOBO light would be set up to shine a saying, from a lens we designed , into the pool. I designed the lens to say," Scott Lori 3-3-2018". On the Thursday and Friday prior to the wedding, they came and set up the tables, and delivered the chairs, and set up the lights and draping. David was flexible, and due to possible rain we had to rent tents, and he put the lights up in the tents!! They did a great job! Make sure David comes to your venue, he has a really good eye for decorating!!

Worked with The Wild Thyme Co for my 10/18 180 person wedding at the Darlington House! Through…read morethem, we booked our rentals with Event Party Rentals with whom they partner. We worked with Rachel and Jordan and booked about 1.5 years in advance. They were communicative and very flexible with my multitude of changes throughout the year and a half working with them. I was even able to add a cake tasting and cake later on and change certain rentals very close to wedding date. They were patient and accommodating and willing to make just about anything work! My guests were incredibly happy with the food and the service, and my husband and I absolutely loved the waiter assigned to us on wedding day! The only thing that went wrong was half of our string lights (required by DH) went out for the entirety of the seated meal due to an installation error. I'm not docking any points from rating as this was a genuine mistake and WTC reached out to their EPR contact right away to have them return to site and get it fixed. It did take about an hour+ to resolve but WTC was very apologetic and even provided a a partial refund for the lighting. One thing we were bummed about was that cake service occurred during the main dance floor time and if cake wasn't accepted from the server, it was a missed opportunity. According to my guests, about 90% of people didn't get cake as it wasn't left on tables and most people were on the dance floor. 2.5/3 sheets cakes remained at the end of the night. One big win was TWC was so organized and accommodating for the many dietary restrictions/allergies we threw at them and served our guests appropriately. We received no complaints and guests and family said it was handled seamlessly! All in all, my husband and I were so pleased with our decision to work with WTC and will forever cherish the role they played in making our day amazing!
