Ive been treated very well by the lady that is always serving there. I didnt have money, was homeless and she gave me some of the vest and most yummy food ive ever eaten. She even threw in a soda. Worse service I have ever received. I Needed an order for an event that started at 7. I placed the order at 4pm for a 615 pickup. I had someone pick up the food for me. We drove from Santa Monica to Woodland Hills for this special order. They got there at 620pm and told them to come back in 1 hour because the food was not ready and they are very busy. We need the food so they waited. They returned in an hour at 730pm as they were instructed and then were told that the food order was canceled because they were way too busy. Absolutely ridiculous, they should have said from the beginning that they could not fulfill the order, but instead made us wait. They had my phone number they could of called and said something. They could have said it right from the beginning. They were also dodging my calls, as i wanted to check on the food. I needed to ask the person picking up the food to go back in the store and hand them their phone because they arent answering my calls. I can hear the phone ringing off the hook in the background. The girl on the phone sounded like she didnt give a shit about anything. When i asked why the order was canceled she said we are just too busy. When i asked them, Why did you tell him to come back in an hour and waste his time and mine. This absolutely ridiculous. She said oh were going to call you about your order cause we dont have some of the items you ordered. When i asked if you already knew you couldnt do the order, then why did you tell him to wait and come back in an hour. All she had to say was if you have an Issue you can call costumer service and speak with the manager. If i have an issue?!?! Of course i have an issue. We wait 2 hours for nothing. We drove for an hour to and back for nothing. This is absolutely unacceptable on so many levels. I understand businesses, but zero attempts to make things right for your guest is not ok. This establishment needs so much work with organizing, communication and also service. This was a very disappointing experience on so many levels. read more

I came here for lunch and I'll just say right from the start, the prices are a bit more than I want to pay for a lunch, but... The menu seems to have something for everyone and it was far from dead inside. Either way, I appreciate this friendly attitude. He asked if I had any questions, but I decided to try a dish that was familiar enough but requested no mushrooms. I'm just not into mushrooms or olives and they seem to be pretty popular on many of the dishes here. I ordered the spinach focaccia and sat outside eager to try Pacific Kosher's version. The dish I received was anything but run of the mill. I noticed right away the abundant sprinkle of sesame seeds. I love them on bagels but rarely (never) see them on focaccia bread. It took awhile for the dish to come out so I can assume that it wasn't just taken out of a fridge/freezer. It definitely tasted fresh and someone in the kitchen definitely knows how to make bread. The temperature was perfect: just a degree or two below the heat that would burn your tongue. The cheese was very tasty and stretchy. But the best way to enjoy this focaccia was with the side dips: a creamy sauce and the red pepper sauce. The cheese and these flavors combine so well and the coolness of the sauces will also allow you eat the focaccia just a little bit faster. I have stopped by this location a few times with my friends and everything we have ordered has been great. I definitely recommend the white pizza with spinach- the crust on that pizza is incredible.
