We're visiting Sequim while looking for land and wanted a quick lunch. So glad we tried this place based on the reviews. I had the smoked ham sandwich warmed and it was very good. The cheese was melted and the ham and mustard all blended well. My husband had the pastrami on rye with sauerkraut on the side. The pastrami wasn't shredded like he's used to but he said it was very good also. Next time he would have them put the sauerkraut right on the sandwich. So happy this eatery was recommended to us by another local business. Four of us thoroughly enjoyed being greeted enthusiastically, having the food quality, in-house smoking of meats and menu options explained before placing our orders and appreciated the quality available and the fact that all items are from local vendors. We enjoyed tasty homemade bbq pork sandwiches with homemade slawon locally baked rolls, delicious French onion and carrot soups. We left feeling very satisfied and content and will definitely return when we next visit Sequim. One suggestion--need a sidewalk board to help locate this eatery since their sign is easy to pass by when you are driving. read more

Looking for a good lunch right off on the road, and needed a place where we could bring our dog. Good reviews of this place on Yelp brought us there. The lovely grassy backyard with lots of tables, a dog water bowl, and tomato plants growing against the wall sealed the deal. Stacey the server was nice, quick, understanding. We needed a lot of food urgently and John was incredibly helpful in providing an amazing array of sandwiches on fresh homemade bread (beet and goat cheese, turkey with homemade mustard, chicken salad and roast beef) and pizzas (chicken pesto, sausage and arugula and pepperoni). Every single item was incredibly fresh, delicious and a glorious combination of different tastes that went so well together. Pork bbq sandwich is in a class of its own. Can't remember ever having a better bbq sandwich. Their pastrami sandwich is not made with the typical, sliced meat. Instead, chunks of perfectly seasoned brisket-like pastrami is served on thick slices of marbled rye. It took us a long time to try it, but we're very happy we stopped in for lunch. I had a brotwurst in a bun with french onion soup -- the brotwurst was mild yet tasty with sauteed onions and sauerkraut -- just perfect. The onion soup was the best I've had for years -- very rich broth and just the right amount of bread and melted cheese on top. Hubby had the confit chicken salad sandwich and said it was very good with complex flavors. Can't wait to try their pizza. read more

Very nice place for quick lunch. Lots of homemade dishes to select from. We particularly enjoyed the Pastrami and Chicken Gumbo.

I go to this place all the time and have come to know the staff quite well. I suppose you could say that slants my views, but there's a reason I keep coming back - the people are great and the food is too. My current favorite is a piece of sausage with boiled cabbage with stone ground mustard and mustard seeds on the cabbage. It's SO good! The pizza is the best in town - including the actual pizza places. Sandwiches are fabulous and lots of locally sourced meats which they slice up in the back. Hard to see - I really hope they can get a little more visibility and PR - but really worth the search. There's a wee bit of parking at the side but there's more around in the back. read more

I live in Saint Louis and have eaten at barbeque places famous for what they do. The pulled pork sandwich at Pacific Pantry was the best I have ever had. My husband ordered it and I had the beets sandwich, which was fantastic. Beets beautiful and cooked perfectly. The woman who took our order recommended it with deli mustard. I took her advice and it was splendid. Just the right amount of kick. Bright flavors held together by the creamy tang of fromage blanc. Craft beer on tap and a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere. New favorite treat for when we're home to visit family. read more

I was pretty disappointed with this place. The ambiance is fantastic - from the outside and once you're inside, so I really had my hopes up high. The service was also great. I was a little surprised at how limited the menu was for sandwich choices, but I thought that would or should mean that each sandwich should blow my socks off. Well, unfortunately that wasn't the case. I ordered the chicken salad on gluten free bread. The gluten free bread slices were stale (yuck) and the chicken salad itself was ok (not the best I've ever had), but what really detracted from it is how oily and greasy it felt in my mouth. I'm not sure if they use a homemade mayo, but whatever they used as a dressing to hold the salad together was very oily and left very oily feeling on the tongue and mouth and even on my hands. I actually would have gone back and asked for a different sandwich, however I did take it to go and I didn't eat it until I was quite far away. So, this place looks like it has the potential to be an amazing dining experience but sadly it is not. Also, they leave their chicken salad and potato salad in large bowls in the front in a display case which I assume is kept chilled. But it looks like they don't cover all the food properly, because the top part of the salads had that look of getting a bit crusty or whatever happens when you put a mayonnaise-based salad in the fridge without a cover. It was actually rather unappetizing to look at these products sitting there, looking like they had been improperly stored. But I was willing to give this place a try. I'm glad I did, but I am dissatisfied overall with my experience. I probably won't return. read more
