Buyer Beware, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! My family had a horrible experience with Pacific Kitchen and Bath AKA Pacific Showroom as they are also called. Our experience started with a Small 42x36 shower project should have taken 3 days: demo, install, final touch ups. It ended up taking over a month due to no shows and bad scheduling, our project was constantly pushed out. No accounting for craftsmanship either as every single person who showed up was not an employee of Pacific Kitchen and bath, all of them were various contractors for plumbing, walls, shower install. As the contractors have no liability in the work performed they didn't care how things looked. When finished we saw the shower Pan had been installed crooked!! The contractors also damaged our brand new bathroom door and scratched our brand new bathroom vanity (see pictures). After all was said and done the sales person sent me an invoice for $4,300!!! I had this company update my master bath in a condo. I do not recommend. I have struggled writing a negative review, but I feel obliged to prevent the next person from experiencing the same substandard service and product that I did. The price went up daily. The installation was mediocre to not meeting my expectations. After the contractors left, Ron relegated me to his secondary help that was incapable of finishing the job. I will include a picture of the end job, receptionist was demanding final payment, and telling me it was my problem to fix. Ultimately, they did fix the issue, but it took refusal of final payment. Not recommended. Unfortunately, I have to say that I had a similar experience as the previous reviewer. I too, read the Yelp reviews before making my hiring decision. I too, have to question the validity of the reviews. I should say that the overall project turned out pretty well. However, I can't give the staff at Pacific a lot of credit for the overall outcome. Throughout the project, we were misled about timelines, kept in the dark about which contractor was coming and when, and never called to determine our satisfaction with any part of the job prior to payment. Some of the sub-contractors were quite good (Electrical, plumbing, and flooring), others were quite bad (countertop fabricator, backsplash, and cabinet). Others were ok, (bathroom tile). I would not use Pacific again, and would not recommend them. The pride of workmanship is missing, and management (Ron) seemed quite unconcerned with client satisfaction. I don't like giving bad reviews, but the staff at Pacific was disappointing. They never came out to view the job, and seemed unconcerned that we were dissatisfied with various aspects of the job. My wife and I decided to update our kitchen and flooring, and going off of a friend's recommendation we chose to meet with a representative from The Pacific Showroom AKA Pacific Kitchen, Bath & Flooring ( check reviews for both) and after being promised the world we decided to move forward with the project-- what a mistake that was. The lack of communication from this company is unbelievable. You never know if and when somebody is coming. We had people show up unannounced, would work for 1-2 hours and then tell us that they had to get to another project. This happened multiple times with boxes of cabinets sitting for weeks. We reached out over the course of our project no less than 30 times with phone calls, to be returned several days later, text messages that go unanswered and had the project foreman no-show on us at least 7 times. It took this company 3 months to switch out a 8 foot piece of crown molding The overall work from the 3rd party contractors was good/great, but the lack of customer service and lack of professionalism from the company was the biggest disappointment. We even had a former employee contact us to make a payment (which was already paid) because he was waiting to be closed out on his commission from the company-highly inappropriate!!! My husband and I stopped by this store in Mission Viejo as we wanted a redo of our Master Bathroom. We spoke to the manager and he asked if it was okay to bring their designer to our home that evening. The manager, Harry, and the designer, Shawna Rad, arrived at our home and she provided ideas for almost a complete redo of the bathroom. We were happy with her plan. I asked for references and she provided two whom I called. They were smaller renovations and did not appear to be custom. I checked Yelp and, incorrectly, looked under Pacific Showroom (the sign on their storefront). If I had checked under the name, above, I would have probably made a different decision. We came to an agreement on cost and we picked our materials. Shawna quoted us 3-4 weeks. Since this was the sixth bathroom we renovated, we thought, probably 6-8 weeks. We were so wrong! The cabinet for our sinks was a custom size as Shawna designed it and ordered it. She advised it would be a quality product. Well, the doors were good (I picked them). the rest of the cabinet was poor quality particle board that the installers had a hard time installing. They installed and we told them it was not centered properly on the wall between the two medicine cabinet (mirrors). I contacted Shawna and she wanted to send someone out to verify our finding. This was just the beginning. I called Shawna as the cabinet people did not put a floor to the cabinet under the sink. She said "the pipes are there, you do not need a floor to the cabinet as you cannot store anything under the sink ever." (BTW, she was yelling at me!) Then the counter top came in. After installation we realized that the ends of the cabinet were not the same. They were completely different. She would not come to see it. She just wanted pictures. She offered us $400 off our invoice to keep them as is. We said 'no'. We got a new countertop. By this time she would no longer talk to us. She advised we need to call Customer Service (no help) which added days to the timeline. When everything was in place it was time for the wall people. I asked her to send a finish painter as she had the the same man doing everything except the tile. Thank goodness as the tile man knew what he was doing. She had the original contractor texture and paint and if was the absolute worst. Gobs of plaster, paint everywhere and again... Shawna would not come to see it. Asked for pictures. They agreed it was bad and sent a new painter to fix it. He started out great as took him two days to cover it all. After 4 days I told the young man... "this is not what I want! It doesn't look any better than what you took off. In fact it's worse." By this time, 13 weeks had passed and my husband had had enough. We were being harassed by Ron the owner to pay the remaining balance. He billed us for items like: new bedroom carpet (which we did not purchase from him). BTW, they ruined the closet carpet and bedroom carpet. He billed us for fixing a leak in the sink twice... we called because it was leaking... twice. My husband finally wrote in a final check for the balance on the original agreed upon amount and told them to get out! We are now looking for a professional texture/paint person to take it all off and start over on all the walls. I do not recommend them at all.... for anything. By the way, all the tiles (pebble) in the shower have cracked. Not sure the product I picked and what they installed was of the same quality. There is much more to this renovation. We were relocated to Orange County for work and were in escrow for a home in MV, just behind PKF&B, when we discovered on one of our visits before closing that the kitchen the kitchen cabinetry was shoddy, 1993 MDF with stapled drawers and had been painted with latex paint over oil paint without the use of a primer. OMG. There was no saving the cabinets...and we can't put good money on top of bad...so they had to go. Knowing no one in OC, I popped into PKB&F one day as I was leaving the property. That's where I met Shawna, who I adored from the start, and a beautiful partnership ensued. I'm a Type A East Coaster who is super organized and runs a tight ship when it comes to projects and Shawna blew me away with her responsiveness, timeliness, and creatively. She's a total gem and completely brilliant. I made arrangements for her to come out to measure for kitchen cabinets 25 days before closing and she came up with an excellent plan that maximized deadspace in the kitchen without having to change the overall footprint. We weren't looking to do a total renovation. She has insane measuring skills...she designed a pull out spice drawer in the 3" we had between the refrigerator and dishwasher (fitting within a 90 degree angle) with not a millimeter to spare. Pure genius on her part. Long story short, she worked with me so well and was so fair with price and committing to work within our tight deadlines that we ended up bumping our contract with PKB&F for not just kitchen cabinets and counters (quartz) but also all 4 bathroom cabinets, counters (quartz), completely replacing the all of the tile floors in the house (kitchen, foyer, and 4 bathrooms), all baseboards on the second floor, and mosaic tile backsplash. Every step of the way, Shawna was on top of every detail like a hawk and her colleague, Ali, stepped in to do some measuring as well as our scope increased. We wanted all of the work to be done within 14 days (before the movers arrived) and not only did all of the pieces come together on time but were done a couple of days early. Unbelievable! We'd like to thank everyone at PKB&F who were so gracious and helpful and made our new home truly beautiful without worry: Shawna (mad props to you!), Ali, Royce, Gilberto, James, Manuel, and every other important and professional crew member who was here at the crack of down until dusk upgrading our electrical, demoing tile and laying, installing sinks and faucets, and so on. I can't say enough wonderful things about this team and we're just so pleased that you are in our neighborhood. Keep up the great work and thanks a million! After some research I found one was from the owner of Pacific Kitchen, Ron M If you do not write 5 star reviews with their company, they will slander your business online in retaliation. We totally remodeled our kitchen and used Pacific Kitchen Bath and Flooring which included quartz countertops, at great expense. With a year, the quartz cracked and which was not due to any heat related issue. They refused to do anything about it and the only person who would ever return a call was Customer Service despite many calls requesting to speak to the owner. The one person that made this project move was Zara! She was absolutely fantastic and followed up with me on a regular basis and actually came to my home to see how things were progressing. The sub=contractors were excellent and did an amazing job as well as clean up the site. It took a little longer than expected, but mostly due to the holiday season and the dreaded COVID variant over Christmas. I recently moved to Mission Viejo in a condo and quickly realized how terrible the kitchen was. I went into Pacific kitchen bath and flooring and met Shawna. The following day she came to my home to measure and give me some ideas, she went back to the store and with in a day she called me excited that she had reconfigured the kitchen so it would make more sense. I went into the shop and loved her design and three weeks later the old kitchen was demolished including a half wall... This is where James Remodeling comes in with his crew and worked magic. The half wall was removed, plumbing and electrical reconfigured, new can lights and a fan Installed. This whole process start to finish (minus backsplash) was completed in two weeks... Unheard of... I have friends in the construction business who marveled at how quickly the work was done. Week later I had picked out my backsplash it was installed... I did a complete kitchen remodel with them, everything minus the floors. They did the Cabinets, Granite and Mosaic Back-splash. Working with Ron was very easy, and he was always easy to reach by phone or text throughout the process. The workmanship was excellent, I was pleased with everything they did and any concerns I had, they fixed. The only issue we had during the process was the cabinet vendor did not have a size cabinet that we designed for, so we had to update the design during the construction, but Ron took care of it within a few days and everything came out good. Also the cabinets come unfinished on the bottom, so if you sit in your kitchen you can see it; so we added the light rail and bottom skins to cover it and looks great now. Thanks Ron! read more

I had some concerns when the person who came to measure the top used a tape measure instead of the high tech tools I've seen others use, but they were unfounded. We had already gotten several kitchen remodeling quotes that were way out of our price range. We were looking for granite countertops, new backsplash and refacing our cabinets. We couldn't believe it when Ron told us that he could do the job for a better deal and this deal included NEW cabinets, not refacing the ones we already had. We booked the job! Not only did they do an amazing job, but they finished within the time frame we were quoted...which is almost unheard of in the remodeling industry. Warning: if you want professional, informative, and organized do not proceed with these guys. The process was a disorganized nightmare. They never walk through the process with you or give you timelines, so you don't know when people are coming and going. You have to call constantly. The work needs to be corrected over and over... it was a disaster. I really wish someone would have warned me prior to, but you don't always know. Spend your money elsewhere even if it's a little bit more - it will be worth it. Unless you like to spend your hard earned dollars on being tortured...some people do. There is no project manager assigned and requests and details are often overlooked or forgotten. It was such a horrific experience that I don't really enjoy the finished outcome sadly. read more

We were looking for white quartz to replace our old island counter top. We found this place looking on Google Maps and it was close to us so we checked it out. Jesse greeted us and walked us through the store to show us samples and different design styles. He was very friendly and patient and explained the whole process to us. They were able to get the material quickly and it was installed within a week. Jesse kept us informed through the process and was always fast to reply to our questions. Not recommended. I am an avid user of Yelp. I read all of the reviews before making a major hire. After dealing with these people, I really have to question the validity of the other reviews. I probably should have posted this review 6 months ago, but really don't like posting negative reviews. Upon reflection, I felt obligated to share my experiences with my fellow Yelp users. Let me start by saying that our experience was "painful" at best. We dealt with Shawna, and she disappointed at every turn. Seeing that she has been in the industry for many many years, one would assume that she would know what she is doing. That is not the case. The various contractors she uses come and go as they please, and she simply trusts them to tell her when they are done. She never visits the site, and has no clue who is coming on a daily basis. We found ourself calling/texting/emailing on a regular basis just to find out who was showing up and when. Invariably, every conversation ended with her saying "let me give them a call and I will let you know". Having Shawna on the job is almost worse than having nobody. At least if you had nobody, you could reach out directly to the subs. Some of their subcontractors are good. Others are terrible. Their cabinet people are terrible, and their countertop guy is poor/mediocre. I don't know about their flooring people, but I don't want to find out. She pushes the "luxury" vinyl relentlessly, regardless of what you think. She (and Ron) must make a killing on it. We opted to go with another company to install our flooring. At least that went well. My recommendation would be to use them only if you are installing a stand-alone cabinet that is off the shelf. Their prices are good, but the workmanship is non-existent. Any custom work proves difficult for their installers. At one point, we called the owner, Mehran "Ron" to voice our displeasure, and he was no better. He simply stuck up for his people and showed no interest in the customer. He was only concerned about his payment. Keep looking. This is not the place for you, regardless of what Mehran's relatives say. read more

Although the project took quite a bit longer than expected because of an undiscovered issue with our wall architecture, Jim worked around it and it came out great. I left a review earlier with 2 stars, but as the job has "completed" they truly deserve no stars! First off, it's important to understand that this company doesn't actually have any employees on staff that do work, they contract out work to other companies...which often means no one can come to your house to do any work for WEEKS. Also, every single contractor that comes, says the same thing...we are really busy but doing a side job for PKB so we gotta make it quick. Ummm...what?! Along the way everything took wayyyy longer than they stated and they made huge mistakes along the way. The cabinets weren't installed correctly, luckily they fixed it. The kitchen sink wasn't flush mounted like we asked, there's a huge lip and food and water keep getting stuck in it. The list goes on and on, but I don't want to waste any more time, I'll get right to the point. I needed to replace my very old kitchen counter, and I had visited three other places before I discovered Pacific Kitchen Bath & Flooring. I spoke with Ron, and his customer service was the reason I ultimately went to the store. He was straightforward and informative letting me know exactly what the project would entail. When I went to the store, he took a great deal of time checking with his vendors to make sure the products I liked were in stock. He brought samples of many colors and materials to my home before I made my decision. My job was not a large one, but Ron treated me as if I was remodeling a large home. My timetable was short, and he was accurate in his time estimate. His installer, Abraham, was punctual and completed my job on a Sunday to accommodate my schedule. The quartz counter looks spectacular, and I feel as if I have a new kitchen! I will recommend Ron to anyone undertaking a home project. He'll be my go-to guy for any future projects I need.
