    Veggie fest wrap
    Lindsay P.

I would definitely check this place out for a healthy lunch option after a long day of hikes. Street parking readily available, service was excellent- the staff was friendly interested in where we were from and what we were doing in town! The place looks small from the outside, but was large inside. I had the delicious veggie fest wrap- which was packed with beets, avocado, sprouts, cucumber, romaine and tahini - very refreshing. Good, but not too heavy to head back out to the trails.

Wow, what a tasty healthy find! Turnip the beet has pitas, salads, Bowls and wraps that you can add most anything you like. Thankfully they also have a few great menu item creations listed on the board to get you started. I had the falafel rather than lamb this time for a tasty Greek option. I was impressed with the quality of all the items including the tasty tzatziki sauce and the hot pita! All items made as you order it by kind staff who helps with suggestions if your stuck. It is a bit dark in this shop during lunch, it looks like part of the nightclub and is easy to pass by but don't miss this healthy tasty option, I Love finding a Greek menu item option in PA. Yay!

Today was my first time here since it became Portside instead of Turnip the Beet. They have paninis now! I got the Jalapeño Popper Grilled Cheese and Harvest paninis on herb focaccia. I didn't think there was enough jalapeño on the jalapeño one, but I'm going to find out if I can ask for extra. It was still excellent, and the bacon, fig, and spinach combination on the Harvest Panini was perfect. The counter person put a lot of care into making the sandwiches perfect. She checked to make sure that they were grilled just the right amount of time. Be aware that the door is extremely heavy, and is difficult to open if you're not strong.

I stopped in here last night for a quick bite on my way home from an Olympic peninsula road trip and im just sad i don't live closer to this place! I wish i could come here all the time! Its really cute and has a laid back hippy vibe. The person working was really friendly and fun to chat with. He offered several fun puns and asked me if id seen any vampires or werewolves during my Forks adventures. We chose this place because it had an excellent rating on Yelp with many excellent reviews and we were looking for a healthy option. I ended up getting the last of the soup for the day- kale and white bean and then my friend ordered the blast pita sandwich that came with bacon, romaine, sriracha mayo, sprouts, tomato and avocado. It was delish and massive. She had to take half to go. We also tried one of their cookies- the Hawaiian one- get it toasted. Warm cookies are better than cold. There is a bar next door that joins with the restaurant. Since the lighting was better over there we opted to take our food over and that was nice. 10/10 will return to this place next time im in Port Angeles!

Holy cow! This place never ever ever disappoints. The sandwiches are made so perfectly. Got our sandwiches toasted and they were perfection. The sauces I think is what makes the sandwich. Highly recommend!!!

Harvest moon toasted pita, spinach artichoke parm soup and a lemon cookie tucked away in with the pita

I can't even leave I am doing this review at the table. There is nothing short of rave reviews for this place. A group came in and it was nothing but one person working and she was sweet and helped everyone with their own personalized orders. Space to sit and eat and the food was AMAZING! I had a spinach artichoke soup with a harvest moon toasted pita (I swapped out cream cheese for feta) and a lemon cookie and omg - if I had enough room to eat more I would! You can make your own too - so many options! Also - a woman from Seattle popped in and she said she always comes in for the Hawaiian cookies - so we had to try and it was delicious.

Went to turnip the beat yesterday. Stopped by around dinner time. Quick service and the food was great. Looking for vegan and vegetarian options they have it all. Can choose from the menu for an idea or you can make your own with a wide selection of fresh ingredients

Love their potato slices. Would definitely come back and have some of their lunch meals if I am coming passing by again.
