    They're the best they're super good with my 94 lbs. Dobie and believe me he's a handful. I love their customer service and availability. I feel very comfortable leaving him for both daycare and boarding anytime I have to leave out of town. I've never had him come back with any scratches or any problems. Thank you guys so much for taking care of Blitz my fur baby!

    I brought my feisty frenchie Benjamin here to get 4 weeks of obedience/aggression training. He looks like such a sweet pup, but truly has little man syndrome 100 percent. From growling to darting at other dogs and of course attempting to bite. Bringing Benjamin here was the best decision I have made. Benjamin was given to Perry for the 4 weeks of training and he did an amazing job training him. Everything with Benjamin's aggression towards other dogs is extremely under control now. The time spent helping your pup transition is worth the money to me. Having a obedient dog makes for a better way of living truly! Definitely recommend pacific pet resort to everyone. Make sure to ask for Perry! He's the best

    DANGER INCOMPETENT BUSINESS!! MANUEL SENT MY PUPPY HOME BLOODY AND MISSING CANINE TOOTH! I boarded my two Belgian Malinois puppy's with Oceanside Pet Hotel. Upon returning from my trip I picked up my dogs who HAVE boarded there before...they were so anxious they urinated and defecated all over the lobby, hotel attendant and myself. My male puppy was bleeding from his nose. His muzzle looked like a cheese grater had been run over it... I hope it will let me post pictures here but if not I will provide my personal email below to provide pictures to anyone interested in the truth. I put the puppy's in the car and went back in to have a word with staff. Manuel was not able to see me. His daughter told me she would have him call me, which he NEVER did. Until I had a bitch fit with staff! When I took a closer look at my puppy and his injury s ...i found him MISSING A CANINE TOOTH!! My puppy was less than a year old with beautiful white teeth. If you know the breed Belgian Malinois, teeth are pretty important factor . Not to mention that he couldn't even eat his mouth hurt so bad. When Manuel finally got back to me his attitude was flippant and casual.. he told me my other puppy was fine so he did something right! The staff has specific boarding instructions as previously noted during the last boarding session. I was never contacted about a problem or incident during their stay. When I called and checked in I was told they were fine. I took my puppy to the vet, he needed oral surgery to remove the root. 1500.00 vet bill. Plus boarding fee's. So basically I paid over $2,000 to have my dog abused. My phone calls ignored. And then my concerns treated as if this was no big deal. We will pursue this legally in court. Shame on you Manuel and your staff. My puppy's face is still not completely normal. He was a purebred. With the intention of breeding rights. We could have settled this. I'm not one of those girls nor is my husband that carry around little purse dogs. This isn't my first Malinois or Shepherd. I'm familiar temperament of this breed in particular. I'm also familiar with the fact that this breed with its physical capabilities and Furious loyalty to instinctually protect, loose teeth in combat or in the line of duty. My dog was doing neither of these. He was a puppy that I entrusted in the care of Oceanside Pet Hotel with current Specific Instructions. I attempted to for months now with absolutely no success or compassion whatsoever from Manuel or his staff. Manuel self-proclaimed dog trainer for Belgian Malinois, police and military K-9 units, has proven to us and our canine family that he cares a bit more about money than the well-being and Humane treatment of animals.

    I needed some time before I wrote this review. Last week I dropped my dog for 5 nights/6 days. I was told on day 3 that she isnt eating, which I kind of expected so I was ok with that. But then I called for updates. When I would call for an update, I would get some very young girl on the phone. She never knew how my dog was doing. Every time i asked if she's eating, comfortable or taking her medication, the response was usually 'I think....' I had to ask for her to ask the kennel attendant but she wouldn't, she kept saying things along the lines of 'I'm sure that's what they did'. I was told they didnt even attempt to put her in group play because her breed is too dominant (she's mixed with pit bull). Really?!?! The first time I called to let them know I'm picking her up early, everything was arranged. I called a hour later (during business hours), I got their voicemail and no called me back. I called the next day and no one knew about the arrangement. It's been a 5 days since I picked her up and she has an upper respiratory infection and large wounds on her back legs. They look like she either dragged or was laying on really hot cement. I'm very upset and disappointed about the whole experience.

    After speaking with someone on the phone i decided I would give them a shot and brought my puppy in for temperament testing. When i got there they told me my dog, an american staffordshire aka "pit bull" would not be allowed to play with the other dogs because "pit bulls are unpredictable." STUPIDEST THING I HAVE EVER HEARD! All animals are somewhat unpredictable and i am fully aware of our societys general pit bull ignorance but if you have a business providing services for animals, get some education. Bad owners are the problem for this beautiful breed, not the dog itself. Absolutely terrible business practice! After leaving their esthetically run down facility we took my "unpredictable" pit bull to the nearby dog park where she played perfectly with all the dogs, as she always has. The only incident we had was as we were leaving we had to pass the small dog play area where a small dog charged the fence and barked ferociously at my dog. My dog completely ignored it! That's typical pit bull behavior.....morons! Luckily there is a beautiful facility around the corner that will be getting my business....and the pleasure of taking care of my beautiful baby.

    4.5 stars would have been a perfect rating. I was very nervous to leave my kitten somewhere, but both ladies I met were very welcoming and reassuring. The facility is clean and smells good. I had Nala there for 6 hours and when I brought her home, boy was she tired! I'm not sure if Nala was drained from the stress of being away from home for the first time or from the nice ladies playing with her. All in all, it's very affordable and my baby is safe with a clean bill of health so I would recommend this place.

    Fido came home happy and that's all that matters to me. The staff was really helpful and friendly while I booked the reservation. I really felt like they cared about Fido since she was shaking nervously when she got there. I think this is the cheapest pet hotel here in Oceanside so I definitely recommend this place.

    This place is certainly a treasure! Anthony (the operations manager) literally is gold star customer service materiel!!as you can see from the pictures my Kingston LOVES his home away from home- they're so accommodating and their hours are perfect for working Moms, military, or last minute vacay getaways! And at the end of your stay when you board they give your smelly pup a bath AMEN to that!!! Come home to a happy clean dog! Thank you so much for looking after my Kingston!!!! You've got a furrever client here!

    I have been taking my dog balboa here for about three years and I usually get pretty darn good service however yesterday I came in and got the most top-notch extra special five star unbelievable super service by an employee by the name of Anthony ... when the staff member goes out of their way to make sure you are ultimately satisfied it really goes along way with me therefore I felt the need to take the time out of my precious day and write this review. What a great asset to this company this young man is and I can see how grateful the staff members are to work in such a great place. Five stars Oceanside Pet Hotel !

From the start, I was able to call a week in advance and get information, and when I realized I couldn't book online the day before, they were able to assist and get me in with no problem. Communication was top notch. On top of that, I don't board my dog often because he can be quite nervous around new people and new dogs. However, they were so reassuring the entire time. They sent me an update and a photo in the middle of the day to settle my nerves. When I went to pick him up, he was resting so comfortably next to them. They've become like extended family--coming by a couple times a week for midday let-outs and providing overnight care whenever I'm out of town. Over the years, I've been blessed with multiple amazing sitters, all of whom have been professional, kind, and genuinely caring toward my pets. They've done a particularly great job caring for my senior dog, giving her the extra attention and patience she needs to stay comfortable and happy. Two of my dogs require daily medication, and they've always handled it with care, consistency, and attention to detail. Their communication is always excellent. I get regular updates and check-ins, and they've even stepped in on short notice when a family emergency came up--something I'm incredibly grateful for. Knowing that my pups are safe, happy, and in such capable hands gives me real peace of mind. I couldn't recommend Coco & Boo more highly!

This place was a literal lifesaver for us: the staff once noticed Bams was lethargic with faint yellow gums--a detail so subtle that even Bams vet was impressed they caught it. It turned out to be mild jaundice, which proves that Carlene and her team are true professionals who deeply understand canine health. The front desk experience is always a highlight of our day. The staff--Gabs, Kayla, Daniela, and Enrique--are incredibly sweet, soft-spoken, and remarkably easy to talk to, even during those 6 am drop-offs. Being greeted by Kayla's pup, Yogi, or Carlene's pup, Poppy or Ingrid's pup is truly the best way to start the morning. They're such a joy; all they ever ask for is a little love and some well-deserved tummy scratches! The service is so thoughtful; they know Bams loves fetch but also ensure she gets her necessary quiet breaks after meals. It wouldn't be a problem too make an exception to the rule. And I understand why the rules in place they want your dog there between six in the morning and noon for an overnight stay so that the dog will be tired and all the other dogs that are staying over will be comfortable. I get it. And again, thank you for making the exception So I dropped my dog off food medication, and specific instructions I picked my little fur baby up on Thursday evening and like normal. She is exhausted. She had a great time.     My review is based on camp and boarding w/camp…read more We were searching for the right doggy day-camp, so called a few places. I was told there's an evaluation process (which was expected since I had to do this with other potential facilities), and Josh helped answer all my questions! He explained everything clearly and even sent me photos and video of my pup to let me know how he was doing (he settled in nicely and was doing well)! There isn't a time limit for the evaluation, so I kept my pup there all day to let him have the full experience. I've since bought the punchcard which has two options. 10 daycamps for $400 or 20 for $700. We dropped our dog off a few times over summer for day camp, and almost a handful of times we were called just a couple hours after drop off because they had to bring the dogs in due to the heat. We were still charged a full day of camp. I get the full day charge if we leave our dog there all day, but it would've been great if they worked with us to charge half days (prorate it), or give a few extra comp days to compensate if we pick him up right away (which is almost always before 12). One time they noticed he rolled in his own pee while in the kennel, so they offered to give him a complimentary bath which I appreciated! Now onto my boarding experience. First and foremost, the rate for boarding is: $63. The rate for boarding with camp is $87. I signed up for boarding with camp, and asked a few times on different occasions about the charges for boarding with camp (ie. what's the cutoff time that I need to pick him up by, etc) - and was told 12pm. I asked if there was flexibility to pick him up before 3 since I indicated in the application - but the price listed is per day - so if you want your pup to have camp on the day of pickup, that's an extra fee. Multiple people told me in person and over the phone that I "should be ok" because I put it on my application - so I didn't think I'd be charged extra. So watch out for this and your pickup times if you decide to board here. They won't honor what you were told over the phone, and will only reference the contract. Also, if you sign up for boarding with camp, you are billed separately for each of the services, which creates some confusion but the math adds upcorrectly. Our dog ended up with conjunctivitis after his second boarding stay, so we were hit with an unexpected vet bill on top of that. Overall, the hours are convenient and I'm glad we found the right place for our dog, but the customer service / communication aspect for boarding needs improvement. Shoutout to Josh for all you do! It's your service and TLC you give our pup that keeps us coming back.

She is the MOST LOVING PROFESSIONAL you could ever meet. She loves my families animals as much as they love her! Emily and her pet sitters are great communicators and send the cutest music videos, professional quality photos and detailed updates upon every single visit. My Spoiled Pet has exceeded my Pet Sitting expectations so much I refer everyone I know to them.
